“Bridgett took really good care of my doggy baby Maxx she was very consistent and updated me every visit with pictures and notes of the day her and my dog had which he seemed to be sooo happy and content!! I hope to use her again in the near future🌟”

“Emma-Claire is so good with my cats, even the fickle one! She’s so attentive, and sends updates, and pictures to ease your mind about your fur babies while you’re away. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to know for sure that their animals are in good hands while away!”

“Megan is always great with our pets! They love her and so do we! Always on time, always sends cute pictures, and most importantly, our pets are calm and happy when we get home!”

“McKenzie was fantastic! She took great care of my pets, kept me updated, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. She’s reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again!”

“Savannah took incredible care of our sweet Iggy while we were out of the state over the holidays. Iggy is prone to anxiety induced sickness and this is the first time in years that we've left him with a sitter and not had any health concerns when we returned! She gave him his medications daily, spent time playing with and loving on him, and very patiently accommodated all of his weird little quirks :) She communicated frequently and gave us daily updates on how he was doing. I feel so safe leaving Iggy with her and highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“Really appreciated Sadie and her good attentive care for our older pup. We were new to the area and knew nobody - our dog is 13 and deaf. Sadie listened to my instructions and sent daily pictures and updates which helped me to worry less and enjoy our weekend away!”
About: I've taken care of many dogs since I was a kid. In my family I'm known for my love for all animals, and im trusted with their dogs when a pet sitter is needed! Im currently out of work, so i will have plenty of time for your furry friends! I am available during the week and weekends between 9am-8pm. I have a fenced backyard with a shaded porch and three friendly pups to keep your fur baby entertained! I also have an extra crate if needed.

“Gage was great! He did a great job taking care of my pet. He was always on time, great at communicating with us while away and I know my dog had a great time and walks in the cold with him. He even came over when snowing!! Kudos Gage!!”

“I highly recommend Madison and Joshua. I needed cat sitters every other day for a month, and they were wonderful to work with throughout. One or both of them would visit for a half hour, taking care of litter boxes, food, and water, feeding the fish, and pulling in any mail or packages for me. I loved getting the photos in the 'report card' after each visit, and knowing the cats had consistent visitors who cared while I was gone. I will hire them anytime I'm traveling!”

“We had a medical emergency and needed help with our cat who was left outside. Olivia accommodated our needs and helped with our girl until family was able to come into Town and stay. We appreciate her flexibility, responsiveness and care. Thank you Olivia!!”

“We cant be happier with Lyndsay. She is very patient with our fur babies even though they are a little barky. :) They are warming to her every session. She keeps us informed and is very pleasant to deal with.”

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life. I have a German Shepard lab mix. My boyfriend has six dogs that I’m around a lot, so there is never a shortage of dogs near me. He has a Mastiff, a puggle, 2 husky puppies, and 2 Boston terriers. I love all dogs of any size and age. I’m currently working part time, and I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available every day in the morning and evenings. I’m open to do short or long term dog walking. I don’t have a yard, but I live very close to two dog parks. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lewisburg. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
