The Pet Whisperer
Experience, Maturity, Compassion, Reliability & LOVE My love of animals is a defining attribute. Friends, family & clients always remark on how quickly their pets respond & seem to be drawn to me. While I am new to Rover, my experience ranges from care for pleasure & show horses, to lama’s, pet pigs and all sizes & breeds of cats and dogs. I have cared for everything from puppies, kittens & seniors, to ill & injured animals - including managing medications and rehab. This broad range of experience just means that I am well prepared to care for your fur babies and to adapt to your needs, and your home environment. When I’m caring for your pets they are my primary focus. I have cared for fur babies in all types of locations from apartments & homes to large working farms. I have even bottle fed pups & kittens (and a kangaroo) who were not thriving in their litters, or orphaned. I regularly assist my family with the care of rescued dogs who are acclimating to a foster home and preparing to transition to a forever home. Through our fosters, I have a great deal of experience with dogs who are stressed, fearful, and may have been abused previously. I previously worked for a horse rescue whose mission was both providing a safe space for the horses, and providing equine therapy for adolescents and military veterans who had experienced trauma.

Care for your family member starts with getting to know them prior to beginning the job and having a clear understanding of their schedule, routine, preferences, and any dislikes or behavioral triggers. If your pet has use of a fenced area, I don’t just let them out…I spend time playing with them there. I enjoy leashed walks with dogs, and walk multiple times per day if appropriate, even if a fenced area is available. I closely monitor how your pets are adapting to your absence and I ensure that you are able to relax while away by providing daily updates and photo’s. I thrive on the love, cuddles and quality time that I spend with your furry family. That will become quickly evident if you choose to book your next outing with me.

Regina did a wonderful job taking care of our pets while we were away for a long weekend. Forest got lots of walks to use up his bountiful energy. The kitties were happy and healthy when we got home. I appreciated how detail-oriented Regina was, asking all the important questions to be sure she could provide top notch care as a sitter.
My boys love having Regina stay with them. I appreciate all the attention she provides them! Excellent sitter!
Our girls love having Regina come stay with them; I’m not even sure they miss us while we’re gone! She takes great care of them and leaves the house cleaner than she found it.

Outstanding…. Regina was so great with my pets! She stayed 3 days and was with the dogs over the New Year holiday… I have a collie that is VERY anxious during fireworks and noise producers… she created a relaxing environment for my pets and was with them during the entirety of my time away! I would hire her again in a minute! You will be pleased if you do too!

Schedule
When I schedule with a client that is my primary job & focus. I currently do not have pets of my own, but volunteer assistance with a rescue group when not working.
