About: I’ve had animals since I was a child. A horse when I was 10 dogs, cats and still have dogs, cats and a horse in my life as of now have no problems with ministering medication to any animal. I am retired. Looking for a hobby that I love. I am available all times of the day seven days a week. It may be so. I have five small dogs of my own with a backyard fenced in and a doggie door for them to go in and out as they please.

“Rose was an absolute dream of a sitter. They made sure we got pictures of the boys, left our house probably cleaner than my husband and I left it and was more than willing to meet with us on two separate occasions before our boarding sesh to help acclimate our more skittish doggo son. By mid-weekend, both dogs were fans of Rose and honestly, so am I. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Christine is a down-to-earth person who is easy to talk with and pays attention to important details. At our meet & greet, she asked good questions that reflected her experience and commitment to making both pets and their owners feel comfortable with her. My young adult cat Suki had never been left alone with someone she didn’t already know. In my absence, however, Christine eased her way into Suki’s territory by setting the right balance between showing her some quiet attention and giving her the time and space she needed to adjust and come out of her shell. The photos Christine sent me proved that once she had won Suki over, the little kitty was her sweet, affectionate self and the two of them had a delightful time together! I will be asking Christine to Suki-sit in my house again!”

“We had a wonderful experience with our pet sitter Margaret! She took excellent care of my dog, Otto, and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well-loved while I was traveling. I really appreciated the regular updates with pictures and great communication—it gave me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, responsible, kind and caring pet sitter!”

“Dan just got finished watching our two dogs and I can confidently say he is the best. I got daily updates (most days twice a day) with pictures. My boys always looked content. Dan even cleaned the house before we came home and everything was spotless. It was very obvious when we got back that the boys were well taken care of and enjoyed having him here. Will definitely use again in the future and would highly recommend to others!”

“Stephen is a phenomenal communicator, with humans and pups. He’s very friendly and professional, and is terrific at what he does! Look forward to having him sit for our brood again soon.”

“Allie was great! She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and videos of all my dogs. She truly went above and beyond in every sense to make sure my dogs were well cared for and was attentive to every little detail. I would absolutely recommend Allie to anyone. I really felt good that my dogs were in good hands all day.”

“Nathan did a wonderful job looking after our three eccentric cats. We have one cat who needs meds twice a day and he had no problem dosing him. Even the shy cat came out for him! We came home to calm, happy cats! Thank you Nate!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs almost my entire life. I’ve taking care of family and neighbors dogs and it’s the best part of my day! Im currently working part time and I have plenty of extra time to take care of someone dog(s) for them. I want to help others out and this is something I would really enjoy doing! I have a dog and I walk him on nice days in my neighborhood after work and I play with him out in my back yard with a few of his favorite toys so he gets exercise.
“Thank you Janice...! You are the best. We appreciate you being available with such short notice. We left you with 2 crazy dogs only to return with both sleeping on each side of you..So glad we found you..! Thank you! Jeanne and Craig”

“Kristen is a very friendly, very personable and professional person. She is outgoing and warm hearted and has a natural rapport with animals. She spent 12 days out our house sitting our dog and two cats. She rearranged her schedule to devote as much time as possible with our pets. We received pictures of very contented animals, even the cats who are reclusive liked hanging out with her. We returned to very happy pets. She is on the top of our list for any future plans.”

“This was our first time using Rover and Angie was WONDERFUL!! Our dogs loved her, our house was spotless after her stay, and she was great about communicating and sending pictures and updates. She’s also just a kindhearted, mature, responsible person and we’d absolutely book her again:)”

“Emily is such a wonderful person! She instantly connected with our dogs and they felt at home with her right away. She is extremely conscientious and shares lots of helpful updates. We felt super happy and comfortable on our trip with our pups in her care. Book with her if you have a chance!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. My earliest memory is of my German shepherd at 3 years old running up to me and giving me lots of love and kisses. We can play as much as needed outside or just chill and relax inside with our friends. I am home most days so am generally available unless I get booked up to take care of your fur baby! You can rest assured your pet will be given lots of love with me! I have a toy poodle that loves company and playing with other dogs! I also welcome cats and can provide a large range of space or a more isolated environment, whatever they prefer!
“Miranda was an awesome and calm dog sitter for our high strung Jack Russell for a weekend. She is a responsible person and excellent communicator. She came to meet us and followed all the instructions for feeding, walks and getting in and out of the house. Our dog was happy and I would highly recommend her!”

“Michele was fabulous!! Jasper was in great hands! She sent plenty of photos and I appreciated this! She also drove Jasper to his doggie daycare, Central Bark! This kept Jasper occupied and offered Michele a break! Although I know she would have kept him busy at home too.”

About: My earliest memories feature dogs and cats, and they have been in my life since the age of three. Frankly, it's difficult to imagine my life without them. I have been taking care of my own, family and friends furry companions from the age of ten. I'm here for the snuggles, pets, playtimes, walks, potty breaks, litter changes and the quiet times too. From tiny, eight week old puppies, prime adults and elderly dogs that require a different kind of care and patience, to rambunctious kittens and their chill adult counterparts, each animal has a personality of their own; I'm here for them all. When people ask if I'm a cat or dog person, for me there isn't a choice; it's both! I've had experience with: - House and command training puppies from the age of eight weeks and up - Daily walks, usually between 30 min minimum to 2-3 hours; I love walks too, so it's a win-win 🐾 - Administering oral and topical medications to canines; mouths, eyes, and ears - Playtime! Or just keeping them quiet company, if that's what they prefer. - Dropping in and checking on our feline babies: changing litter boxes, feeding, play and keeping them company. I love spending time with cats of any size and stage. I am currently working part-time in food/hospitality, and begin seasonal event work in the springtime so my schedule is flexible. Currently, I have flexible availability for walks, drop-in visits or house-stays on Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. When dropping in for a visit at a client's home, I always make sure to keep the space secure and clean for our four-legged friends. Pet owners can rest assured that their dogs will be engaged with and supervised, and cat people will know that their kitties are in a safe, calm environment. Animals are special to me, and I aim to treat them all as if they are my own.
“Elissa was great! I have a large bulldog and she handled him with grace. She took him to her home and gave me lots of updates. She also came by my house to take care of my cat. I’d highly recommend!”

“Arsen and Sophia did a great job. They communicated well, sent funny pics and we returned to a calm dog who clearly liked them and was sad to see them leave. House was clean. Would hire them again anytime.”

Millbrook pet parents share their Rover experiences
Meghan was phenomenal throughout the entire dog sitting process! She was quick and thorough in her responses setting up the meet and greet, was very attentive as I walked her through my dog’s routine, and during the sitting she was thoughtful and attentive to my dog’s needs. My dog was having a skin allergy flare up and Meghan was great with taking care of her and keeping me informed every single day with a friendly update on her skin status and photos of my dog looking relaxed, happy, and playful. Meghan was also respectful of my space while staying here and left the everything very clean and looked after, just as she left my dog in excellent shape! I would definitely book with Meghan again in the future.
