Claire's life-long love for animals led her to becoming a full-time caretaker for dogs. With 24 years experience under her belt, Claire can tackle any situation involving the love and security of her furry companions. She began freelance pet sitting in 2002 and in 2010 began working for doggie day care companies that taught her practical skills for professional dog sitting world. In 2016, she took all her knowledge and built herself a business on Rover.com. She then established herself as a go-to dog sitter in Northern Virginia before relocating to the Front Range. Having cared for countless dogs of all personalities, there's nothing that scares her away from providing the ultimate experience that every dog deserves. Claire embraces all that Colorado has to offer, so while you are off enjoying your vacation, your pup can also enjoy a vacation in the great outdoors! In addition to full time dog sitting, Claire is also a photographer, so you can stay connected with awesome picture updates while you are away! Claire's partner Dru will also be around full time to help with the needs of your pup! Dru has trained and been around large dogs his whole life and has nothing but love to give!! There may be times when Claire has a gig, that Dru will be home to continue care for your pup, and may sometimes be the hand off person when you pick up or drop off your fur friend. Claire guarantees nothing but client satisfaction with this care team! *Rover does take out a fee for advertising, so tips are appreciated :)

Wow! So grateful for Claire and Dru! This was our first extended stay anywhere. These two put me at ease - graciously accommodating our travel schedule, somewhat elaborate feeding routine, and the overall effort it takes to run my boisterous pups. They put in the extra energy to provide them with enrichment and adventure, attuning to their unique personalities and keeping them safe and happy. Not to mention the professional grade photo updates!
Claire is amazing! She truly understands the behavior and needs of different breeds and adapts to it. We always feel great knowing our dog is in good hands with her!

Dru and Claire were so great with Tayvs! You can tell they have a lot of knowledge about dogs, different personalities of breeds, and how to give the best care for each dog. They were so kind and flexible when we had changes to traveling plans as well. We will definitely be using them again!
Nova always loves her stays with Claire! Great communication and reliability with me as the owner and I know my pup gets lots of love, play and attention.

Schedule
As a full-time photographer, I am home during the week working on projects, giving me ample opportunity to care for a few puppers and give both of us plenty of outside time and exercise breaks! I am home most weekends as well, but I often work 6-8 hour events, so those days are blocked off for day care, but will still accept boarding through those days as my roommates are happy to help out when needed! * Any pickups after 12pm will incur a half day charge or daycare charge depending on time of pickup*

I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and sniff in! My neighborhood has plenty of walking trails and is located next to a lake, so exercise is never an issue when your pup is in my care! My house has 1 resident cat and 3 professional snugglers/playmates, so your dog will never be bored or lonely!

I love giving your dog all the attention and love they need, from snuggles while I'm working, to mentally and physically stimulated activities such as fetch in the backyard, or sniffing all the smells in my neighborhood!
