We are a mature, dedicated couple turning our lifelong passion for animals into a full- time retirement journey. My (Jennifer) background includes years of working with a wildlife rescue and operating professional mobile petting zoos. Kelly has helped me with petting zoos since late 2023. We are both comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and species of animals. We currently volunteer at our local animal shelter, walking and socializing dogs of all temperaments. We are also studying and learning basic obedience training and practicing with the dogs at shelter as well. And Kelly has recently finished dog grooming school and is working as a groomer. With both of us focused on your pet, someone is almost always available for potty breaks, playtime, and companionship! We follow your house rules and medical instructions to the letter. We treat your pets like our own "grand-animals" - with extra spoiling and total safety. 🥰 Find us on FB - Keener Pet Services We are flexible, but I do expect our business to grow and for our schedule to start filling up. We will always do what we are able with any available time that we have. Unfortunately, we are unable to bring cats or dogs to our house. However, we can bring caged animals to our house if that kind of care is needed. We have experience with indoor bunnies, guinea pigs, geckos, hedgehogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, and snakes, just to name a few examples of animals we could bring home with us. In your home, we would request a detailed outline of what you would need done and how you'd like us to do it. We respect people and their property, so we would only go into the common areas of your home, and any areas you've requested service in.

About: I’ve taken care of my friends and family pets as well as others who need pet sitting and house sitting needs. Cats, dogs, fish, I have tons of experience watching any type of pet. Since I am on my summer break I will be able to watch your pets and/or house with a lot more flexibility than others. I’m also in college so my schedule is more relaxed and I can also watch your pets and/or house depending on the time year round. For my cat I do most everything he doesn’t need me too. He has an automatic feeder and water so I only have to take care of his litter box if he uses it. As for other pets, I will do whatever the parents of the pets want me to do to keep their pets safe!

About: I have several years of experience working in veterinary clinics, as well as having my own fur babies that I look after. To me, our pets are like children and I love every animal that I meet. Whether you just need help from time to time with potty breaks, or need someone dependable to look after your babies for an extended period, I can promise that they will be in caring and amazing hands with me. I grew up on a farm, constantly around animals of all shapes and sizes. Nothing at all makes me happier than coming home to wet noses and the happiness my pups exhibit upon seeing me. I have worked as a veterinary technician for 6+ years so I am experienced in caring for animals in the proper way. I truly believe that every single animal deserves to be healthy and happy and I do my best to achieve that. I am currently a Practice Manager at a veterinary clinic. I work 5 days a week, but have time before, during lunch, and after work to assist with pet care. I am adaptable to any kind of care that is needed for your pets. I’ve dog-sat many times for friends and families, including caring for multiple pets in one home for weeks at a time (3 dogs and 4 cats). In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and house rules to ensure consistency for the pet. I always make sure doors and gates are secure, keep a close eye on pets during walks or playtime, and maintain a clean environment including food areas and litter boxes. I take time to build trust with each pet at their own pace, especially those who may be shy or anxious. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and provide dependable, attentive care so owners can feel completely at ease while they’re away.
