About: One of my passions in life is pets and caring for them. As a graduate from Carrington College in veterinary assisting I learned valuable skills such as understanding animal behavior, CPR, nail trims and administering medications. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, hampsters, lizards, fish, frogs and feel comfortable with nearly any type of pet. What I bring to pet care is a strong connection to animals, I feel a sense of responsibility and need to care for them and be their new best friend. OUTSIDE REVIEWS Heather took care of my young and active miniature Australian Labradoodle Maggie for 3 nights. She stayed at my home and did an amazing job. I came home to a calm and happy dog and my house was just as I left it . Maggie loved her and she loved Maggie. I felt 100 % confident that she was in good hands. She has experience with animals, loves them and has even had vet tech training in the past. Previously, when I left Maggie with a sitter for 3 days she didn’t eat and lost a pound, but with Heather she was just as I left her. I was delighted. Heather gets 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 I am free just about any time and duration, and can go anywhere that Tri-Met can take me if it's an hour or less travel time. I will take your dog to a park if it's within walking distance, or walk around the neighborhood, or play/run around in the yard or house as well.

I have taken care of cats and dogs of all different personalities, sizes, and ages! I care about your pets and ensure that I offer the best service that I can. Before and after walks, I always make sure that your pets are hydrated. In my Rover cards, I provide detailed descriptions of my visit/stay with your pets! If you're working on training your pets, I'll update you on improvements and behavior. Rest assured, I've got you covered. I'm currently working part-time as I am also a remote designer. I aim to conduct visits/walks during the day with preference of weekdays - however, I can be flexible when need be! I always have a checklist for my visits to ensure that I've got all grounds covered especially if I am working with multiple pets in a visit. For multiple occasions, I've had to take care of 3 dogs/cats for a visit with different dietary plans and needs.

I am very active and love taking pups for any length of walk or park time that they need or enjoy. I am with your babies all day and I treat them like they are my own. I provide lots of love, snuggles, play time, and am happy to give them as much (or little) attention as they need. While I love to spoil our fur friends, I adhere to your instructions, always, and can provide as many updates and photos of your pup as you'd like. We have a fully fenced large backyard (for Portland) and I supervise all furry friends outside when the weather is cooperating. We have a fenced dog run that is lit, with dog door access for your babies if they need to relieve themselves immediately. Dogs are allowed on our furniture and in the bed during the day for snuggles. In a clients home, I follow every instruction left for care of your fur baby and try to leave all homes better than I left. I will never leave your dog in any state other calm and relaxed. I take great care to ensure that your property is secured when I leave and can follow any instructions for key care, lockbox codes, etc. including key pick-up and drop-off.

About: I've loved and cared for rescue pets of every kind. Be them skiddish and yippy, the biggest cuddler, to health issues of all sorts. I'm happy to work with you and your fuzzy buddy. I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of morning and evening availability. Pets may as well be children to me, they need what they need when they need it and I am happy to work your furry friend into my schedule I am very adaptable and quick to learn routines, new locations, and instructions. Every pet and home is different and I am happy to work with that. I am very capable with heavy tasks, large pets, and patient when commands don't work.

About: Known to be dependable, trustworthy, and caring, I've been a regular dog sitter/walker for 8+ years and cared for family pets my whole life. Most of the dogs have been higher needs with anxiety, special diets, medicine, routines, etc. I've even watched a Macaw! My goal is to keep your dog in their regular schedule with just as much care as you would typically provide. I'm training for a trail race and would love some canine companions on the trails! You can expect regular updates from me so you know your pet is being well taken care of! Flexible remote job, looking to book a few walks or visits (love pets & cuddles!) during the day to help dogs who are home for large chunks of time and need a break and/or some exercise! Dogs often feel more comfortable at their own house and that is what I prefer to offer. I have a cute doggie of my own at my home and can't accept boarding requests.

About: I look forward to helping people with their animals as part of my work. I love working with animals. I have had dogs and cats my whole life for the most part. Currently I have two cats and dogs of my own. I am actively engaged in dog training and really enjoy it. I do positive reinforcement and redirection only. I am currently engaged in several creative projects working from home. I have the time, flexibility and desire to help my neighbors with their animals. I can do drop ins, administer medications, and provide dog walks. I’m happy to play fetch as well. What I would do would depend on each individual situation and the needs of the pet I am caring for.

About: My family always had animals growing up dogs, cats, chickens, and the occasional horse. Except for a couple years in college, I have always had a pet. I don’t wanna choose between cats and dogs. I love them both. I know all of the dogs in our neighborhood by name. And I usually am hanging out with your pet if you invited me over for a barbecue.
