“This lady is wonderful! On short notice she kept coming to our home too check on and to feed our fur babies. Our shy puppy even warmed up to her demanding more attention than her older sister. We will use this wonderful lady again because she cares.”

About: I am very easy going and let the pet tell me what their needs are. I dont push myself on them. I wait for them to get used to my smells so they won't be stressed by a new person. I do work full time but am able to work from home. Because of this my schedule is flexible and I can take breaks when needed to run errands and such. My home is fenced and my dogs are let out frequently as well as being taken for walks daily. My cats and dogs get frequent treats and they always have a lap to lay on.
“Sally was great at sending pictures and reporting after each tip. This is the second time we have used her services. She is very professional. I would definitely recommend her.”

“As always, she was OUTSTANDING, and my cat loves her 🥰 And as a bonus, we found out that Cilla is quite wary of babies. The way my Cilla was eyeing that baby carrier like “Brother eww, what is that thing?? 😒😳”. Just Priceless 🤣🤣”

About: I worked as a veterinary technician for 8 years. Prior to that I worked in shelters and humane societies. I have a passion for animals, but unfortunately my new career is not so animal-based. I miss working with animals daily and it would be an honor to take care of yours. I have extensive knowledge in animal behavior, veterinary care and CPR. You have a peace of mind when your pets are with me. I will diligently look after them, provide necessary emergent care if needed and don't mind giving veterinary advice. I love cats just as equally as I love dogs. If agreed upon I will do nail trimmings, anal gland expressions or some light grooming duties for an additional charge (but discounted from your vet's prices!). I work Monday through Friday but telework two days per week giving me flexibility to care for your pets during the week and on weekends. I will be attentive to your pets in your home while respecting your space and theirs. I will ensure your pets routine is kept while you are away.

This routine and environment helps to build trust and a safe haven for them.
“After my first meeting with Morgan, I was totally at ease with her taking care of Hank and Dolly Purrton! The daily check-ins and the pictures were amazing. I had to extend my trip to NYC because I was snowed in! Morgan did not hesitate to tell me she would continue to take care of my babies until I could return. Thank Heaven for amazing women like Morgan!”
“Fabulous dog sitter! She communicated with me daily, sent me pictures of the dogs and accommodated to last minute changes and concerns I had. Superb! Would recommend to every dog parent out there.”

“Samantha was an amazing drop in visitor for our two cats! She was extremely responsive to texts/chats and was very communicative - which is comforting when you’re so far from your fur babies!! We will be booking again when we go out of town!”

“Caty has cared for my ornery kitty multiple times now, and she is great. She is so patient that she finally got my cat, who doesn't like anyone, to show some affection! I can only hope Caty is available to care for my kitty everytime!”

“Hannah was great to work with! She was prompt, had great communication, and took excellent care of our dog. She left notes and multiple photos during each drop in. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life; ranging from different ages and breeds. I understand the responsibility of taking care of someone else’s pet as I would only want the best for my own childhood animals. I’m an active person outdoors so I’m not afraid of walks; whether that’s downtown or on a hiking trail. I also love snuggles and indoor activities too!! I’m a graduate nursing student and taking care of animals is the exact stress reliever without all of the responsibility as I am in this waiting period. I’ll treat someone else’s home as if it’s my own. I’ll be respectful and honor the house in which I’ve been let into.
“Me & mace (my son aka my bulldog) were both very happy with our first-time sitter, Elisabeth! She went above and beyond on a Saturday night none the less, after GPS directed her to a home different then where I actually live (gps issue & not her fault at all) and I was unreachable until an hour later, when we eventually spoke it was well past our scheduled time however she made it work somehow & still managed to get mace taken care of, the next visit went as expected & she provided me plenty of info on mace was doing while I was away & so that comfort & piece of Mind that I get from hearing that is not the same as when we board with the vet or have friends stop by and check On him. Very happy with the service ftom Elizabeth, Highly Recommend!”

“Greer was absolutely amazing!! Anyone's pets would be in the best hands with her! She followed instructions exceptionally well and went above and beyond what I asked/expected of her! Greer communicated well and helped me feel at ease away from my cats! She very quickly proved that safety and comfort were her upmost priorities! I feel very lucky to have had her and cannot say enough great things!!”

“Iggy was phenomenal! Highly recommend. Took over caring for our kitten when our sitter canceled last minute. Not only went above and beyond for our sweet Boo but also checked on our salt water fish and turtles. Will be rebooking in the future!!”
“Alexandria did a fantastic job taking care of my senior puppy. She went above and beyond to make sure my pup was cared for and comfortable while communicating clearly and frequently. We look forward to booking with her again.”

This was my first time using this service and I am GRATEFUL to have chosen Antonio. He was patient, kind, and fully engaged with my senior fur baby. Dutch does not typically gravitate to people easily but there was no barrier in care with Antonio. I will definitely be reaching out again!

We loved having Hannah take care of our elderly pup for us again. She took great care of him and cleaned up after him well. She followed our instructions perfectly and was on time and prompt with visits. Loved the photos and extensive comment card. Highly recommend !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
