About: A surprising fact about me is that growing up, I never had a dog. However, my family and dog-sat several dogs of friends, and some of them became like family to us. As I’ve grown older, I continue to care for others’ pets. I take care of their basic needs, but I also like to enrich our time together! Let’s go for a walk or play! Are you teaching pet new tricks? I can make sure we practice! If we are a good fit, I would like to meet you and your furry loved one! I work from home and teach/perform periodically, so I am very flexible. If you need to walk your dog at 2pm on a weekday, I got you! I offer to care for the client’s pets in their homes if I’m watching them over an extended amount of time. I’m always checking the environment to ensure that the pet, myself, and the space are safe. While I am a clear communicator, I am also a problem-solver, especially in the moment.

About: Animal lover since birth! I was raised in a dog household, we’ve always had fur babies. My friends and family have always relied on me to watch, walk, feed, bathe, and play with their fur babies. I’ve also helped one of my family dogs give birth and even raise the puppies (they are still apart of our family to this day) I currently have 1 dog, 2 cats, and 4 reptiles! They are my pride and joy If you don’t request a week or more out, I can’t guarantee a meet & greet. Please feel free to reach out if even if my availability shows not available. I am available early mornings and anytime after 7pm Monday-Wednesday. Thursday-Sunday my schedule is pretty open unless I have other bookings. I have reliable transportation and a SUV so there’s plenty of room for your fur baby! I have a super friendly dog name Reina who would love to keep your dog company or to even play with. If your dog/cat needs individual attention, that is not a problem at all.

“I am so glad I found Sarah to watch our pups while I was traveling! I was out of the country for two weeks, but thankfully my mind was at peace while I was gone. Sarah took the initiative to hear my dogs needs and how they are best taken care of and I believe she did just that. My dogs were in great care. They can be a bit naughty with new people, but they were so well taken care of. One of my dogs usually gets anxiety stools and her meds help her to chill out, but she didn’t need any while I was gone and her stools were firm. So relieved and happy to receive update photos too!”

When it comes to dog sitting, he makes sure to ask the owners what the dogs need (e.g. schedule for walking, how much play time, dietary restrictions/amount of food to offer). Richard also goes above and beyond to make sure the pups feel safe - one time a puppy he dog-sat was howling at night in her crate in the living room, so Richard slept on the couch instead to keep the puppy company.
