About: Hello, My name is Sam, and I’m on Rover because I love animals. I'm a creative writing professor at Berry College, which means that I have a flexible teaching schedule that allows me to be available during more traditional business hours--making me the perfect choice to walk your pups while you're at work, stop in to feed the cat lunch, or check in on small animals throughout the day. My previous work experience includes being a volunteer at the Animal Friends Humane Society in Ohio and being an employee at multiple pet boarding facilities where I was responsible for the daily feeding, walking, and socializing of the dogs in our care. I'm a pet owner myself--I currently have or have had large and small dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters and gerbils, turtles, crabs, fish, and more, which means that I am fully qualified to take care of ALL of your animals while you're away, including daily visits for extended periods of time while you're on vacation. I take care of plants too! I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs, puppies and elderly animals, walking and socializing dogs off-and-on leash, teaching dogs commands, giving dogs medication and baths, and with potty-training. I am also an expert cuddle buddy. (: I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own. I look forward to the chance to meet your babies and thank you for the opportunity to love them as you do. Since I am only on campus part-time, I have my afternoons free to check on your pups while you're at work. I am available on weekdays before 12p and after 2/3p. (And I can also accommodate early morning visits, as well as evenings.) I walk/exercise daily in the afternoons and it's my hope that I can meet some pups willing to do that with me every day! For cat-sitting, it's worth noting I'm pretty experienced with sassy cat attitudes, ha. I'm not alarmed or put off if a cat is defensive; I know when to give them space and when to ignore them. I am patient and quiet, so I will take the time necessary to earn a worried kitty's trust. Additionally, I’m happy to stay a little longer to hold and love on the especially cuddly types.

About: I've taken care of animals since birth. I have grown up with at least 2 cats and 2 dogs in my home since I was born. I am so passionate about animals. I volunteer at a local cat shelter most Saturdays. I also grew up with a cat with a heart disease, so I am very comfortable administering medication. I will treat your pets as my own! I am a College Student, so early mornings and evenings work for me! I have some afternoon slots open MWF. Weekends are open! Walks, check-ins, snuggles, anything! Clear understanding of their schedule, routine, and preferences. We can discuss any triggers your pet has. I send updates and photos/videos of the furry friends if requested. I understand the stress of leaving a family member, and want to make you and your furry friend as comfortable as possible.

About: I am currently going to school to become a veterinarian, which has given me a strong foundation in animal health and behavior. I have been trusted by friends, family, neighbors, and mutual connections to care for their animals since I was young. In addition, I have pet-sat for many furry friends and worked in veterinary clinics for the past two years, gaining hands-on experience caring for puppies/kittens and senior pets. I am currently going to school full time, but I have many breaks throughout the day and a flexible schedule. This allows me to make pet care a priority, with plenty of time for visits, play, feeding, and attentive care throughout the day. About: Hi! My name is Kierstyn. I'm an experienced vet tech with knowledge of how to handle healthy pets, medically complex pets that require medications, and emergencies if they were to happen. From my work experience I know that some pets do much better in their own home rather than in a boarding facility or having to be watched at someone else's home and I would love to be able to allow the pet for feel more safe and comfortable by allowing them to stay in their own home. I currently work full time. If you prefer for me to stay in your home then I'll let your pet out/walk/ check on them and feed them in the mornings and in the evenings. I am typically able to check on them during the middle of the day and let them out/ walk them then too however sometimes work does not allow this. If I do drop ins I will do them early in the morning, before 7:30, if possible then I will check on them between 11:30am and 1:30pm, between 5:30 and 7:30 pm, and between 8:30-10pm if requested. All care would be provided at your home. This is because I feel like most pets are most comfortable in their own space. I will ask for detailed instructions on how you'd like your pet to be let out/ walked and specific feeding/ medicating instructions. I will be happy to stay in your home or just do drop ins throughout the day, whichever you prefer.

About: I have several years of experience working in veterinary clinics, as well as having my own fur babies that I look after. To me, our pets are like children and I love every animal that I meet. Whether you just need help from time to time with potty breaks, or need someone dependable to look after your babies for an extended period, I can promise that they will be in caring and amazing hands with me. I grew up on a farm, constantly around animals of all shapes and sizes. Nothing at all makes me happier than coming home to wet noses and the happiness my pups exhibit upon seeing me. I have worked as a veterinary technician for 6+ years so I am experienced in caring for animals in the proper way. I truly believe that every single animal deserves to be healthy and happy and I do my best to achieve that. I am currently a Practice Manager at a veterinary clinic. I work 5 days a week, but have time before, during lunch, and after work to assist with pet care. I am adaptable to any kind of care that is needed for your pets. I am very detailed when it comes to following instructions and guidelines you set forth for your pet’s care.
