About: I'm highly skilled at reading animal body language. I have experience with anxious, temperamental, excitable, shy, and senior pets. I've cared for cats since a young age and have more recent hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I'm comfortable supporting both energetic younger pets and older pets who require a softer approach. I am able to handle animals gently, give oral/injection medications, routine care, play, and feeding. I am currently work part-time Monday through Wednesday from 10:00am-6:00pm. On Thursdays and Fridays, I'm fully available during the day and usually make plans around 6:00pm, but I'm always happy to stop by before or after. I'm completely available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for visits, drop-ins, or extended care. I always make sure I'm aware of any pet allergies, medical needs, and medications that must be given. If a medication has to be administered at a specific time, I will adjust my schedule to ensure your pet's safety and consistency. I take care to keep toxic plants, foods, and loose wires out of reach, and I maintain clean litter boxes and bowls throughout my visits. If certain pets cannot share a space, I will follow your instructions closely to keep everyone safe and comfortable. In case of emergencies, I have a reliable vehicle that pets can safely ride in if transportation is needed.

I have been trusted to take care of animals and kids by multiple different families and I have references on hand if needed! I am currently working working a part time job, so I have plenty of time to play with the animals, feed them and let them out! About: Growing up, I have always had pets. We have had both dogs and cats that I had to care for since a young age. As I’ve gotten older, I have been watching friends’ pets when they go out of town. In 2019, I made a Facebook post about my dog sitting that caught many people’s attention. I had many responses that led to lots of pet sitting that summer. Every summer since 2019, my schedule has been completely booked up with pet sitting in my area. I have experience with small dogs, big dogs, puppies, older dogs, and cats. I have experience giving both oral and injectable medications. I have spent time volunteering at the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County, Southern Pines Animal Shelter, and the West Memphis Animal Shelter. I am very comfortable being around both dogs and cats, understanding their body language, and caring for them. I am a social work graduate student in the North MS area. I have an internship 3 days a week and class 2 nights per week. My best availability is Friday-Monday, because I don’t have class or internship on those days. I am unable to bring pets into my home because I have 2 roommates with 4 cats. However, I would love to care for your animals in your home! If your home is accommodating to your pets, then it should be no problem. I also have a car that I can put dogs in to take them to a dog park or to a walking trail.
