Francis can look after
Availability
I most often have availability in the mornings (before 10am) Fridays through Sundays, late afternoons (after 8pm) every day of the week, or overnight every day of the week. I do have a part-time job in Danville with a varying schedule, and I go to school in Fremont Mondays through Thursdays (7:30am-2:00pm), so I will be working around that. If we can work out a schedule at least three weeks in advance, there's a good chance I could move my normal schedule around to better attend to your animals needs. I am willing to book on shorter notice, just know that my availability will be less flexible due to my primary job.

Safety, trust & environment
I respect the animals, the pet parents, and the home. I follow this rule very carefully no matter what kind of service I am providing for them. In every circumstance, I am putting your pet's safety first. I am attentive to the pet's surroundings and constantly ensuring the environment around them is safe, secure, and comfortable. I am understanding of the needs of the pet parents. I know how hard can be to leave a furry family member in the care of someone else, so I take the needs and concerns of the owners very seriously. I take care of the households I interact with. I realize that keeping a home in good condition and interacting with a house mindfully is crucial for the well being and safety of both the animals and the owners.

A typical day
For dogs when going outdoors, I love to let them explore new areas when we go outside, and for more athletic dogs, I like to try and get them to run. For dogs indoors, I love to play with toys or just give them lots of pets and attention, depending on what they're in the mood for. For cats, if the cat is willing to engage with me, I like to try and engage them in play like chasing a toy. If they aren't in the mood to play, I will give them lots of love, pets, and brushing if they want it.

Reviews

Francis is great with our Aussie-shepherd mix. He showed up promptly to walk her and had her out and about for the full allotted time. We’ll use Francis again!

Great communication and takes wonderful care of our Kylo and fish

Francis truly goes above and beyond for his clients. His communication was excellent—I loved receiving updates about his schedule and how my cats were doing throughout the visits. I felt totally at ease while I was away, and I’d happily rebook with Francis anytime.

Francis was a fantastic sitter for our dog and cat, we could not have asked for better person to look after them. Francis was meticulous from the beginning, I appreciated the initial meeting where we could share important details to ensure a right fit. During the stay he was extremely diligent, and even changed his schedule to fit with our cat’s medication timings. He was gentle and loving to both of our pets and provided us continuous updates. We could not recommend him enough and have already rebooked him for our next trip out of town.
