About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals and hard work. I have worked in veterinary clinics as a kennel attendant and now a veterinary assistant for over 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I'm comfortable caring for elderly and sick pets as well as giving medications. I live and work in the Liberty MO area. I am an early morning person and can do early morning drop in visits and walks before 7 am (including weekends and holidays). I typically get my lunch break between 12-2 pm. I can come and do a drop in visit or do a short walk over my break. Evenings are a possibility but are less flexible and open. I can offer enrichment with treats, playtime and exercise. I like a good cuddle session as well as a hyper wrestling match, or active fetch game. I enjoy being out in God's creation and am open to more nature based walks if you have an active curious pup (like my own dog). I think cats should also be enriched and loved. I like playing games with cats and helping them feel comfortable and spoiled. I have owned a lizard of my own and am not afraid of reptiles or rodents. I think exotic pets need enrichment, entertainment, and love as well.

About: I treat every pet like they are my own and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and care. I also keep the home clean and respect the owner’s instructions for routines, medications, crate schedules, or any special needs. I understand that every pet is different, so I adjust my care based on their personality and energy level. Some pets need extra play and activity, while others need a calm environment and patience. I also make communication a priority by sending updates and pictures so owners feel confident and connected while they are away.

“WOW! LAURA was amazing! First of all, I booked with a different Rover person who had to cancel last minute and Laura stepped up without hesitation. That took a ton of stress off of me. Second, she was so sweet with my babies and took amazing pictures while we were away which made me feel better while we were gone. She went above and beyond and even printed them out and had them waiting for us when we came home! IT WAS THE SWEETEST TOUCH EVER! I hate to leave my babies at home but when I do I will absolutely get in touch with Laura again! She was the best!”

About: I'm a special education teacher excited for the opportunity to care for canine, feline, and other pet babies! I'm the proud parent of two large breed dogs, ages 8 & 9, both adopted from a local shelter, and a senior cat. We enjoy going on walks, tossing around the tennis ball, and sharing lots of snuggles. I have been pet sitting for the last two summers for family & friends, and am looking forward to the opportunity to spend time with other pets in the community 🐾 As a public school employee, I have a fairly flexible schedule, with weekend and evening availability.
