This is the first time we had Isabella stay with us. She picked up our dog, Pinky, from the vet at 5pm and stayed one of the two nights. She called at ~8pm on the first day to say that Pinky got fleas at the vet. Pinky had received annual flea and tick prevention. We also have a quarterly exterminator. I ordered a flea collar and flea spray from Kroger and paid for rapid delivery. I also indicated where we had Off spray and told her that she could sleep in a different bedroom. The next morning, Isabella called to say she got bitten by fleas during the night and that she wanted to take Pinky back to the vet to stay the 2nd night. I called the vet who said that they would give her a free bath, but we would not be able to pick her up for 2 days due to their weekend pick-up schedule. Fortunately, my friend was available to come from the next town over to take care of Pinky until we came home.
Leah was so good with my Jordan! He is very nervous with new people at first but she gave him time and space to warm up to her on his own and by the time I got back he didn’t want to leave her side. She was so kind putting up with me too and following my very detailed pages of care instructions - she gave him his meds, fed him and sent pics so I knew he was well cared for while I was gone which was such a huge relief and let me actually enjoy my vacation without worrying about my fur baby the whole time. I cannot recommend her enough and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!!
