About: Hi!! I’m Mackenzie!! I’m 26 and im a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and ages. From snakes and chickens and of course puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention. I took some time off dog sitting for awhile due to some life changes and i cannot wait to get back at it as i LOVE doing this. About: I was raised caring for all types of animals, but I have a particular love for dogs and cats! Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets for over 10 years of my life. We also have a friendly male collie/retriever mix who enjoys playing, but he can be easily separated if your dog prefers their own space. I'm comfortable using crates or separate rooms as needed, and I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with my dog to help ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their normal environment and routines consistent to reduce stress. I'm respectful of your home and able to follow detailed instructions. I'm also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel connected while away. We have always had 3 or 4 dogs and cats. I have always wanted to have a career with animals. I spend a lot of time outdoors, with my dogs, on our farm. I have experience with and have owned 100+ pound dogs as well as smaller dogs. I have owned and taken care of senior dogs and I am comfortable giving medications.
