I took care of 2 of my own dogs growing up and friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. Having grown up with numerous dogs of my own, I know how anxious it can be to leave your doggo in the care of someone else. With a daily dog walker, you don’t have to worry as much if you need to stay late for work, or if your dog doesn’t completely “finish” when you take them out in the morning. The knowledge that your dog will get quality time outdoors during the day also helps relieve the guilt or stress held by knowing your pup is otherwise locked up alone, often for 8 or more hours every day.  We all live busy lives, and every minute counts. Sometimes, consistent lengthy walks are difficult to fit into our schedules. We often wake up extra early, head home for our lunch hours, and delay making dinner for our families in an effort to make sure our dogs get the care they need. With a regular dog walker, your dog still gets all of the exercise and attention they deserve, while you get back a great deal of time. Everyone wins! I can do drop-ins or house sits where I can come to your house and make sure your doggo is taken good care of by going out to go potty, is fed, needs a fresh bowl of water, or just some cuddling. “Jasmine helped us out of a tight spot over the Holidays when our original sitter bailed. It was our 8 month old puppy’s first time with a sitter. On the first day, there were some issues and the dogs wound up alone for all but about 15 mins in an 8+ hr stretch. This was the longest they’d ever been alone. Things improved marginally after that, but we left detailed instructions / schedule that was clearly not upheld. Our dogs seemed ok after it, but we came home to quite a mess and are dealing with a lot of training regression with our puppy.”

About: I've watched dogs for others for years, starting with my former dance instructor when I was a teenager to now and my client list has grown exponentially over the years through word of mouth. While most of the dogs I've cared for are seniors and have a special place in my heart, including my own now, I also love to care for those with more high energy and enjoy walking and playing. I make sure to communicate any issues that arise as soon as possible and accommodate to your pets needs as if they were my own. I currently work full-time, but can dedicate lots of love and attention to your pet whenever I'm off work or on my lunch break if it’s close by. I will make sure your pet gets plenty of food, rest, and exercise depending on yours and their needs. When pet sitting, I like to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. I know having a new body around can be stressful, but I always manage to have pets feel comfortable and happy when I'm around. I also clean up after myself, to the point where you won't even know I was there, as well as your pet if there are any messes that need to be cleaned--bathroom accidents, vomit, etc, I've cleaned it all!
