About: Due to high demand and in fairness to my current customer base, I am not able to take on any new dogs at this time. My open calendar dates will be primarily for my past and frequent customers. I have had 100's of dogs come through my front door for dog boarding/day care. I am sure that most pet owners wonder if their dog is sad after they leave them while on a trip. From my observation they seem very happy. Don't get me wrong, they are always happy to see their parents upon return, but I make sure that they feel right at home and help them forget they are elsewhere. I know what it is like to go on a trip and worry about a pet, which is why I keep the parents updated with pics while away. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and the bed if they wish. I've been fortunate to have had so many happy pets stay over, and I am lucky to have a dog that is very laid back and gets along really well with others. I do focus on smaller breeds because I don't have a yard; I also want everyone to be about the same size so that no one will feel intimidated. If you have a larger dog (over 25 lbs), please let me know to see if I can accommodate them. Also, please let me know if you have a dog that is not fixed or neutered. Since I often have several dogs here at a time, I need to know if that could be an issue. Some of the pics that are displayed with larger breeds are from the Collie and Sheltie rescue group. I normally strive to keep only three at a time, so all get plenty of attention. While away on your travels, do not worry... Your furry friend is made to feel right at home. I am normally home during the day, and since this is a two-person household, there is usually someone here the majority of the time. Sometimes I leave for about an hour or two. I live in a two-bedroom condominium with some fenced in outdoor space. This is where I normally let them go for a break. They have access to every room except for the living room.
