“Micaela was amazing with my 16 year old beagle. She was so patient with him and able to take care of his special needs. She even gave him a heating pad under his bed to help with his old dog aches and pains. He was with her for ten days and was so well loved and taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“I would give Abby 10 stars if I could. She took wonderful care of Dexter while we explored the Montrose/Ridgway/Ouray area. She sent photo updates even when she didn't have to, and puppers had a brilliant time. When we went to pick him up, we noticed that she was walking our five month old puppy (secure area) sans leash, and was happily and obediently following along. The woman is a dog whisperer and the real deal!”

About: I provide more than basic dog sitting—I tailor care to each dog’s age and needs. I have experience with puppies (reinforcing potty training, routines, and basic commands) and senior dogs (gentle care, medication support, and comfort monitoring). I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and follow your dog’s routine closely. Most importantly, I treat every dog like my own and keep you updated so you have peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, play, and check-ins. I’m consistent with routines, whether that’s early mornings, midday visits, or evening care, and I make time for updates and communication. Caring for pets isn’t an add-on for me—it’s a priority I build my week around. I provide attentive, routine-based care in both my home and my client’s home, depending on what works best for the pet. In my home, I create a calm, safe environment with consistent feeding schedules, regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of supervised play and attention. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care like medications or training reinforcement. I also keep your home tidy and provide regular updates so you know your pet is safe and happy.
About: I love my own cats, dogs and reptiles of all ages in my household! I will absolutely love your animals as our own 💕💕 I have been in Montrose for 8 years. I always go home during lunch to let our dogs out. My lunch varies. Either I go home 11-12, 12-1 or 1-2. I usually have holidays off. My dogs are kennel trained. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run around. My cats and dogs are friendly and vaccinated. My cats are fixed, our male dogs are not. One of my cats is blind.
About: I only take one or two clients at a time which gives me the ability to take them hiking and on walks in public spaces. Your dogs are a part of our family and home. I provide air tags for their time here so you can track them. Photos and videos provided daily. I am recently retired and available to give your dog(s) a lot of love and attention. I walk and hike daily and can exercise your pet to your liking. I have a 6 ft fence for the back yard. I also have an indoor/outdoor dog run and crates depending on your needs. I have two senior “host” dogs of our own. I put AirTags on guest dogs for additional security. I also share the AirTags with clients so they can enjoy tracking their dogs.
“She did great my dog loved it there and she takes the dogs on a hike and they run and play and have so much fun. Definitely will be reaching out to her again on my next travel!”

“Kate was so fantastic! She sent me many updates to assure me that my dog Kubo was having the best time with her sweet dog and daughter. She was also really flexible and kind about a later pickup time. I would truly love to have Kubo stay with her again!”

“Summer is awesome! Rudy was not only cared for but loved and mentally stimulated with walks and activities. I highly recommend Summer and her dog if you need care in Delta.”

About: I have grown up with all kinds of pups…border collies, black mouth currs, aussies, heelers…I currently have a pitbull and a golden retriever myself who I love very much. I also have a cat who is my absolute world. I was taught pet responsibility at a very young age, and also showed steers in 4h, which I feel are just very large dogs. I currently work full time, but I do work from home Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday at my home in Delta. Tuesday’s and Fridays, I am in Montrose. The weekends are pretty open for me, but if at all possible, please contact in advance just in case I am busy! I like to give lots of attention to your pets as well as my own. Lots of playtime for my golden (my pit is an old lady, so she just likes to be lazy).
About: I’ve been taking care of my dogs for over 20 years and now in addition to the family cat and snakes. We are ready to host your dog for a fun visit. As a stay-at-home dad I’m around the majority of the day to keep a good eye on your loved ones. They will be well catered for and loved until you come back to get them! I have a big fenced backyard for them run around and play in. We have a friendly dog (& cat) to keep them extra company during their stay.

Montrose dog parents share their Rover experiences
Leah is amazing! Very quick to respond to our (last minute) request to watch our pup, and really took the time to make sure that he was comfortable in their space before we left. I felt totally comfortable leaving him with Leah, and she was great about sending updates. 10/10 would rebook!
