About: I was raised caring for all types of animals, but I have a particular love for dogs and cats! Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets for over 10 years of my life. My experience includes feeding, administering medications, walking, playtime, and overnight care. As an adult, I've cared for my own dogs for the past 5+ years and understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable who will love and care them as much as you do! My schedule is very flexible this summer, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. My husband and I have a large fence yard and a home with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable. We also have a friendly male collie/retriever mix who enjoys playing, but he can be easily separated if your dog prefers their own space. I'm comfortable using crates or separate rooms as needed, and I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with my dog to help ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. I grew up with dogs around and in the home my entire life, and I got my own baby doggy, Ace, in December 2021! Ace has helped me gain even more experience as he has anxiety and allergies and I have to administer medications and help manage his anxiety by being a calming/grounding presence when he needs it. I’m dependable, attentive to routines, and committed to making pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care and plenty of attention. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work part time at the YMCA! My shifts range from 4 hours- 5 1/2 hours. So that is the longest I would be gone at one time during the day. I know how important it is to trust someone with both your pets and your home. My smallest, the cuddlebug, was addicted to being held by Hannah - she looked like she never wanted to leave honestly. This was our first time leaving, but now I know that it doesn't have to be our last. We're still allowed to go out on those long work trips, knowing that we'll come back to loved and safe animals. I am BEYOND grateful for these two, and I would stake my claim that you all will be too. Just make sure you don't take all their spaces, so that I can still book them in the future haha !!”
