“I love Beth and so did my Yorkie. She’s trustworthy, responsible, and kind. She sends videos and updates daily on how he is doing and coping with my absence. I highly recommend her, especially if your dog is skiddish or has trust issues.”

“Francis did great! We have a reactive dog that doesn't do well with new people. He did great with Francis. We got lots of updates while we were away, came home to a clean house and detailed notes. We would definitely book again in the furture.”

“Just like the first time we booked Wendy, we found her to be a great sitter. Excellent communication and kept our pups safe over a couple nights. Would recommend highly!”

About: You can rest assured your furry friend will be in capable hands! I’ve cared for two dogs of my own—one since puppy age to old age, and I currently have a 2yr old pup. I enjoy training dogs/believe this is a great way for bonding. I also enjoy being active and playing or taking dogs on walks. I work full time Monday through Friday, therefore weekends are the best if your dog requires round the clock care. If your dog just needs a morning walk and attention in the evening after I am off work, then I can look after them any day of the week. Personally, I like to keep dogs to their daily routine if possible. I do have a 2 year old dog who is very playful and loves to make new friends. Your furry friend would be coming along on our morning and evening walks and a part of before bed playtime!
“Demi was a great house sitter for my dog Meatball! She was respectful of the house, gave us great updates and showed him a lot of love. We would definitely use her again!”

About: I love animals. I volunteered at the Oakland SPCA as a pet socializer. My duties included taking the dogs for their walks, playing with them outside and getting a good photo to update the website. Seeing how each dog got excited to go on their walks just made my day! I was also responsible for the cats as well. I grew up with a show doberman pinscher and cats. He was lovable, loyal and such a wonderful pet. We ended up getting a mate for him after he was done with shows. I love dachshund's. They are just adorable. I currently have 2 cats, Marcus Miller and Monet.
“Amy is the best dog sitter we could have asked for. I pride myself on how much I take my dogs on adventures but Amy even surpassed what I do for my own dog! Amy took my dog on numerous wonderful adventures while sending me amazing pictures from their adventures. When Amy left she left a gorgeous hand drawn picture of our dog. I recommend Amy to anyone with a pet that they like and want to leave in good hands. 5 stars. A+ dog sitting! Will hire again!”

“Katavia was amazing. She sent me photos of my pups right as she got to my house and continued to send videos/pictures until she left. It helped relieve my anxiety immensely. I will 100% be booking with her again! Thank you Katavia!”

About: I take care of more than just dogs and cats. Any guinea pigs, rabbits and birds are welcome too! There is a second story to the house for smaller animals like the above and for cats. Downstairs and the backyard is for boarding dogs. I can care for all sizes of dogs! Fulfilling pet care services for pet parents is currently my full-time job! I offer: dog walks; drop in services for feeding & other petcare needs; sitting in your home; boarding in my home upon scheduling. I have 2 locations to board dogs, both locations are within a mile of one another. I try to make it as homely for the pet as possible. If they would like to follow me around the house that is acceptable if they are potty trained. I garden in the backyard and they are more than welcome to join me outside! Many potty breaks for the puppers! Cats will stay on the second floor along with any small (non-K9) pets.
“Dana Chloe is a truly dedicated sitter who we love and trust. We are grateful to have her in our lives, to share in the joy and great care of our pets. We are truly blessed!”

“Exceptional care! MJ took excellent care of our Bernedoodle puppy, she sent us updates and pictures throughout and our pup, Elvie, truly loved her time with MJ. Elvie has an abundance of energy and MJ kept her active and stimulated, she also brought over a snuffle mat which was such a hit we went out and bought one right away. Would 100% recommend MJ for your dogwalking or dogsitting needs.”

About: Hi, my name is Jasmin. I’m a lifelong animal lover and the proud owner of 2 dogs, whom I’ve raised since they were puppies. I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 12 years old, with experience caring for all ages, from playful puppies to senior dogs. I’ve also been a trusted sitter for my relatives' and friends' pets whenever they needed help. In addition, I’m happy to care for cats, fish, and birds as well. I understand how important it is for your pets to feel loved and safe while you’re away. That’s why I’m committed to providing the highest level of care, ensuring you can relax knowing your fur babies are in good hands. Caring for animals has always been my passion, and I’d love the opportunity to provide your pets with the attention they deserve. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I work from home as an E-commerce Operations specialist, which allows me the flexibility to provide personalized care for your pets. My daily routine includes plenty of time to give your pets the attention and affection they deserve, whether it's playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I provide a safe and pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for them to relax and explore. I ensure that any pet I care for has a consistent routine, with plenty of attention, playtime, and rest. When sitting in a client’s home, I respect their space while maintaining a comfortable and secure environment for their pets. I follow any specific instructions for feeding, medication, and activities to ensure they feel at ease. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both you and your pet.
About: My husband and I have 3 cats and a golden retriever since he was only 3 months old. Together we’ve potty trained our dog as well as a long list of other commands! We enjoy playing with him, taking him to the dog park, getting some runs in playing fetch, and training him with snacks and treats! Our golden gets along great with our cats, they keep each other company and chase one another to play. I am excited to meet your pets and provide the most fun and best care I can for a great caregiving experience! I am currently working full time, so I am open to early morning bookings (6-9am) and evening bookings 6-9pm on the weekdays. And available all day on weekends! note: I will be the only one taking care of your pets, my photos feature my husband who will not be present or participating in the caretaking) In my clients homes, I will firstly ask where the preferred location for potty is / whether they prefer to go outside or inside somewhere (ie doggy pads or litter box), I will confirm their diet needs (timing, location of food in the home). If the dog requires potty training or crate training, we can discuss a schedule of the best times to have a training session with your pet! For walks, I love to find local parks or dog parks, and am open to any recommended locations you can offer, I also carry my own doggy bags and have plenty of toys to bring for a fun time! Important note: I will be the only one taking care of your pets, my photos feature my husband who will not be present or participating in the caretaking)
“We're so thankful for Vivian! This was our first time using Rover because our two other sitters had scheduling conflicts. We wanted to also start planning for my return to work and needed to build a relationship with a sitter. Our scheduled had to change a few times and Vivian was incredibly flexible and easy to communicate with. Our pup is a covid dog and it takes her time to get used to new people but Vivian has quickly become one of her new besties. Thank you for taking such great care of our fur baby!”

“Estelle took care of our one dog and two cats while staying at our house over the holiday weekend. We came home to 3 happy animals and a clean house. Estelle sent pics every day to make sure we knew our kiddos were doing well. We will definitely use Estelle again.”

“Jenny is a fantastic sitter! She took excellent care of my dog, Akira. Akira is usually shy and takes time to warm up to new people, but she was immediately comfortable with Jenny. I will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I’ve lived with animals my whole life; at both houses we had at least 3 cats and 3 dogs at a time with the occasional hamster, rat, snake, or rabbit. I’ve adopted most of my pets from shelters, and have helped raised two litters (one was kittens, the other was puppies). Having a wide variety of animals introduced me to a wide array of personality types from friendly and cuddly to moody or shy. These experiences have taught me to have an abundance of patience and understanding, to be able to adapt to individual needs. The animals I’ve watched/raised/trained have been all different breeds and sizes; from a 3 pound chihuahua to a 85 pound German/Pitt mix. I’ve taken care of older dogs, who need extra care, as well as sick dogs and/or dogs with preexisting conditions who require medications once, twice, or three times a day. Not only have I helped with my animals, but I’ve watched other peoples houses/pets as well. I’m pretty much a homebody, so aside from a couple hours each day, I’m available and flexible and can hangout with your pets for as long as you need. I’m a great communicator too, so if an issue were to arise, I will reach out right away because your pet’s health and well-being is my top priority. I’m going to school full-time, but it is online. The only time I need is a couple of hours for my own exercise, other than that I am available, adaptable, and extremely flexible. I do prefer a couple of days of notice in advanced, unless it’s an emergency. I will take care of your pet however you need me to. When it comes your pets health and well-being, I know you know what’s best, and I will never disrespect your wants or needs. If you need me to house sit, I will respect your property. I’m very neat, organized, and clean (slightly OCD) so I would never leave a mess.
About: I have years of veterinary technician experience and am in the process of becoming a licensed veterinarian so I have unexpected free time to take good care of your cute family members. I am trained on various diseases and emergency situations. I am currently fully available and am able to care for them everywhere except my own home due to living in an apartment. I will ensure they are fed on time and they get potty breaks as the owner requests. I have a beagle at home which I take good care of and have my family to help take care of her should I be hired to go to a clients home to care for their pets.
Mission-Garin pet parents share their Rover experiences
I would give a million stars for Nyah if I could. She took amazing care of our anxious little pup giving us 5 blissful days away with the utmost peace of mind that Hope was in great hands. Nyah is so communicative and sent lots of pictures and updates. She went above and beyond in so many ways. We are eternally grateful.

Francis truly goes above and beyond for his clients. His communication was excellent—I loved receiving updates about his schedule and how my cats were doing throughout the visits. I felt totally at ease while I was away, and I’d happily rebook with Francis anytime.

Felicia is professional, compassionate, and adored by my border collies! She spent a rainy week watching my home and pups, and I came home to an immaculate house and clean pups. Not sure how she did it, but she was excellent. I can't wait to work with her again. - Chris

Left for almost four days out of state for my brother wedding. Bella took good care of my animals while I was gone, and would recommend to anyone looking for animal care. She stayed in my home with them, and everything was clean and animals were happy. Nova is a large dog ~100lbs and doesn’t appear she had any troubles with her. Would look to rebook if I ever had the need again.

Angela loves all pets like they are her own. She is incredibly responsive, makes sure they take alllllll their meds, and sends THE cutest photos/updates. I always feel assured knowing my senior, Violet, is in Angela’s capable hands. 10/10 - will absolutely be back!

Inga took great care of my two senior girls one of which has a few medical issues and requires medication 3 times a day. She sent updates with photos and I could see both dogs were being well cared for. Inga has such a bright and positive energy about her and it's evident that she loves dogs and they love her! I was able to enjoy my time away with zero concerns or worries. If you have senior dogs you know what a gift that is! I will definitely book with Inga again and I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Inga for taking such wonderful care of my girls!
