About: I loved animals ever since I was a kid and raised and trained my dog Zephyr since he was a year old. I adore all animals care for two rodents of my own named Orchid and Meadow. I often petsit for my family and friends and have taken care of a wide variety of animals. I've taken care of pets of all ages from puppies to my senior dog who currently has from dementia. I am very patient and licensed CNA so I know how to handle a mess. I am a freshman in college though my classes are very light. I'm free after 9am on Mondays and Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm free after 12:15 though I can come in earlier anytime before 9, Fridays can vary for me but I'm typically free after 9-10 am though sometimes if I have an exam it might be an hour or so later though I can always make arrangements if necessary. I care for pets by following their routine, spending lots of time with them, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m respectful of my client's homes and always clean up after the pets and leave everything as I found it. I After a procedure my dog needed to be crate trained so I know how to handle that.
About: Hi! I’m Hailey, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I have experience with puppy training and am trained in dog CPR. As a former collegiate athlete, I’m also happy to keep up with even the most energetic pups! My priority is making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. Additionally, I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent routine for pets, so I ensure that their feeding and exercise schedules align with their usual habits. Rest assured, your furry companions will receive dedicated care and supervision, as I am always present and ready to meet their needs. The way I care for pets in my home or a client's home depends on the specific service being provided. Here are a few scenarios: In the client's home: Pet Sitting: When providing pet sitting services at a client's home, I make sure to replicate the pet's daily routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding them according to their usual schedule, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs for walks, and engaging in playtime or exercise based on their specific needs. I also offer companionship and affection to help reduce any separation anxiety they may experience. Drop-in Visits: During drop-in visits, I visit the client's home at scheduled times to check on their pets. I ensure they have food and water, clean litter boxes, let dogs out for bathroom breaks, and spend quality time with them, offering play and affection. Dog Walking: For dog walking services, I take the dogs on stimulating walks to provide exercise, mental stimulation, and an opportunity for bathroom breaks. I follow any instructions regarding route preferences, leash handling, or specific behavioral considerations. Regardless of the service provided, the well-being, safety, and happiness of the pets are my top priorities. I strive to create a comfortable and nurturing environment, maintain their regular routines, and shower them with love and attention, just as their owners would.
About: I have taken care of animals of many shapes and sizes throughout my life, from large dogs to kittens. I also have volunteer experience at KC Pet Project. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Crystal Lakes
Sierra was so great with my cats - Oscar and Sydney - who are in different life stages, have different levels of activity, and want different affection and attention. Her communication from before the meet and greet, through each daily visits, and after the final visit was wonderful. The daily Rover update cards I received had full details of her visits and multiple pictures, so I never wondered how each cat was doing. We just moved to Excelsior Springs, and both my husband and I had to travel out of town for work unexpectedly. Sierra made the process of finding a new pet sitter a smooth process, and was very flexible with our short notice, accommodating a meet and greet in little time - making us feel comfortable that are cats were in good hands! Thank you, Sierra!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
