When I got older, I began getting requests for looking after dogs and cats while people went on vacation. For dogs, this could look like playing, walking, or just sitting and cuddling. For cats, also playing and cuddling. Having human contact even with just being present can provide great comfort to animals while their people are away. About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I’ve been watching my friends and my friends families animals for a few years now while they vacation or anything comes up. I’ve done the walking, the repetitive throws back and forth, and the quick check in during a storm just to make sure they haven’t chewed the house to pieces. I’m naturally an early bird so checking in earlier then my normal 6-3ish work schedule isn’t an issue and anytime after I’m usually free I have a fenced in run area for free running if they’d like. My porch is screened in so they can have the outside time without getting out.
