Experience as a Pet Owner I've been around pets my entire life, so I'm well versed in all of the good, the bad, and the smelly parts of animal care. Apart from caring for our family pets growing up, I am overjoyed to have spent the last 10 years loving & caring for my adorable Border Collie mix, Cedar (Rest in Peace 2/14/25 <3). 2. Personalized Attention and Care for Special Needs Animals As someone who previously owned an animal with special needs, I know how difficult it can be to trust a caretaker with things such as medication administration. I can cater to animals of any age and lifestyle. This includes those that require special attention and routines, such as dietary restrictions, exercise requirements, and reactive-dog friendly activities. I can also accommodate animals of all shapes and sizes! This includes XL dog breeds, whom I have a very special place in my heart for. Life is a lot quieter recently without a pet companion in my life, so I'm here to not only assist you, but also get back to what I doing enjoy the most: spending time with animals! I'm a stay-at-home partner, which means that I have a ton of flexibility! I'm available for pet services every day of the week, including weekends. I will follow the same protocols, needs, and routines that you have for your home and animals while walking, dropping in, and housesitting. This includes any pre-determined feeding, walking, and playtime schedules that you may have.

About: I’ve been taking care of my dogs for over 20 years and now in addition to the family cat and snakes. We are ready to host your dog for a fun visit. As a stay-at-home dad I’m around the majority of the day to keep a good eye on your loved ones. They will be well catered for and loved until you come back to get them! I have a big fenced backyard for them run around and play in. We have a friendly dog (& cat) to keep them extra company during their stay.

About: I am a dog lover with two dogs of my own. I work from home and have flexibility in my schedule to be able to visit during the day, or can have your dog at my house if they love to socialize! I have experience with high energy and dogs that require a lot of affection/attention. We have 52 acres and will take them on adventures if they like that, otherwise have a 1 story home that is comfortable and welcoming to dogs of all ages! I work full time but work from home, so have some flexibility in my schedule to do home visits during the day, and can do up to 4 visits a day if needed. I also am able to have your dog at my house, where they will have 50 acres for play time and walks! I live in a pretty secluded spot with two fur babies to keep your dog company. We have 50 acres where your dog will always be supervised, but can run and play and get all the exercise he/she needs. There is hardly any traffic at all on our private road. Our house is one level for any senior or disabled dogs who can’t handle stairs well.

“I contacted Marissa in an emergency situation with little time since I had to go out of town for my grandmother’s funeral and the sitter we had set up a week before never replied back to me once it got closer to confirm. Marissa did a wonderful job watching our 14 year-old husky mix Bella while I was out of town and my husband was working during the day and juggling a house project. She took extra care with our older dog who has some mobility issues. Marissa even incorporated an adventure during one of Bella’s days and pictures were sent to us. I’d certainly ask Marissa to watch Bella again in the future! Bella had a great time!”
