About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old, from the neighborhoods dog to good friends. I also breed French bulldogs and very knowledgeable on welping litters. I currently work remotely from home, so I'll be at home majority of the day with your fur baby to give them 100% of my attention. I prioritize pet care by meeting their needs. Daily picture and video updates are sent of your fur baby. Trust is key—I maintain a safe environment free of harmful substances. Additionally, I promote exercise and mental stimulation for their well-being.

About: Hi! I’m a dog lover and enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or sticking to their daily routine, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they need. I’m patient, dependable, and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands! I currently work overnight Sunday - Thursday. So I’ll have plenty of time in the day and on weekends to care for your fur baby! I have a fenced yard and a golden doodle who’s friendly and loves to play with other friendly dogs. We love going on walks and playing in the yard.

About: I’ve had dogs since the literal day I was born. I have 4 dogs at home (labradors and labradoodles), and one dog currently with me! Spending time with dogs is one of my favorite things. About: I have grown up with dogs for my entire life and I now have a cat of my own. I have taken care of friends and families animals in the past and I am very reliable, caring, and friendly. Animals bring me so much joy and I treat any animal as if it were my own. I am working in a salon four days out of the week but I will be available in the mornings and the evenings of any day to provide attention to your pet. Given that I have a cat of my own, I know how angry and hurt I would be if I put her in the care of someone else and she was neglected. With that being said, you can trust that I will not put you in that position! Animals are innocent and unable to communicate their needs. Not only will I provide the essentials, I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable!

Isabella is hands down the best pet sitter I’ve had the privilege of hiring. She was very flexible with my last minute needs, her communication is top tier, and If there was ever a problem (my fault) she was good at letting me know. My puppy is a big fan of her per the daily photos I received. She has won me over as a repeat client and I look forward to taking another trip without the stress of worrying about my puppy’s needs. Thank you again, Isabella! (:

About: I've been pet sitting for four years, caring for 15+ animals ranging from dogs and cats to fish. Whether it's overnight stays at your home or multiple drop-in visits throughout the day, I make sure your pet stays comfortable, safe, and on their routine while you're away. Your home and your pet will be treated with the same care I'd give my own. As a student with a flexible schedule, pet care fits seamlessly into my day. I have plenty of availability for drop-in visits throughout the day, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Your pet will never feel like a gap in someone's busy calendar. About: I have 3 dogs myself and I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 13. I’ve played with, walked, fed, bathed my neighbors, friends, and families dogs for years. I worked at a pet store for 2 years learned how to read and take care of dogs. I love all types of dogs! I work part-time in the evenings, so I have plenty of availability during the day for dog walks and drop-in visits. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week, and I’m committed to being punctual and making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they needs! I prioritize every pet’s safety and comfort by following the owner’s instructions closely, using secure leashes and harnesses during walks, and ensuring gates and doors are always properly closed. During home visits, I’ll provide fresh water, feed pets as directed, give them plenty of attention and exercise, and make sure the home is left exactly as I found it. I’ll also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs as long as I can remember. They were always my best friends and so loving. It just came natural to care for them. I give plenty of time for play, walks, and fun with your fur baby. I only work a few hours a day. I am available most weekends as well. I have a great neighborhood to take walks. The dog park is close by as well and easily accessible. Our family loves dogs so there would be lots of hugs and attention!

Anna was very sweet and patient with our three animals. One dog was a bit hesitant the first day but Anna was incredibly patient and got the dog to love her. She stayed to play with the dogs even if it went over the 30 mins that we paid for. The pictures she sent were adorable and we will definitely use her for our next trip.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
