About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I would go to my neighbor's house and take care of their dogs and cats when they were out of town. I would take care of my auntie's dog as well, and he would stay with me at my house while she was out of town. I'm currently a full-time college student and most of my classes are online. So I only go on campus 2 days a week. I have a huge backyard for them to play in. My main living space has wood floors. I usually play with them or stick beside them the whole time.
About: I was raised caring for all types of animals, but I have a particular love for dogs and cats! Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets for over 10 years of my life. My experience includes feeding, administering medications, walking, playtime, and overnight care. As an adult, I've cared for my own dogs for the past 5+ years and understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable who will love and care them as much as you do! My schedule is very flexible this summer, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I'm available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks during both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to adapt to each pet's usual routine and needs! My husband and I have a large fence yard and a home with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable. We also have a friendly male collie/retriever mix who enjoys playing, but he can be easily separated if your dog prefers their own space. I'm comfortable using crates or separate rooms as needed, and I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with my dog to help ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their normal environment and routines consistent to reduce stress. I'm respectful of your home and able to follow detailed instructions. I'm also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel connected while away. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is to provide a clean and loving environment that feels as close to home as possible for every pet in my care.
“Maggie was absolutely amazing! I reached out to her and she quickly scheduled a meet and greet and agreed to take care of our boy. She did a great job with daily communications and pics. She was truly a lifesaver!!!”

About: Hi! I’m Taylor, and caring for animals has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. After recently moving back home to Olive Branch, Mississippi, I’m excited to start pet sitting again and connect with fellow pet lovers in the community. I work in restaurant management and run a small finance business, but animals have always held a special place in my heart. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities. Every pet is unique, and I’m committed to following their routine and providing the individualized care they deserve. Whether you have dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, fish, or other beloved companions, I’ll treat them like family. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pets are in caring hands. My goal is simple: to give every pet the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry, feathered, or scaly family members! 🐾❤️ I know leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable from the very first meet-and-greet. I treat every animal with the same patience, love, and respect I’d want for my own.❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I work in restaurant management and also run a small finance business, but I intentionally keep my schedule organized so I can provide dependable care. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, love, and timely care while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved in whatever environment they’re most familiar with. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special care needs. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so I’ll send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have been pet sitting since middle school, studied animals in school and have owned a multitude of pets over the years. So I can say that I have a passion & experience when it comes to taking care of animals. This is more than just watching someone’s dog or cat. I have been there for people & pets during the happiest and saddest days of their lives so I take pride in watching over your pets & home. I also know that leaving town can be stressful at times for yourself and your pets…let’s be honest they know you are leaving them. Boarding can be a great answer, but I definitely feel like it is best when pets can stay in the comfort of their own home. I am able to help with that! I have 2 active dogs currently so I am pretty used to it all. Most of my time, money and energy is devoted to taking care of my dogs so I can assure I will be able to handle mostly any pet situation. I am even able to take trash out to the street, grab packages/mail etc! Let me help you out :) NOTE* - *I am temporarily not able to stay overnight for house sitting due to just having a baby of my own. I am still very flexible on visits. *If you need 3 or more drop ins, I will discount the rate, just let me know! I am a college grad & I work from home full time so my schedule is very flexible. Let me know what your pets needs are and we can work out something perfect for while you are gone! My dogs are treated like royalty so I aim to do the same for your babies. Walks can be provided for sure! I have been working for Rover since 2021 and have verified references.
“So grateful for Madison & Josh being willing to take care of our 2 dogs last minute. We were out of town and left in a bind. Madison & Josh were so patient with me and understanding when I was trying to coordinate plans from several states away. Both dogs were happy to meet new friends and had great walks that tired them out for the evening. Will definitely be reaching out again!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
