About: I have grown up with dogs and cats from a young age. Throughout my life, I have had dogs ranging in size from a Yorkie to a Great Pyrenees. I have also had cats of all different temperaments, from shy and particular to loving and outgoing. I have further pet care experience from helping my parents foster many puppies and kittens over the last eight years. I also worked for a vet’s office for three years, cleaning up, feeding the animals, and taking them for walks. I love all pets and I have enough experience to take care of them well! I am a senior at the University of Alabama and I only have one-two classes a day, so that leaves me plenty of time to care for your pets! I can check on them in the morning, late afternoon, or evening! Whenever taking care of your pets, I will make sure all the necessary doors are shut and locked when leaving to avoid escapes. I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. I’m home most of the time so there’s constant supervision. I have a fenced yard and extra bedrooms to offer a quiet space if your pet prefers to be away from the pack. Otherwise, I allow the animals in the house to nap, roam, and play wherever they'd like. My dogs are pretty social, they get along well with others and enjoy the dog park. My cats are also used to being around dogs and are pretty relaxed about it.
