About: Growing up, I have always had pets. We have had both dogs and cats that I had to care for since a young age. As I’ve gotten older, I have been watching friends’ pets when they go out of town. In 2019, I made a Facebook post about my dog sitting that caught many people’s attention. I had many responses that led to lots of pet sitting that summer. Every summer since 2019, my schedule has been completely booked up with pet sitting in my area. I have experience with small dogs, big dogs, puppies, older dogs, and cats. About: I'm a lifelong dog owner and lover of many different breeds. I currently have a miniature pinscher and a dachshund who are used to company and making new friends. I've also owned beagles, terriers, and a Belgian malinois. I love to play with dogs and take them on walks. I'm responsible, reliable, punctual, and fun! I'm home every afternoon and am free for walks some mornings and I will be available for walks in the early evening during the warmer months. About: I have been taking care of dogs and many different animals since I was a child! I had many pets ranging from birds, frogs, iguanas, hermit crabs, ferrets, cats, and dogs. I have always been an animal lover! I unfortunately do not get to have a pet of my own due to my husband being in the Air Force. Which means we move around a lot. About: My husband and I are furtunate enough to work from home. Along with our adult daughter, we take pleasure in caring for, and showering love on, our furry guests. I began my career as a professional dog trainer/behaviorist in Southern California in 1996. It wasn't until after our move to Las Vegas in 2002 that my business was truly established. However, in 2011, we unexpectedly uprooted and moved to Houston, TX, and found myself heading into a new venture in the dog industry. During our 9 years in Texas, I become involved with other canine endeavors, including competing in AKC Conformation with our Akitas and Whippets and occasionally assisting in breed-specific and all-breed rescue organizations. After moving to northwest Mississippi in August 2020, we decided to continue offering our boarding and pet care services because of how much we enjoy it. In addition to playing with dogs, I have a part-time position in my home, which enables me to give each of our canine guests plenty of attention. My husband works full-time from home and is always available as a backup in case I have to run off to an appointment. Also living in our home are our two young adult daughters, Beth & Rachel. We are all dog lovers who also happen to be "dog-wise". Our own dogs are friendly and well-behaved and enjoy having fur-friends come to visit. Admittedly, we do have a good amount of dogs, but we have established a great routine and, if our fur-guest isn't too sure at first, we have plenty of options in keeping dogs separated until our fur-guest feels comfortable and happy. We have a considerable amount of experience at pairing dogs in appropriate play groups according to size, temperament and activity level. Our home is situated on nearly 2 acres with about a half-acre securely fenced for dogs to play in. Our active guests will have tons of fun outside playing with each other and chasing squirrels, in addition to spending a large portion of the day and all night relaxing inside our home. Our more sedentary guests have plenty of laps, couch space, and dog beds to laze around on. While crates are a useful tool for keeping dogs comfortable and safe, especially during the brief periods nobody is home, rest assured your sweet babies will not be locked in a crate for long periods. We also have extensive experience with many types of animals, such as chickens, goats, donkeys and horses and offer drop-in visits, where we come to your home to feed, exercise, and interact with your pet(s) and/or farm animals. Our fee is "per visit" and is the same regardless of the number of pets/animals. Additionally, I offer house sitting on a case-by-case basis where I spend nights at your home. Again, our "per night" fee is the same regardless of the number and type of pets/animals in your home or on your property. However, a premium may be assessed if the care of livestock is fairly substantial. Currently, we are only serving the areas of Holly Springs, Byhalia, and Red Banks for drop-in visits but are available to drive longer distances for house sitting.
