We hired Sierra for housesitting on Memorial Day weekend and she took care of our 80 pound labrador pitbull mix and our four month old Connie Corso puppy who is already over 50lbs and super energetic. She did a great job with both of them. We got home after 4 days and the house was clean, the dogs were happy, and the yard was clean as well. We enjoyed having her stay at our house and felt that our dogs were safe and well taken care of. We will definitely engage Sierra’s services again. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!

About: I love dogs! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and started house sitting and dog sitting while I was in high school. I have a black lab mix named Lilo who is 9 years old and she loves play dates! I also have some experience with training dogs so I’m very patient and caring towards dogs of all ages and experiences! I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes too. I’ve taken care of a mastiff and a Yorkie together all in the same timeframe! I love going to the dog park with my dog and going on walks through parks. No matter what your dog likes to do, we will have fun doing it! Free after 5 or 6 each day and pretty flexible during any Friday! Willing to walk daily, drop in, go to dog parks, anything you may need. I take my girl on morning and evening walks to get her energy out! I would do the same with any dog staying with us.

About: I have always been surrounded by dog, whether it was my own or taking care of others. I believe that dogs deserve as much love as they give us. I am a homebody, but that means that I'll be more available to hang out with your dog for walks or trips to the park. I live in a townhouse apartment, which means that I have experience with walking dogs around non-fenced areas. This also means I will be observant if you do have a fenced area.

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs since I was 5, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. I’m comfortable with their daily care, routines, and different personalities. I also understand pet body language and know how important it is to recognize when a pet is happy, nervous, uncomfortable or just needs some space. I’m patient, attentive and will treat your pets with the same love and care I give my own. I currently work full time, so my availability is more limited during my regular work schedule. However, my workplace will be temporarily closing for about a month in October, which will give me much more flexibility and availability to care for pets during that time. I’m happy to work with owners to find times that fit both of our schedules. I plan to care for pets in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable and in their familiar environment. I’ll follow their normal routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any other care instructions provided by their owner. I’ll also give them plenty of attention, patience, and affection while make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have owned Rottweilers and Bulldogs that have become angels that have enriched/changed my life. The unconditional love they provide allows us all to feel LOVED and allows our hearts to sing. They fill the LOVE tanks without any hidden agendas! We have recently relocated to Durham from Washington and currently have the time to explore the freedom, flexibility and FUN with pet sitting with Rover. I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

About: My experience begins with caring for my own pets and my family's pets. I owned 2 female Lionhead rabbits as a child who I still reminisce about to this day. During this time I also afforded the opportunity to care for a close friend's male Holland Lop rabbit! In addition to this, my parents had their own chickens that I adored; I cleaned their coop, fed them daily, and would pet them for hours. My experience with dogs is quite extensive: I've washed, walked, and administered medication for elderly dogs as well as young ones, cared for ones with anxiety, played with energetic farm dogs for hours, walked strong ones who pull at the sight of any person & animal, and walked ones who can't get close to other people & animals. My experience with cats include feral, semi feral, and house cats. I've repeatedly given overnight care for 7 semi-feral cats who's daily feeding schedule was strict & specific, one of whom required medication. In that same house was an elderly dog who had his own, separate, regimented, feeding & walking times (and demanded lots of love that I was happy to give!) Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle as someone who enjoys spending time with animals. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day, whether that means multiple daily visits, overnight stays, or extended drop-in sessions. I prioritize reliability and punctuality, understanding that pets thrive on routine and consistency! I'm happy to accommodate early morning or late evening visits, and I always provide photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and well-cared for. My availability is generally open throughout the week, and I'm comfortable committing to both short-term and longer-term bookings. I build my schedule around your pet's needs, not the other way around. Safety and trust are my top priorities in every pet care situation. In your home, I treat your space with the utmost respect: cleaning up after myself, securing doors and gates, following your specific instructions carefully, and maintaining your pet's established routines to minimize stress and uphold any training that has already been given to your pet(s). I'm attentive to potential hazards and ensure pets are supervised appropriately based on their temperament and needs. I follow all feeding guidelines precisely, administer medications as directed, and watch closely for any changes in behavior or health that might need attention. Due to my training as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for human, I keep detailed notes and communicate openly with pet parents, sending regular updates and photos. Whether caring for pets in your home or mine, I create a calm, secure environment where animals feel comfortable and safe. For pets staying in my home (if applicable), I ensure a pet-proofed space with separate areas for different animals if needed, and I never leave pets unsupervised in potentially stressful situations. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my first concern.

About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. I have a laid back personality and dogs tend to take to me immediately or at least stay true to their breeds. Chow Chow was my brother-in-law's dog who barked at me a good 3-4 times before she knew I wasn't a total stranger. Bothered me none.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, spiders, snakes and even children lol for family and friends since I was 13! I’m currently working full-time Monday thru Friday onsite but can be very flexible! I am available in the mornings until 9:00am and available after 3:30pm. I have an open schedule on weekends! We stay in a gated apartment complex and have multiple neighborhoods and a dog park around for a variety of walking paths and adventures! We have a bengal cat who loves outside so we walk her almost every day, she is great with the dogs and children. I am all about making sure the pet owner is comfortable with their pet staying with us. I stay on the schedule and rules provided by the pet owner. I am punctual and always aware of my surroundings.
