“So grateful for Christine! Gladys and Mini were in great hands. I felt at ease knowing she came by at the exact times we discussed and everything went as planned. I will definitely be contacting her again when we have to live my babies behind.”

About: I’ve taken care of my friends and family pets as well as others who need pet sitting and house sitting needs. Cats, dogs, fish, I have tons of experience watching any type of pet. Since I am on my summer break I will be able to watch your pets and/or house with a lot more flexibility than others. I’m also in college so my schedule is more relaxed and I can also watch your pets and/or house depending on the time year round. For my cat I do most everything he doesn’t need me too. He has an automatic feeder and water so I only have to take care of his litter box if he uses it. As for other pets, I will do whatever the parents of the pets want me to do to keep their pets safe!
“We loved having Kierstyn do drop in visits while we were away she was soo kind and sweet to our boys and I feel extremely confident w her around animals. She works close by at a vet clinic which is a huge plus! She sent great updates and even did an extra drop in for me last min due to some weather. Really appreciate her helping us! Highly recommend”

“Tessa did such a great job taking care of my dog & cat! She sent lots of pictures so I could see them while I was out of town and was very communicative. Will definitely hire her again! Thanks, Tessa! 😊”

“100/10 stars! Kyle was absolutely amazing for our crew! We booked with him last minute & around Christmas time! With 3 dogs, we were slightly worried if he'd be able to handle it, but he handled everything seamlessly & with grace! The dogs instantly were instantly comfortable around him too, and our cat, who is VERY shy, even came out of hiding too! Kyle went ABOVE & BEYOND what we asked & we couldn't have felt more comfortable! He is very knowledgeable & super trust worthy! We will not be using any other sitter ever again! Praying he keeps us! Haha 😊”

“Jordan did such a great job at taking care of our dog! She was always on time and gave our dog lots of love. She is very responsive and sends pictures and updates during her visits. We definitely will use her again for future dog sitting needs.”

“Wonderful thoughtful people! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Justin & Christina sat with my dog twice a day for 2 and a half weeks while I traveled for medical care. My dog loved them and was very comfortable while I was gone. I can absolutely recommend them and will call them again. ??”
About: First off, we work with you! Pricing is just a base, definitely contact us to discuss what you are needing and we can figure out a price that works for us both! We are a mature, dedicated couple turning our lifelong passion for animals into a full- time retirement journey. My background includes years of working with a wildlife rescue and operating professional mobile petting zoos. My husband has helped me with petting zoos since late 2023. We are both comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and species of animals. We currently volunteer at our local animal shelter, walking and socializing dogs of all temperaments. We are also studying and learning basic obedience training and practicing with the dogs at shelter as well. With both of us focused on your pet, someone is almost always available for potty breaks, playtime, and companionship! We follow your house rules and medical instructions to the letter. We treat your pets like our own "grand-animals" - with extra spoiling and total safety. 🥰 (Prices are negotiable.) Find us on FB - Keener Pet Services We are flexible, but I do expect our business to grow. We will always do what we are able with any available time that we have. Unfortunately, we are unable to bring cats or dogs to our house. However, we can bring caged animals to our house if that kind of care is needed. We have experience with indoor bunnies, guinea pigs, geckos, hedgehogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, and snakes, just to name a few examples of animals we could bring home with us. In your home, we would request a detailed outline of what you would need done and how you'd like us to do it. We respect people and their property, so we would only go into the common areas of your home, and any areas you've requested service in.
About: I have taken care of animals of every kind since I was a young child. I routinely keep my family and friend’s animals while they are busy or just for fun! I am currently a work from home parent with plenty of time to give your baby the one-on-one time they need! Extra lovings and playtime is taken serious 😊 In your home I will diligently work with your animals the way that you need me too! I cannot wait to meet you and your baby.
“We hired Ali to take care of our four legged son, our standard Poodle Leo. She responded promptly when we reached out to her. The minute she met Leo, he fell in love with her. She has a kind and tender demeanor with dogs. Ali is very nice to talk and easy going. She is responsible and flexible, trying to accommodate the needs of her customers. Every day she came to our house, she provided us with a detailed report of Leo’s activities along with a cute photo. We appreciate that. Ali was always on time. We felt so at peace during our weekend get away knowing that Leo was being taken care by someone caring and responsible. Ali met all of our expectations. We will hire her again and we definitely recommend her to anyone needing pet sitting services.”

“Madison’s experience at the vet gives our family such confidence that we can leave our dog in the best of hands. Her knowledge on how to handle “skiddish” dogs was perfect for our animal. She’s always on time and dependable. Boba loves her and that’s the most important thing to us. I would 100% recommend her to watch any type of animal you have.”
About: Hello, My name is Sam, and I’m on Rover because I love animals. I'm a creative writing professor at Berry College, which means that I have a flexible teaching schedule that allows me to be available during more traditional business hours--making me the perfect choice to walk your pups while you're at work, stop in to feed the cat lunch, or check in on small animals throughout the day. My previous work experience includes being a volunteer at the Animal Friends Humane Society in Ohio and being an employee at multiple pet boarding facilities where I was responsible for the daily feeding, walking, and socializing of the dogs in our care. I'm a pet owner myself--I currently have or have had large and small dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters and gerbils, turtles, crabs, fish, and more, which means that I am fully qualified to take care of ALL of your animals while you're away, including daily visits for extended periods of time while you're on vacation. I take care of plants too! I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs, puppies and elderly animals, walking and socializing dogs off-and-on leash, teaching dogs commands, giving dogs medication and baths, and with potty-training. I am also an expert cuddle buddy. (: I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own. I look forward to the chance to meet your babies and thank you for the opportunity to love them as you do. It’s summer for us professors, so I have a very flexible schedule and can drop by at any time of day, even and especially on weekdays! I walk/exercise daily in the afternoons and it's my hope that I can meet some pups willing to do that with me every day! I will of course follow all owner instruction re: what leash or harness/collar to use, what the house rules are for playing, etc. I never unleash or introduce to other animals on a walk. For cat-sitting, it's worth noting I'm pretty experienced with sassy cat attitudes, ha. I'm not alarmed or put off if a cat is defensive; I know when to give them space and when to ignore them. I am patient and quiet, so I will take the time necessary to earn a worried kitty's trust. Additionally, I’m happy to stay a little longer to hold and love on the especially cuddly types.

About: I’ve taken care of every type of dog and cat, and even horses and small pets like fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, and bunnies, since I was a kid, from neighbors, to family and friends, and even friends of friends that have reached out to me personally because of my compassion and capacity to understand animals and love them like my own. I’ve just graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, and I’ll be working on my Masters in the same field, virtually in the fall. Though my cat has anxiety and I am unable to leave him alone at night, I am available to care for your babies any time during the day, as I will have a flexible schedule of online classes. When arriving at your home, I would carefully come in the door if you have escape artists, and I would allow them to adjust on their own terms to my company. I would cater to whatever needs they had, whether that meant spending time outside, going on walks, eating meals, taking medication, playing, or simply sitting in their presence.

Rome cat parents share their Rover experiences
⸻ I reached out to Elizabeth and she responded with such a positive and warm attitude. When we met in person, I immediately liked her—she’s very outgoing and easy to connect with. I have four cats, and they’re not the easiest to win over. Three of them usually hide under the bed when strangers are around, but one actually came out to greet her. Elizabeth was incredibly kind and patient, speaking gently and making a real effort to help them feel comfortable. Although I originally booked her for six days, I only needed help for five. When I returned, everything was spotless—the litter boxes were clean, they had fresh water, and the cats all seemed happy and well cared for.
