“Sierra watched out senior dog at our house while we were away and did a great job. She went out of her way for meet and greets before we left, and sent daily updates and pictures while we were away. The house looked just as we had left it and our dog was happy and well!”

“We were so excited to find Ashley! She lives very close to us and was available to house sit/pet sit for the week we were out of town. We have a high energy dog & cat that we just didn't feel comfortable boarding for a whole week. This is our first time having someone stay at our home to pet sit. Ashley made it a very comfortable experience for all involved. We received photos and updates on a regular basis and Ashley didn't seem to mind our sending messages from time to time checking in. You know how nervous absent pet owners can be!!! ;) We won't hesitate to have Ashley pet sit again!”

“Teresa was so wonderful and my fur babies loved her! She was great at sending daily updates and photos during her stay too which was great. Highly recommend Teresa and will certainly use her in the future for pet sitting/walking needs!! Thanks Teresa for the wonderful service so we could enjoy our wedding!!”

About: I’ve been an animal keeper for the last 3-4 years working with various exotic wildlife and am currently the Vet Tech/Keeper for (mostly) lemurs. I have great experience and knowledge working with animals (including domestic pets). I volunteered at my local animal shelter working with dogs and cats for many years, doing routine tasks such as feeding, cleaning, bathing, and walking. Apart from basic necessities like feeding and cleaning, I also have great experience preparing and administering medications and am confident in my abilities to handle exceptional dogs and cats that may need more complex care. Outside of my work experience, I have my own personal experience caring for my family pets, including dogs, cats, many rodents, and now chickens. Since high school I have frequently pet sat for friends and acquaintances with a wide range of pets including dogs, cats, lizards, fish, and horses. I am available in the mornings most weekdays, with lesser availability on the weekends. My availability can be flexible upon notice. On weekends right now, I am available only in the late afternoon and evenings. Am only looking to care for pets at the client’s house due to my own housing and pet situation. I’ve cared for pets in this context before and first and foremost, I respect people’s property and homes and can be trusted to be professional and clean. I am flexible to work accordingly with the client’s preferences in regard to how they their pets need to be cared for.
“Shannon was amazing!! She took such great care of Rocket while we were away, it made the trip so much more enjoyable knowing he was in such great hands. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Makayley was wonderful. She stayed with our two dogs while we were in Africa for 10 days and kept us updated continuously with pictures and commentary. We had never left them before, so we were understandably worried about how they would do without us. After the second day, we stopped worrying because Makayley provided them with all the love and attention that we provide ourselves. We will use Makayley's services again and again.”

“Taylor took great care of our headstrong and frisky 2yr old lab, Bo. We appreciated the daily updates and her willingness to administer his ear meds -not an easy task. We’re grateful to know we have someone we trust and rely on who truly loves dogs.”

“Mackenzie was a fantastic house sitter!! She spent lots of time with my pets, communicated well, and went above and beyond to watch my home while I was traveling. Would recommend her in a heartbeat. Knowing my pets were taken care of allowed me to relax and enjoy vacation more!”

“Meredith was great! She met them a couple of times before we left, which really helped our older dog with anxiety. She connected so well with the pups. She kept us informed with pictures and videos, so we knew our pups were in good hands. She treated our home with care, too, which was appreciated. We would happily book with Meredith again!”

About: I have two years of professional pet and house sitting experience at this time, and a lifetime of care for my own animals and those of friends and neighbors - beloved dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, ducks. I love them all - domestic and wild, flying, fishy and furry. I'm a semi-retired educator and artist, reimagining my life now that my children are grown and flown. I love the way pet and house sitting fits the rhythm of my days, and I especially love the companionship, the sweetness and joy I receive from working with all the critters. I am particularly skilled with anxious animals. I am happy to accommodate medications and special diets and routines. I'm a reliable, available, joyful human and a solid, clear communicator, easy to reach with prompt responses via text or email. This is my main thing, not a side hustle. I think animals generally do better in their own homes. I'm honored to provide safety and comfort and a measure of normalcy when things feel upside down while their people are away. I prefer longer stays of three days or more so I can settle in with your critters; I am willing to drive longer distances for longer stays. And I’m more than happy to pop by for a weekend! I’m willing to do short-notice gigs if I’m available so don’t hesitate to ask. I enjoy new places, new experiences and new faces. I look forward to meeting you and your precious ones. I will respect your home and privacy. I consider a person's home their sacred sanctuary and I will treat your space with thoughtful, loving care. I have decades of experience in hospitality at my family's rental cabins in northern Michigan. I will take care of your space as well as I take care of your critters.

“We were so grateful to have Stefanija stay at our home and watch our two pups while we were gone for a whole week. She was incredibly trustworthy, diligent, and respectful. She asked if she could have a 2 friends join her one evening and was very kind to ask in advance. She checked in regularly, sent photos and left our house clean. We will absolutely ask her to stay again!”

“Oh my goodness, I'm not sure even where to begin with this five star review. Denise took such good care of my two pups while I was away visiting family. I returned to happy, healthy, and very pleased puppies, the best I could ask for. And she took good care of my home so that everything was perfect when I returned late evening. I definitely want her to return!!”

“Kat was an amazing sitter for our home and for our highly anxious pup! She sent lots of photos and updates, which made our first time leaving our newly adopted (& high separation anxiety) pup feel much easier. She even took her for a car ride and a walk around a new part of town. She followed our directions and provided high quality care, love and companionship for our girl. We look forward to using Kat again in the future!”

“Meg was awesome. Both of our cats and our dog immediately gravitated towards her. She left the house so clean it was wonderful to come home to. The pets were also nice and calm when we got home indicating they were very well taken care of while we were out of town. We told Meg that she could take our dog on a drive away from our apartment for extra enrichment and she went out of her way to do that! She genuinely loved our pets and they loved her right back.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Kalie during a recent work trip! Kalie was reliable, communicative, and kind. She provided updates on the dogs (with pictures!) and left the house spotless. I am so pleased with her services and we will absolutely have her back soon. I highly recommend Kalie!”

We had an amazing experience with Caitlin! She stayed at our home for five nights to care for our two dogs, and everything went perfectly. The dogs were happy, well cared for, and clearly loved the extra attention. The house was spotless when we got back, just as we left it. Caitlin was reliable, communicative, and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely recommend her and hope to have her sit for us again in the future!
