About: I’ve had dogs since I was 6 years old, and love going on walks and spending quality with pups. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for both young puppies and sweet senior dogs who need a little extra TLC. My goal is to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I'm currently home full-time, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pup all of the love and care they need! While I don’t have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised - either on walks or a secure lead. I will follow your pet’s routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, making sure they are safe, happy, and loved. Whether at my home or yours, I treat every pet like family and keep you updated throughout the stay!
About: We’ve had animals since our whole life, me and my partner love to take care of the animals and would love to meet all of your animals and to take care of them, take them on a walk, etc I’m currently working part time, my partner, Taylor is a online college student so we have a lot of time between us to go and take care of the animals whenever it is needed (: When I’m at your home I’d watch them all the times, put on leash everytime we go out or go on a walk, make sure they’re keeping themselves busy

“Payton was amazing! This was our first time using Rover, and Payton made me feel completely comfortable leaving my pup Louie with her, even when he got sick last minute and needed a house sitter instead. She came over for a meet and greet beforehand, sent lots of picture updates, and took him for a long walk so that he was worn out when I returned. I completely trusted her (a pharmacist!) to give my dog his meds as scheduled. Since then, we've used Payton for drop in visits as well. She's reliable, great with our pup, and as an added bonus - she left the house super clean after my dog ran through covered in mud. Highly recommend Payton!”

About: I have had the privilege of taking care of many different kinds of pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, birds) over the course of my life. This means that I have lots of time to play and spend time with your fur baby. I have taken care of many different pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, birds) in other people's homes. I will always respect your space and focus all my attention on your pet. About: My family has always owned a dog. Ever since I was young, my family and friends have relied on me to care for their animals, whether it be a walk, or an overnight sit. I’m a current Ball State Social Work grad student and love paying visits to the local Animal Shelter in my free time! I am a part time grad student at Ball State University, and also work part time at a daycare. I still have a lot of free time I’d like to fill throughout the week doing something I love, like taking care of animals. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for other peoples babies. Safety for myself and the pet is my number one priority. I do have a fenced in big back yard, and I also live right next to campus!

I work full time during the day, but my wife works full time from home and can provide care during the day while I’m gone. We are available to take your dogs for regular walks and give them a lot of personal attention and love while they are in our care We are available full time between me and my wife. Katherine works from home. We would love to have the opportunity to care for your pets. We have a fenced in back yard for them to run and play We also will walk them regularly and show them much attention. By the end of the day they will be ready for bed.
About: I am a life-long dog owner and have had the joy of owning two dogs throughout my life: a perfect golden retriever who lived to be 15 and a wonderful terrier who is currently 6. I am also currently a law student at NYU and will be graduating in May. Thank you for considering me to spend time with your pet! I am available all day on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, except for when I'm traveling on select weekends. I am generally available 9am to 9pm for walks, depending on the distance from my home. I have experience walking my large (80 lb) golden retriever. He enjoyed chasing squirrels, pulling on his leash, and running to greet other dogs - so I have seen it all, and I am confident I can care for your pet on a walk! My family currently has a terrier, so I also love a small dog!

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since I was a child. Beyond my own pets, I worked as an animal caretaker and cared for pets of varying ages and abilities. I’ve even given medicine to a baby chameleon! I’m a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I will be on break until August. I have my own sweet dog that loves other dogs, but if yours needs walked alone, that’s okay too. I have always had pets of all kinds and I worked at petsmart as the animal caretaker, so I have experience with traditional pets as well as reptiles, birds, fish, etc.
About: I love animals so much! I understand how scary it can be to trust someone new with your beloved pets, I have three cats of my own who I would do anything for. I have dog sat in home and visited homes for potty breaks, I have also walked dogs, volunteered at my local humane society and fostered animals! I also work at a veterinary clinic and have lots of hands on experience in the field. Rest assured any emergencies would be handled efficiently. I check on all my animals multiple times a week, I love to cuddle and love on any animals and give them tons of attention. I really enjoy basic training and walking with them! I feed detailed and thoughtful meals and spend quality time with any pet I am with. I do have a job that requires me to work many days during the week, but it doesn’t affect my ability to tend to animals in my care. My husband is also readily available to assist me whenever needed. He is just as much of a lover as I am and is currently in school for Veterinary Medicine. I feed them 2-3x daily, change their water every day, offer treats and plenty of outdoor time. I make sure everything they need is handled every day. I can administer medications and provide more in depth care due to my extensive experience.

I have also dog sat on plenty occasions for Rottweilers, a German Shepard, a chihuahua, small pups etc. I’m currently a college student with enough free time to look for a gig so I’m very free during the beginning of the week and at certain times on the ends of the week I will keep your fluffy friend fed and exercised ( believe me I need it) and although I don’t have a fenced in backyard they will be able to be in my house as well as roam in my open garage if you’re comfortable with that. About: I actually started watching dogs and cats for families I was babysitting and nannying for while they were out of town about four years ago. About 90% of my experience is with extended dog sitting in the owners home. While watching the dogs I not only let them out to potty but also walk them, play with them, and clean up any messes whether chewed or accidents that may occur! I have some owners who like me to stay overnight and others who do not and I am completely okay with either way. I am also comfortable administering medicine or changing bandages. I am always up for taking your dog places too, a dog park or for a bath or simple for a drive! I’m comfortable with cats, dogs, and a plethora of other animals. I can care for any of your loving animals! I hope to get to know you and your fur babies in the future! I currently am a stay at home mom. I have one school age child and a toddler. I am looking for bookings to be able to stay at home with my girls (and my two pups of course). School drop off/pick up is for a short time in the morning and in the late afternoon. Any walks or drop-ins would be scheduled around school drop off and pick up times! I care for pets as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This can look like feeding on schedule, giving fresh water, administering medications if needed. Each visit includes some play and cuddles too so they feel just as loved as when you are there!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
