About: I've raised a 7 1/2 year old reactive Texas Heeler since she was 8 weeks old. We've gone through years of positive-reinforcement training, and I have a great sense of how to work with reactive dogs without negative reinforcement. Because of my time with Lynx, I'm patient and persistent, calm and collected. More than anything, I've come to love her and dogs like her unconditionally, and want to help you care for your pet, regardless of their behaviors. I recently moved back to Montgomery, and I have a relatively open schedule until August 1. After August 1, I'll be available most evenings past 6pm. I want to care for/approach all pets on the owner's own terms. It's important for me to first learn about your connections to your pet, so I might best respect that and let it inform how I engage with your pet.

About: From the age of 5 I learned the importance of taking good care of animals growing up on my parents full scale Cow/Calf farm. I’ve had many dogs and cats throughout my life, cared for family members animals, and friends when they have went out of town. Raising animals and loving on them is in my blood and it’s a fun thing to do for me. My grown up job I worked with most of the names in agriculture that you probably buy their products in the grocery store! I love dogs, cats, birds, you name it and would love to care for your sweet baby! In my neighborhood we have a large backyard with steps that lead down to it and nice fresh grass! We also have a park nearby that I’d love to walk your pup to! I work 7am-5pm Monday - Thursday in office but other than that I am free to watch your fur baby and can keep them during that time as I have a neighbor that can let them out for me. I think it’s important to treat anyone else’s things like I would my own. So I find it important to take good care of the clients home!

You don't have to worry while they're in my care, I will always have their best interest in mind! I work from home most dates, or my partner is home and if I leave for more than 2 hours your pup can join me for a car ride! I'd prefer to host a pup that is crate trained but it isn't needed. I am happy to walk them multiple times a day. We have big backyard but it is unfenced so they will be leashed while outside.

“We boarded our dogs for 10 days with Kel H. We have a mal-Shi and a Yorkie. They were very well taken care of, actually they were spoiled. If you want to place your pets in a loving home environment than this is the place for you. Kel was really great about sending texts, photos and videos of our dogs, which helped us know they were doing ok. One of our dogs needs medication a few times a day which was handled by Kel H with no issues. We will be using her again.”
“Lauren and her husband were great with my two pups. She communicated often about how my pups were doing and sent great pictures. I was so thankful that we found her since my Scout has diabetes. She was able to give him his insulin shots and his other medications. She is training to be a PA, so she knows what she is doing. Plus, her mom has a dog with diabetes that she has given shots to. I highly recommend Lauren! She was awesome!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every size, shape, and breed since I was roughly 8. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m very reasonably priced, and as a veterinary technician of 5+ years and a graduate of Jefferson State’s Veterinary Technology program, I have the specialized training for giving medications and what to do should an emergency arise! I am familiar with emergency medicine and have worked in an ER setting for almost a year. I’m currently taking a break from veterinary medicine to study for my state licensing exam to become a licensed veterinary technician! This has freed my schedule up to provide more care for pets! My weekends are considerably more free but I can provide morning or afternoon/evening drop ins! I have a large yard that is completely fenced! I crate my own pets when I am not home so I am happy to stop in and let your crated pets out for potty breaks! I adhere to feeding/bathroom/medication schedules to a T.
