About: Animal-lover who started volunteering with rescues over a decade ago. Experienced with dogs, including reactive dogs(I have one of my own), cats, birds, and various other pets. Feel free to share the training commands you'd like to work on with your pet and I will try to work them in where I can during my visit. I will treat your pets like my own(my dog is incredibly loved and spoiled) Currently working freelance so my schedule is flexible. About: I’ve had pets my whole life and have always been the one friends and family rely on to care for them! I currently have three dogs and two cats, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities and breeds. I truly love spending time with animals and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m an esthetician with a very flexible schedule, so caring for pets fits easily into my day-to-day life! I already spend my time caring for my own pets, and I genuinely love giving animals extra attention, playtime, and extra love while their owners are away. I always try to keep pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine and giving them lots of attention, patience, and care. In both my home and a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of potty breaks or litter box care, playtime, exercise, and lots of affection. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level to help them feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away.

About: I have live and taken care of my own pets since I was 15 years old. I have experience with pitbulls, Shepard's, labs, corgis, and cats. I have three cats of my own right now, but have had dogs in the past Recently I have branched out and started helping my friends take care of their animals while we are one different shifts. I work at NKCH 3 days a week with rotating 12 hour day shifts. One week is Monday through Wednesday and the next week is Wednesday through Friday. I do pick up at Truman Medical Center for 8 hours, but will have those days blocked off. I love playing with animals in their own environment so they are more comfortable with the surrounding environment with different outside factors in a new area. Walks will be in their neighborhood.

About: As a proud pet owner and animal lover of almost 20 years, I will treat and care for your pets as if they were my own. I have grown up around all different sorts of animals my entire life, and I feel as though it's time to invest all of that experience and time into other pets. I am capable of feeding, house sitting, dog and cat sitting, dog walking, and understanding pet queues. I am very enthusiastic, sensitive, calm, and reliable. About: I’ve also had guinea pigs and rabbits and birds and goats. I love all animals and am happy to care for them no matter what shape or size. They all deserve love and attention and as long as I have solid instructions then I got it covered and they’ll feel like they’re my own babies. I’m currently unemployed. I’m getting certified to sell insurance and am home. I have two children in pre school and elementary school and the extra money would help a lot in this transitional period. I can happily come to your home and give your animals all the love they need. I’m in an apartment so coming to my home isn’t available currently but I can do check-ins or extended stays at your home depending on what you need.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: I have hands on, everyday experience caring for four Golden Retrievers of my own. Managing a multi dog household has given me skills in canine schedule structure, supervision, and understanding of different personalities and energy levels. I also have experience caring for infant puppies, including feeding schedules, potty training foundations, crate introduction, and the patience that can sometimes be needed during those important early development stages. I follow all feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise routines, and any specific instructions closely to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also reinforcing any training or household rules you have in place. I’m respectful of your home, keep everything clean and organized, and always send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
