“Jessica was wonderful with Toffee! She took great care of my pup during our two days of walks, and her kind nature really shows. I’m very happy with her services and will definitely reach out to her again.”

About: I have had lots of felines through the years and really love taking care of them. I also love playing with dogs and taking them for long walks. They have lots of energy and love exploring as much as I do. 🐕 I have lots of time to care for and play with your felines, dogs and birds. It is the best time of the year to get outside and explore the area with dogs. We start the day by taking a walk and eating breakfast. Follow the pet's usual walking route unless otherwise instructed. I allow the dog to explore and sniff within safe limits. I provide exercise tailored to the dog's age, breed, and health. I avoid interactions with unknown dogs and people to prevent any potential conflicts.

“Elizabeth did a terrific job caring for my 2 dogs. She was on time for all walks and kept me informed about all details of her visits with pictures and description of what they had done. She is very neat and efficient. I would definitely recommend her for pet walking and care. Thank you again ??”

Jaylene took her time to win over Remi, who can be a little shy and skeptical upon meeting someone new. They went for a walk and Jaylene updated me with everything Remi did. Remi and I look forward to our next booking with Jaylene!”

“Maria was able to take our pups on walks on very short notice. She is very polite, was always on time and sent lots of pictures. Pups enjoyed their walks and always came back happy and tired! Highly recommend.”

If you don’t trust me, trust him!”

About: Pet Care Experience With a lifelong passion for animals, I have cultivated extensive experience caring for a diverse array of creatures, including dogs, cats, non-venomous snakes, ferrets, fish, and rodents, through both personal devotion and professional work. Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to animals of all kinds—whether they have scales, fur, fins, or feathers—and have spent years nurturing my own pets while honing my skills. My professional experience includes working at a pet store, where I strengthened my expertise in animal husbandry, handling, and care for a wide variety of species, from setting up habitats for reptiles to advising on proper nutrition for fish and rodents. This hands-on background has equipped me to manage everything from a playful puppy’s energy to a senior pet’s gentle requirements. I am adept at administering medications with precision and adhering to specific dietary needs, ensuring each pet receives tailored care that keeps them healthy and happy. What Sets Me Apart from Other Sitters What distinguishes me is my blend of personal passion and professional expertise, underpinned by my pet store experience, which has deepened my understanding of diverse animal needs. My special skills include puppy training, using positive reinforcement to teach basic commands and socialization, and senior pet care, where I provide gentle support, including mobility assistance and careful monitoring of health conditions. My work with exotic animals, such as snakes and ferrets, allows me to confidently manage their unique requirements, from habitat maintenance to specialized feeding. I’m available any day, any time, regardless of weather, prioritizing safety and comfort for both your pet and myself. This is just the beginning of my journey, and my enthusiasm to continue learning ensures your pets receive exceptional, compassionate care that goes beyond the ordinary. Schedule: How Pet Care Fits into My Daily or Weekly Routine Having recently been laid off, I have chosen to pursue my lifelong passion for animals by making pet care my full-time profession. This transition allows me to dedicate my entire schedule to providing exceptional care for your pets, ensuring flexibility and availability to meet their needs. My daily and weekly routine is fully centered around pet sitting, dog walking, and animal care, accommodating creatures of all kinds—whether they have scales, fur, fins, or feathers. I am available any day, any time, regardless of weather, to provide services such as dog walking, pet sitting, administering medications, or adhering to specific dietary requirements. My professional experience at a pet store, combined with my personal expertise with dogs, cats, non-venomous snakes, ferrets, fish, and rodents, equips me to handle diverse care needs with precision and compassion. Whether it’s daily walks for an energetic puppy, gentle care for a senior pet, or specialized attention for exotic animals, I structure my schedule to prioritize the safety, comfort, and happiness of every pet. This is just the beginning of my full-time journey in pet care, and I am committed to tailoring my routine to ensure your animals receive the dedicated, loving attention they deserve. Pet Sitting (In Your Home or Mine) In Your Home: When pet sitting in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining the pet’s familiar environment to minimize stress. I conduct a thorough pre-visit consultation to understand your pet’s routine, dietary needs, and any special requirements, such as medication administration, for which I am highly experienced. I adhere strictly to your instructions, ensuring precise feeding schedules and safe handling, particularly for exotic animals like snakes or ferrets that require specialized care. To ensure safety, I inspect the home for potential hazards (e.g., exposed wires or toxic plants) and secure any areas that could pose risks. For trust, I provide regular updates with photos or videos, so you know your pet is thriving. My COVID-19 precautions include wearing a mask during interactions when physical distancing is not possible, sanitizing hands before and after visits, and disinfecting any equipment used, such as feeding tools. In My Home: When caring for pets in my home, I create a clean, safe, and welcoming space tailored to their needs. My home is pet-proofed, with secure areas for different species—crates for dogs, enclosures for reptiles, or tanks for fish—to prevent accidents and ensure comfort. I maintain a calm environment, limiting stressors like loud noises, and provide separate spaces for animals that may not coexist well, such as rodents and cats. My experience with exotic and domestic animals allows me to set up appropriate habitats, such as temperature-controlled spaces for reptiles or cozy bedding for senior pets. I am adept at administering medications and meeting specific dietary needs, ensuring every pet feels at home. To build trust, I invite clients to visit my home beforehand and provide frequent updates during their pet’s stay. Dog Walking For dog walking, I am available any day, any time, regardless of weather, and prioritize safety and comfort for both your dog (or other walkable pets, like cats or ferrets) and myself. I use sturdy, well-fitted leashes and harnesses, inspecting them before each walk to ensure reliability. My routes are chosen to avoid hazards like busy roads, and I remain vigilant for environmental risks, such as extreme weather or aggressive animals. For puppies, I incorporate training techniques like positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior, while for senior dogs, I adjust pace and distance to suit their mobility. My pet store experience enhances my ability to read animal behavior, ensuring I respond promptly to signs of stress or discomfort. To maintain trust, I communicate with clients about their pet’s walk, noting any notable behaviors or incidents. COVID-19 safety measures include sanitizing equipment after each walk and maintaining physical distance during client interactions. Animal Care (General) Whether caring for exotic or domestic animals, I tailor my approach to each species’ unique needs. For example, I ensure proper habitat conditions for snakes (e.g., correct temperature and humidity), provide engaging activities for ferrets, and monitor water quality for fish. My pet store background has honed my skills in maintaining clean and safe enclosures, preventing health issues. I am meticulous in administering medications and following dietary restrictions, whether it’s hand-feeding a finicky cat or preparing specialized meals for a rodent. To foster trust, I keep clients informed with detailed updates and am available for questions at any time. My home and any client spaces I work in are kept clean and sanitized, with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols, such as hand hygiene and equipment disinfection, to protect both pets and clients.

I work per diem at the hospital in the emergency room. I make my own hours and am very flexible. I able to do drop ins to feed or walk, or board at my house with my two fur babies. They have since passed, and I now have a 3 year old Lab of my own. I pride myself on having experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes. I promise you’ll dog will be in good hands, as I know the unnerving feeling of leaving your pet with a stranger. As a teacher, I thankfully have the entire summer off. I’m available morning, day, night, and weekends! There is no time that is off limits. I will care for your dog however you request in your home, whether that be left out or crated. They will be walked or played with until their heart’s content!
