We had a beach trip that kinda came out of nowhere with a 10~ week old puppy that also jumped in our lives unexpectedly and we needed somewhere for him to stay while we were gone! I had never used Rover before but I knew our puppy, Bubba, was not old enough to stay at a boarding facility so I thought I would try it out. Bubba had a blast and I always looked forward to the videos Whitney would send me of him playing with her sweet dog, Pearl! For anyone that has a young puppy, I highly recommend Whitney cause if he had been at a boarding facility he wouldn’t have been able to play and get all his puppy energy out!”

About: I have always had a fur baby in my life. My husband and I recently lost both of our dogs and cat. I love walking, playing, snuggling and all other activities with pups. I will work with you on what your needs are for your fur family member while you are away. My ultimate goal is to have my own full time doggie care. I live in a neighborhood that’s great for walking or going to dog park at Sokol Park. I provide pickup and drop-off within a 10 miles. Above all, I will treat your pet like a member of my family & love on them while you’re away. I’m a PreK teacher so I’m free during the summer and most holidays. Even during the school year I am still able to stay at a client’s house if pet can be let alone during the day. My husband works from home so your pet will have someone with them during the day. However, your pet must not be very needy so that it doesn’t interfere with his work. He does take several breaks and your pet will have availability to be outside several times a day. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. About: Growing up on a farm I've had a lot of experience with multitudes of different animals. I have a genuine love for all fur babies (and those without fur). I have a lot of love and time to give to any baby needing to be watched by someone who will be attentive and loving. I play and talk and really spend time with the babies I watch. About: I got my first family dog at the age of 12 and he was a 100 pound chocolate Labrador named Max. When I moved to Germany, I was not allowed to take him so he currently lives with my brother. After moving back to the US, I got my own toy poodle at the age of 16 named Eymber and was completely responsible for her. About: I can remember every pet I’ve ever encountered. My family owns a small farm in Alabama, and I have been taking care of animals my entire life. Living in the city, I miss the animals, and I think this is a good way to help others while getting to play with and take care of your babies. <3 I’m a freelance writer and actress, so I’m home A LOT. I need a companion just as much as your pet when you’re out of town/working/cannot give the attention they require! :) There’s a courtyard here that is fenced in, but I’d prefer to walk pets over to Queens City park for a little nature. Pet babies always have water, iced when it’s hot out, and I recommend bringing their favorite toys! I like to play and snuggle, so hopefully they won’t miss you too much. Also, bring their snacks!!!
