“Maggie is an angel and cat whisperer! Our two little critters had a great time during Maggie’s drop in visits. She was so thorough and let us know when each visit started and ended and included pictures! Her updates made us feel so comforted that our little fur babies were doing well and that they were happy. She is so kind and the house was in excellent shape when we got home. We will definitely be using her in the future as her schedule allows!”

“Rachel did a great job with our two cats. She was very kind and and willing to do whatever we asked. We could tell by the pictures she took that the cats were very happy and enjoyed her care and company. She even moved a heavy package into our apartment for us! I would highly recommend Rachel and we will try to hire her again In the future.”

“I could not have been happier with Brett & Stephanie. They were so nice & understanding (1st time to leave my cats with anyone other than family.). They made it their personal mission to get the cats to engage…at least for pictures. 😂. Speaking of, they always went out of their way to make sure I saw my babies and they kept me updated , even sending video of them “signing “ for Brett 😂😂. 100% recommend using them. If I need someone again, will not hesitate to book with them!”

“Merrick is fantastic and I will absolutely have him watch my dogs in the future. My dogs are usually anxious when I travel, but did great in Merrick's care. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.”

“Emma-Claire is so good with my cats, even the fickle one! She’s so attentive, and sends updates, and pictures to ease your mind about your fur babies while you’re away. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to know for sure that their animals are in good hands while away!”

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life. I have a German Shepard lab mix. My boyfriend has six dogs that I’m around a lot, so there is never a shortage of dogs near me. He has a Mastiff, a puggle, 2 husky puppies, and 2 Boston terriers. I love all dogs of any size and age. I’m currently working part time, and I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available every day in the morning and evenings. I’m open to do short or long term dog walking. I don’t have a yard, but I live very close to two dog parks. My dog Maverick is friendly and gets along with other dogs.
About: I was raised caring for all types of animals, but I have a particular love for dogs and cats! Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets for over 10 years of my life. My experience includes feeding, administering medications, walking, playtime, and overnight care. As an adult, I've cared for my own dogs for the past 5+ years and understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable who will love and care them as much as you do! My schedule is very flexible this summer, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I'm available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks during both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to adapt to each pet's usual routine and needs! My husband and I have a large fence yard and a home with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable. We also have a friendly male collie/retriever mix who enjoys playing, but he can be easily separated if your dog prefers their own space. I'm comfortable using crates or separate rooms as needed, and I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with my dog to help ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their normal environment and routines consistent to reduce stress. I'm respectful of your home and able to follow detailed instructions. I'm also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel connected while away. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is to provide a clean and loving environment that feels as close to home as possible for every pet in my care.
“Meredith was able to watch my two senior cats when our regular sitter wasn’t available and she did a great job. My cats took to her instantly and she provided great updates and pictures of each visit. We will definitely use her again.”

About: I am incredibly patient with young and elderly animals. I have experience with both large and small breeds. I can be available on short notice, which makes me perfect for unplanned events. My pet care will be my main priority, so fitting it in to my schedule is no issue. I can be available whenever I am needed for long or short stays! I will care for others pets with the same love and respect that I give to my own animals. While in a clients home, I will respect the house, as well as the pets place in the home.
“Bailey did great! She was great at communicating and sending updates. There were a couple times she had to come past the scheduled drop in time which initially had me nervous, but she made it and communicated well each time which put me at ease. The dogs seemed to do great with her and she even helped wipe up the floor after it had rained and there were paw prints! Would definitely recommend”

“We are so grateful for the care and attention you show our girls. It’s a huge relief to know they are in such good hands when we travel. Thank you so much!!!”

“Terry kept me in the loop with pictures and her scheduled visits. My “skittish” black cat was in great shape upon arriving home. I was very pleased and appreciative of Terry’s job with BK. I will definitely be calling upon her cat care again. Ty Terry.”

“Savannah took incredible care of our sweet Iggy while we were out of the state over the holidays. Iggy is prone to anxiety induced sickness and this is the first time in years that we've left him with a sitter and not had any health concerns when we returned! She gave him his medications daily, spent time playing with and loving on him, and very patiently accommodated all of his weird little quirks :) She communicated frequently and gave us daily updates on how he was doing. I feel so safe leaving Iggy with her and highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have years of experience pet sitting and walking for family and friends. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities (I admittedly have a soft spot for the big babies), and I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine and needs. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just quiet company, I provide attentive, loving care that helps them feel safe and at home! I’m currently a student at the University of Arkansas but I am looking to pick up some pet sitting/walking while back home on my breaks. I am available most days of the week and most times of the day! In my home, pets get a safe, clean, and relaxed environment with plenty of attention and affection. I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine—feeding times, walk schedules, play, and rest—so they feel comfortable and secure.

Would book Marie over and over! So kind and pays attention to detail both with the care of our pets but also our home as well. The check-in cards were heartfelt and with sweet photos, didn't feel like it was "required" and made us feel so great about who was watching our fur babies😊

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mineral Wells. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
