I grew up on a ranch in Southern Colorado, where my love for animals began. I am passionate about caring for animals and making them feel loved and comfortable. I have helped find animals their forever homes, volunteered at shelters and am a member of many rescue groups. I have experience caring for puppies to seniors, some that need extra help walking, extra affection due to stress/anxiety and some who are incontinent and need doggy diapers, or who have special needs. I have experience in medication administration and am knowledgeable about all dog stages of life. My home is clean, quiet and relaxing. Your dogs happiness and safety while staying with me is my number one priority.

Micaela was absolutely phenomenal with our two dogs. We had never left them overnight with anyone outside of our family, so we were understandably nervous, but she completely put us at ease. She was very thorough about sticking to their routines, and the check-in photos and texts helped ease our concerns from the moment we left. Our dogs were clearly happy and comfortable with her and her family. We’ve definitely found our go-to sitter moving forward.
Our pups had a great time! Micaela sent us pictures throughout our trip and had great communication.

As a stay at home mom, I can guarantee you peace of mind in knowing that your pets will get a lot of attention, care and love. Please let me know what you and your pet's needs are, and I will do my best to accommodate.

Safety, trust & environment
As a life long pet owner, your pet will be just as spoiled as mine. They will be able to roam the house freely, are allowed on furniture and always have fresh water. I can provide a lickimat (a grooved mat that encourages the act of licking) that is topped with all natural, organic peanut butter or organic pumpkin to keep your pup satisfied and entertained. I will strictly follow pet owner instructions.

A typical day
I will take your dog on walks, play ball, and interact with them. I have plenty of fun toys, dog puzzles and a kiddy pool for them to play in.
