I’ve taken care of dogs of every size, shape, and breed since I was roughly 8. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m very reasonably priced, and as a veterinary technician of 5+ years and a graduate of Jefferson State’s Veterinary Technology program, I have the specialized training for giving medications and what to do should an emergency arise! I am familiar with emergency medicine and have worked in an ER setting for almost a year.

Ashleigh was absolutely wonderful! She took care of Preston for two nights for us. I was a little nervous because it was our first time leaving P with someone. But Ashleigh eased my nerves by sending updates and pictures. It also helped that we met her before hand at Ps vet office that she works at. Knowing that Ashleigh has ER experience really helped keep me at ease in case anything should happen. She kept our house tidy, and followed our instructions. P seemed to enjoy his time with her and we look forward to having her sit again:)

Ashleigh was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs! As an experienced veterinary technician, she gave us even more peace of mind knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. She took great care of them, kept us updated, and made sure they were well loved while we were away. We would absolutely trust Ashleigh to watch them again and highly recommend her!

If you love updates like I do Ashleigh is your girl! She took great care of our two cats we had to go out of town & just adopted an 8 week old not ideal but she made it so easy. Not only did our older cat “criminal newt” I’m sure you can deduce from the name she’s not the sweetest but ash won her heart & got snuggles… so rare but she loved on our baby boy. Ashleigh took her time to get to know what each one of our babies needed & wanted she took great care of both of them I would definitely recommend oh & she left me with a clean house!!!

Schedule
I’m currently taking a break from veterinary medicine to study for my state licensing exam to become a licensed veterinary technician! This has freed my schedule up to provide more care for pets! My weekends are considerably more free but I can provide morning or afternoon/evening drop ins!

I have a large yard that is completely fenced! I crate my own pets when I am not home so I am happy to stop in and let your crated pets out for potty breaks! I adhere to feeding/bathroom/medication schedules to a T.

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. I have snuffle boards and dog puzzles at my home for when we’re inside playing. There’s a dog park very close to my house! I love walking in the huge field behind my home.

- The things I first ask are feeding instructions and if there are any medication requirements! That way I can make sure I can best accommodate your babies. I have no breed preferences and can care for any pet in the right environment. I also have no breed restrictions.
