“My Breeze always has great time. I get lots of pictures and he seems to enjoy his daily walk. He is definitely well taken care of & I never have to worry about him. Thanks.”

“Romeo was well taken care and Rebeca and family made him feel very loved. He came home back in a very seamless transition. Rebeca was very accommodating and patience during the coordination and after keeping me updated with Romeo’s daily activities. We are so grateful! Rebeca handled the food and treats well for Romeo and he was very spoiled during our Christmas get away. Thanks!”

“I’m so grateful for the amazing care my dog received. They took such wonderful care of him and kept me updated with photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear how much love and attention they give to the pets they care for. I was absolutely delighted with the experience and would trust them again without hesitation. Thank you for treating my furry baby like family!”

“As always, he provided outstanding service! We have used him multiple times, and he consistently takes amazing care of our dog. He gives us complete peace of mind while we’re away, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about the animals he watches. This stay was especially wonderful because our dog even learned how to swim! We loved receiving updates and knowing our dog was having such a great time. We always come home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Dayana and her family are wonderful sitter’s! They treat Bella like family and have given her the nickname “Queen Bella”’. Communication is great - I receive morning and evening updates with pictures and videos. I recommend Dayana/Sonia 100% and will be using them as my dog sitters going forward.”

“Cadance took well care of our fur baby for the week that we were gone. She's very accommodating with pick up and drop off and does great with daily updates/photos. We appreciate the care she put into our pup!”

“Tara and her family were so amazing and took great care of my baby! while away, from daily pics he had so much fun playing with the other pups, didn’t seem like he wanted to come home.”

“Larissa was extremely friendly and loved on our pup right away! When I initially reached out seeking dog sitter services, she was one of the first to respond! While I had to make few slight adjustments to our travel plans, Larissa was still very accommodating. She kept in constant touch during our time away; providing us with continuous updates as to how our puppy’s day was going. It appears that our pup took well to her, her son, and her Frenchie Louie which let us know right away that we had made the right choice! I think our pup was even a bit sad when it was time for him to leave. We will definitely reconsider booking Larissa again whenever we travel, and we are even considering her for possible doggy daycare services!”

“Excellent! Sabine was very easy to work with and gave multiple updates each day. Our little pup ate well there and was happy when she came back home, which are all signs that her care was very good. Would highly recommend.”

“AJ had a blast at Tammey's. We felt very comfortable leaving him there, and her husband is great with dogs as well. AJ was well loved and we got great pictures and feedback while we were away. We'll definitely use her again!”

“Chelsea-Jo and Austin were great! This was my pet's first time boarding and I was put at ease with all of the photos and updates I would get daily. They made it very easy to meet up even with being on base. Would book with them again!”

“I’m happy that I left my dog with Yiqiuxi and Lee. She did so good with them and didn’t have any anxiety. They sent pictures and gave me updates on how she was doing every day. I will definitely use their services the next time I go away.”

“Amazing experience! Kayln took care of our pup with love and care and our dog and her little dog are now best friends! 100% recommend- she took all the worry out of leaving our dog for vacation. “Megan was extremely quick to respond and provided full details of her check ins with our new kitty. We were very nervous to go out of town for the weekend and she provided us a lot of reassurance that she was doing ok through the whole weekend. Definitely would recommend her!”

“That is a great addition—it shows she really understands different cat personalities, from the "spicy" ones who hate grooming to the shy ones. Here is the updated review with those details included: ### Review for Liz **Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** Liz provided incredible care for my three cats while I was away. It is always a bit stressful leaving a multi-cat household, but Liz handled everything with total professionalism and genuine care. She stayed on top of their specific needs, including: * **Medication & Maintenance:** She reliably administered medicine and kept the litter boxes spotless. Food and water were always fresh and topped off. * **Frank:** I loved the updates about her playing with him; she made sure he got plenty of exercise with his favorite laser toy! * **Rudy:** She even managed to give Rudy a good brushing—something he usually hates when I do it! She clearly has a magic touch. * **Ryan:** For my hider, Ryan, Liz took the time to find her every day just to lay eyes on her and make sure she was safe and doing okay. It’s clear Liz truly loves animals and respects their individual boundaries. I came home to happy, relaxed cats and a tidy home. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, patient sitter!”

About: Although I do not have cats of my own, I am happy to care for yours! I’ve worked as a cat volunteer at the humane society and pet sit for cats in the past. I have not administered medication to cats, but am happy to learn!

“Amy was absolutely amazing with our 3 fur babies!! She took wonderful care of them while we were away! I would definitely recommend her and will use her services again in the future!”

“I really appreciated the quick responses and the daily pictures. The fact that M’aiq actually let her see him goes to show she is definitely a cat person. I didn’t worry about my babies once.”

About: I have always been an animal lover. I've had small, medium and extra large dogs! Growing up I was the kid that had rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats. I obtained my vet assistant certification to learn how to better care for my pets and have enjoyed spoiling them ever since! I'd love to help care for your fur babies. I am currently working until 4pm but I'm available any time after and on weekends. My husband is home during the day so there is always someone home to look after our pets. I have a park very close by along with nature trails for long walks. I have a 6 year old large baby who is able to keep anybody entertained.
“Kady loves and knows animals and it really shows. She's very communicative and professional. Kady went above and beyond to help clean up after a cat having new litter issues. She handled my 4 cats with no issues. I highly recommend her for anyone with cats and multiple animals. I will absolutely use Kady again in the future.”

“Nicole was an amazing cat sitter! She was incredibly loving, mindful, and attentive while caring for our cat. Knowing our cat was in such caring hands gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Nicole was also very flexible and easy to work with, which we truly appreciated. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!”

“Morgan was FANTASTIC! I had never left my cat with anyone except my best friend and was extremely nervous about traveling for the holidays after she moved away. Morgan's expertise and care made it possible for my girl to stay in her comfort zone, and for me to be with family without severe anxiety. He communicated clearly and often, gave me great updates (and photos!), and was the perfect mix of professional and personable. He took plenty of time with her even when he came out on Christmas Day. He clearly understood cat psychology and Cleo adored him for it (I'm a little shocked because she does not typically warm up to people that quickly at all!). All in all I could not be more thrilled to have found a trustworthy source of care for my baby girl, and will definitely be using Morgan again in the future! 🧡”

Your trust in knowing your pet is loved brings me joy.
“Anna did a great job looking after my senior cat with health issues. As all 3 of my pets have conditions requiring meds, it is a comfort to leave them with someone with Vet Tech experience.”

About: My husband and I are blessed to have a totally fenced in home with over three acres. I decided to use this blessing to bless dogs to come and run and play. Dogs were meant to run and roam not be tied up. I so enjoy being outdoors and being around dogs. I have always had dogs even growing up with my family. My father had a heart for animals and I believe that is where my love has come from. I have three dogs of my own and each one has a very special spirit about them. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the rescues and shelters walking the dogs there. I also take rescue puppies into our home and foster them until they are adopted into a loving family. My husband and I work together and we have plenty of time to give special attention to your fur baby. We believe in exercising your pet whether by means of walking, playing with their favorite toy, sitting on the porch just hanging out and also then giving the proper rest as needed. My yard is fenced in for protected play time. While inside your pet will be allowed to be a part of household for special time and then I have a separate area where your pet will be allowed to have quite time and rest in a crate or in a area without a crate as needed.
About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. I’m available any day and any time of the week. I’m usually available last minute as well and around holidays if needed. I currently have 4 dogs; 3 Yorkies and 1 Boarder Collie mix. They’re set on a twice per day feeding and their internal clock is set to those times. If I were to be in a clients home, I would do my best to ensure the animal stays in their routine and their feeding/medication is on schedule. They’d get plenty of play times and unlimited cuddles!

About: I’ve had cats my entire life, they’re truly my favorite animal! I currently have two: Willow, my 4 year-old indoor cat, and Stella, our 9 year-old barn cat. They’re both spayed and well cared for with regular feeding schedules (wet food twice a day, with treats here and there!). I clean their litter boxes often every other day for Willow, and every 3–4 days for Stella, since she spends some time outdoors. I also have experience caring for my neighbor’s seven cats (four indoor and three outdoor) when she travels for work, along with her farm animals like rabbits, chickens, and other small critters. I’ve even helped care for baby kittens, so I’m well-versed in their unique needs. I’d love the chance to meet and care for your kitty too! I have also recently just started the Vet Assistant program at CSM to help me further my career in animal care. I am ready to help you and your lovely cats feel safe and at ease!!

“My first time using Rover and can’t say that I wasn’t nervous. I spoke to Seyla the night before my drop off and he assured me that Ace was in good hands. And that he was. He communicated with me all day with videos and pictures of Ace mingling with the other dogs and his daily walks he took. The pick up and drop was very smooth. Ace was accepted and enjoyed his day with Seyla and his wife. Got him home and was ready for bed. I would definitely recommend Sehla to anyone and will for sure will be using his service again.”

“We were visiting from out of town for our sons wedding and needed a last minute sitter. Thankfully we found Megan! Olive had a great time with Megan. She was a happy and worn out pup by the time we picked her up.”

“Vanessa and Geoffrey were so kind and professional with the initial meet and greet for doggy daycare. They sent lots of updates and pictures to put my mind at ease. This was our first in-home dog care experience, and we will definitely be back!”

About: Hi! I am Sarah. I am a mom, business owner, and dog lover living in 7 acres in La Plata. I offer in home boarding and care in a peaceful, low stress environment where your animals can relax, explore, and feel at home. I am currently working on installing a fence, so for now I can do leash walks to keep everyone safe, or supervised play for small puppies since we are acres from the road. If you’re looking for personalized care, space, and a more relaxed environment, I’d love to care for your dog. Dogs are never left unattended for long periods, and I prioritize safety at all times. Dogs get plenty of supervised outdoor time and a comfortable, clean space inside to decompress. I care for pets in home as if they’re part of the family. I can follow each dogs routines, which includes feeding schedule, potty breaks, walks, and any special instructions that you provide.
“This was the first time in 12 years I have used a dog sitter, and it will not be the last time because of Rebeca and Roman. They were very responsive from the beginning of the Rover process, and they continued throughout the four days I used their services. Rebeca greeted us every morning and afternoon with a smile. After the first day, Maple could not wait to get to Rebeca, literally jumping from my arms to her arms when we arrived at Rebeca/Roman’s home. I received a daily picture and even a video of Maple during the day. I had no concerns during the four days of daycare because of the pleasant attitude, daily photos, and Maple’s behavior before and after her time with Rebeca and Roman. Overall, a great experience. I will 100% use Rebeca and Roman again!!!”

“My dog and I just moved to a new area so I was anxious about finding someone to watch him while we get settled. Jennifer and Justin were so kind and sent me plenty of photos throughout the day. They even very kindly washed his bowl after he ate his food. My dog had an amazing time and I would trust them to watch him again”

“Awesome experience! Jason and Jeremy were wonderful and gave us piece of mind that our dog was having a great time as opposed to being locked up in a kennel all day. Thank you!”

“Tamara is very reliable dog seater. Communication and accommodation flexibility is to be dependable. Kingsley had a very good time for being first time for him to be cared by Tamara. We are very happy with Tamara. Thank you so much Tamara for caring Kingsley yesterday.”

“Kai had a blast spending the day with Michael. Kai has separation anxiety and we were able to enjoy our event knowing Kai was in good hands. Will definitely be using them again.”

“Nancy took such good care of Jasper! My sweet dog is a rescue, and can have pretty severe separation anxiety while I'm away. I was in town for a wedding, and wanted to know that Jasper was well cared for and had someone to hang out with all day. Nancy understood exactly what Jasper needed, and I returned to a happy and relaxed dog. I will definitely book with Nancy again next time we're in town.”
“I needed to find a sitter while traveling to VA for the 4th of July - Christin is a wonderful communicator, and even without the opportunity for a meet and greet I felt very at ease about having Felix stay with her. She was very understanding and flexible with my fluctuating schedule, she and her husband were both very helpful in making Felix feel comfortable when we first arrived, and I had total confidence that he would be well cared for during his stay with her (and he was 😊)!!”

“Jona did a fantastic job caring for Silly this week. Silly loved going to Jona’s house and definitely came home more well-mannered. Jona did a great job working with Silly and her needs. I highly recommend and will be bringing Silly girl back for sure!”

“Our dog's stay with Katie was great! I really appreciated how she took the time to get to know his quirks and habits, and he was very well taken care of. You can tell that she genuinely cares about animals. I would definitely recommend her.”

“First time Rover user, and Erin was fantastic! She’s very communicative, honest, and friendly. Much better experience than the kennel. Highly recommended!! Thanks again, Erin!!”

“Zorra and Theodore were SOOOOOO happy with their stay with Jorge's family! We received several pictures. We appreciated how they made our dog care request work out with their busy schedule! Next time we travel to Stafford, we will definitely request Jorge's family.”

“Ann and Rick made my dog Winnie feel right at home and took great care of her during our recent very long day first visit. I received reports and photos during the day, which I very much appreciated. Even though we had done a successful meet and great beforehand and Winnie trotted into their house with only a brief look back, they felt she was a bit nervous and adjusted her day accordingly. I look forward to future bookings.”

“Morgan has been great at taking care of Amber and Scarlet. Amber is slow to warm up to strangers but Morgan has done a great job making them feel more comfortable and I know they will become fast friends. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a dog sitter or walker.”

“Trina has been amazing with Nugget who is NOT a fan of walking. She has been resourceful to ensure he gets the most out of his walks. She is on time, communicative and provides a thorough report after each walk.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 5 years through family, friends, and neighbors. I’m experienced with feeding routines, daily walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and providing plenty of love and attention while owners are away. I can comfortably administer oral medications, perform basic grooming like brushing and wiping paws, and I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and routine. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Currently I am working from home which will allow for me to be as flexible as needed to watch all of your furry friends whenever necessary! I ensure that pets in both my home and my friends or clients' homes receive attention and loving care, tailored to their individual needs and routines.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals and feel very comfortable handling pets with different needs and personalities. I currently work in recreational therapy twice a week, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong attention to detail skills that carry over into providing safe and attentive pet care. As an online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, consistency, an supervision they deserve. At home, our family has five dogs, so I am very familiar with managing multiple pets at once and maintaining consistent schedules. In addition to daily care, I have experience with overnight dog sitting that includes week-long stays where I handled feeding, walks, playtime and managing pet's normal routines. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and cats and I understand how to adjust care depending on energy level and age. I have also taken care of chickens while house sitting, so I am comfortable with a variety of animals beyond just dogs and cats. I am able to drive, which allies me to be available for drop ins, walks, and emergencies if needed. Overall, I am dedicated to making families feel safe with leaving their pets at home and making the pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I currently work part time and am an online college student. I work Wednesday and Friday nights from 4pm-9pm. For my college classes I do not have to be on any type of zoom, so I do my course work at my own pace. I provide care in my clients home so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment and maintain their normal routine. I follow all care instructions including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure and keep pets aware from anything that may be unsafe. I work to build trust with both owners and pets by being consistent, patient, and respectful of each pet's personality. I also have reliable transportation, so if an emergency does arise I can provide additional needs.
About: I just relocated to the Maryland/DC area from Monterey, California. I am excited to be back on the east coast and I look forward to making some new friends here! I love exotic animals (and farm animals) and I also offer petsitting services for these friends, just send me a message and I can make you a custom booking. I can give any medications to your pets, including pills, injections, and topical medication for no extra charge. All medication administration is including in my base rates. I have experience giving insulin, chemo, daily fluids, and many other medications. I love watching elderly animals and I can provide any needed medical care. I live and work in Maryland but I am happy to housesit and do drop-in visits and walks for anyone in Maryland, Virginia, or DC. My service area is wide and I don't mind driving a bit to get to your house. I have military base access and I'm happy to watch animals living on military bases in the area. I worked as a veterinary technician for over 5 years before I started working in human medicine. I worked at a veterinary hospital in Georgia for over five years while I completed college. I frequently petsat during high school and college and cared for several animals that were medically fragile. I enjoy bottle-feeding puppies and kittens in my free time. I love all types of animals and can provide advanced medical care to boarding animals. I have worked with all sizes, shapes, and types of animals at the vet clinic and have had many exotic animals of my own. I currently have 4 dogs, 3 birds, and 2 hedgehogs. I am happy to watch any number of animals, including farm animals, please just send me a message and I can create a custom booking for you and your pets depending on the level of care that they need. My husband and I live with our 4 dogs in La Plata, Maryland. We have a large fenced in yard and plenty of space to play in. We have 2 doves in a birdcage at home but they will not interfere with the dogs. We are unable to host cats in our home due to an allergy but I am available to petsit for cats in your home. My husband watches our animals while I am away housesitting, they would not come with me to any of my bookings. I work about 15 hours out of the home each week but other than that I am always home. I have 4 dogs of my own, 3 birds, and 2 hedgehogs so taking care of animals is something I enjoy doing. I recently adopted 2 hedgehogs and I hope to keep growing my animal family in the future. I don't have kids and my husband also assists with animal care when needed (the dogs are my kids let's be honest). When I am boarding dogs at my home, they are one of my family and do the same things my dogs are doing. I take everyone outside frequently and I am always throwing a ball or playing tug of war with someone. If I'm napping, the dogs are on the bed with me napping too. Usually everyone is pretty happy to be lounging on the couch or following me around the house while I do my chores. I have a large fenced in yard that I prefer to use to exercise dogs and take them to potty. I am happy to walk dogs around the neighborhood if they need the extra exercise but I do require that the dog has a well fitting harness. Some dogs are master escape artists from their collars/harnesses (little houdinis), so if this is the case for your dog we will be playing inside my fenced in yard instead. My fence is about 6 feet tall so if your dog is capable of jumping higher than this please let me know when booking.

I bring a mix of high energy, real experience, and a genuine love for all kinds of pets. I’m great with puppies who need structure, rescues who need patience, and seniors who need comfort and consistency. I read body language well, keep pets active and engaged, and tailor everything to their personality so they feel safe, confident, and cared for, and at the end of the day, pets get someone who’s fully present, tuned in, and committed to making their time feel good and stress free( since they have so much responsibility). 🤗 Use my promo code for your first visit: KAITLM75162 Profile link: https://www.rover.com/sit/kaitlm75162 I structure my days around walks, feeding, playtime, and check ins, so caring for pets naturally fits into my morning and evening rhythm. I’m active and outside often, which makes daily walks and enrichment easy to build in. Weekly, I plan extra time for longer walks, yard play, and any overnight care that’s needed. I stay attentive to each pet’s needs, whether that’s extra exercise, slow introductions, or a calm environment for seniors or rescues. I follow the owner’s routines closely so pets stay in their familiar rhythm. Walks, feeding, medication, and enrichment are done exactly as instructed. I keep the home tidy, respect boundaries, and make sure pets get the same level of attention, affection, and structure they’re used to.
About: I have been around dogs since I was born. Personally, my family adopted my first puppy when I was 10. I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors, family and friends since I was around 13. Now grown with my own pup, I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby while you aren’t able. I would love to be trusted to care for your babies when you aren’t available. I currently work from home Monday and Friday, so your pet would get just as much attention as mine. We are home most weekends, where your pup will get 2 walks and play time. I have a fenced yard and one playful, yet shy at first pup. Once she warms up, it’s constant playtime and an endless amount of toys and treats to share. When we leave the house, our dog is left uncrated but we have a crate if needed.
About: Hi, I'm Val! I'm a lifelong animal lover with decades of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes (we were definitely a pet-crazy family!). My sister is a former vet tech (I have learned so much from her and she is still my #1 resource when I have to "triage" anything non-emergent), and I grew up surrounded by animals, so pet care has always felt like second nature to me. I’ve cared for senior pets, administered medications, supported animals with special needs, even raised premature puppies! I’m very attuned to the unique rhythms and cues of each animal I meet. I’m gentle, playful, and intuitive, matching energy levels and always paying attention to what a pet needs in the moment. Whether that means slow movements and soft energy or zoomies and tug-of-war, I show up in a way that helps your pet feel safe, respected, and loved. I also deeply value communication with pet parents. I’ll always ask lots of questions to understand your preferences, routines, and what makes your pet feel their best. You can count on regular photo and written updates during our time together! I’m flexible with scheduling and happy to work with pets who may require more attention on walks together due to triggers, so long as there’s no bite history and we’ve had a proper meet & greet to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. :) I'm looking forward to meeting your fur fam! I work remotely and have a flexible and self-structured schedule, so I’m thankfully able to build my days intentionally around the things that matter, including pet care! I space out my client sessions to make room for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with the animals I care for. When caring for pets in their home, I’m respectful of their space and routines, and always take the time to understand what helps them feel safe and comfortable. I read behavior cues, match energy levels, and adjust my approach, whether that means calm and slow or playful and high-energy. I ask detailed questions up front so I can follow your preferences closely, and I always keep you updated with photos and notes. Your pet’s well-being and emotional safety are my top priorities.

About: Hi! I’m Amy, and I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years. What started as helping friends and family has grown into something I truly love—providing reliable, compassionate care for pets of all kinds. I have experience with a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, rabbits, goats, and more. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended pet sitting, I’m comfortable adapting to each animal’s unique personality, needs, and routine. For dog walking, I’ve been doing it consistently for the past 2 years and understand how important exercise, structure, and safety are. I always make sure your dog gets the attention, activity, and care they deserve. I treat every animal as if they were my own and prioritize keeping them happy, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pets are in good hands. If you’re looking for someone experienced, dependable, and truly passionate about animals—I’d love to help care for your pets! I am currently working from home and most of the time my schedule is flexible, so my weekends and most of the week is open for whatever your pets may need! We have 3 acres of property so lots of room to run around however our yard is not fenced in. We have four dogs and two of them would be more than happy to be a playmate if needed!
About: Hi! My name is Yari. I’ve been an animal lover all my life. I’ve been around mostly large dogs breeds(Multiple Boxers, Multiple Rotties)but I appreciate a fun sized fur baby as well. I am a dog mom to a Jack Russel Tarrier(She’s my World). I have worked at a doggie daycare/boarding so multiple dogs are ok with me. I love taking strolls and enjoying the weather; And if I can do that with your Fur Baby, it’s worth even more. I am very flexible with your needs and the needs of your Furbabies. Any special request that you ask, will most likely be no issue with me. I’m looking forward to get to know your Furbabies and hear from you. Thank you for your time!

“Mickey and his family are awesome! They treat my my fur baby as if she was theirs. Love getting pictures and videos during her visits. The kennel will now only be used as my “back up” place. Highly recommend!”
