“Rachel was great with Libby. She showed up on time for her walks. Libby was excited to see her. Would definitely use her again and recommend her.”

About: I have taken care of or had pets since I can remember. My current doggo (snowball) is a jack russell rescue, who has brightened my family's day with his presence. I have experience with all types of pets, timid or rambunctious, and look forward to taking care of your babies in your absence. I am new to Tucson and look forward to exploring the city while walking with some of my best friends (your doggos) leading the way. Our pets need a help when we aren't home. Whether you need me to stop by to let 'em out back and top off their bowls or you need me to take them for a walk and stretch out those legs, I am happy to help.

Michelle P.
“Michelle has a fantastic talent for connecting with and caring for animals! In the time I have know her she has cared for all sorts of critters ranging from your standard cats and dogs to more unusual animals like chickens and horses. Beyond that, Michelle is a kind and responsible person with an impressive work ethic who goes above and beyond for any job she takes on. With her strong character and integrity I would trust her with my pet for any situation from dropping in to take care of my cat for a quick weekend trip or taking care of my cat and house for weeks at a time.”

Sarah G.

“Sarah was amazing! She was interactive with my pups and patient and willing to come out and meet them and get to know their personalities. Will definitely be using her in the future.”

Kayla C.
“Highly recommend for dogs and cats of all ages and energy levels! Kayla has done petsitting/home sitting for me before with my 10 year old, energetic dog Roxy. My dog is food aggressive and reactive, and Kayla did a fantastic job balancing her freelance work schedule and the time that Roxy needed her to be home.”

About: Are you looking for affordable pet care from someone who is committed to force-free, positive reinforcement methods? Look no further! Because I'm new on Rover and wish to establish a regular clientele, you have my guarantee that my rates are frozen until the end of April 2024. With this, I hope to create a great reputation in our community and move into training and/or day care :) Skills & Experience: -Cared for family & friends' dogs for 15 years including daily walks, senior care, and behavior training. -Currently own a 4 year old cat & a 1 year old puppy. -Well versed in R+ (positive reinforcement) training & dog behavior. I'm passionate about force-free care and am unwilling to provide services under other circumstances (this means no shock/choke collars, no pain, threats, intimidation, or coercion tactics.) I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs throughout my life, and I strive to become attuned to each animal I care for. I’m truly happy to wipe your bulldog’s face folds, go on a long walk to get out that endless pitbull energy, play enrichment games with your cattle dog, or be willingly ignored by your cat! Check out my Instagram where I post pictures/videos of your pets (with your consent!) during their service :) @tucsonpetcarebylauren Being self-employed, I have a lot of flexibility throughout my week. As such, I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, house sitting, and dog walking services any time of the day or week! During your pet's service, I vow to always arrive on time, give your pet the best care possible, and keep you informed as much as you'd like. I’m happy to help around the house as well. I know how scary it can feel to leave your pet with someone else, so I want to do everything possible to ensure both you and your pet are comfortable :)

Jennifer R.

“Jenn was great with our yellow lab Zane, she walked him every day for a week and sent great photos. She’s extremely prompt in communication and we definitely hope to utilize her services regularly!”

Aj T.
“AJ is a very responsible and loving pet caregiver. He has taken care of my 3 cats before and always was so thoughtful and attentive to them, and they are very nurturing to their own cat as well. Absolutely would recommend!”

Peri M.
“I have seen Peri with her dog, she communicates with Arilliea at a different level, it’s an absolute joy to watch! Peri knows exactly when to be firm with Arilliea, and does an excellent job with appropriate discipline, in a way that Arilliea understands and is fair. She walks Arilliea everyday and plays with her often and gives her lots of attention; sometimes when they interact I can’t tell who is making what noise, both speaking to eachother!! Peri would be delighted to spend time with your dogs, and her instinct will create a bond.”

Tiffany H.
“Tiffany is a friend of the family that has cared for our dogs and cats multiple times over the years. She provides a loving, friendly, and caring service to our animals that is rare outside of someone caring for their own animals. She is a selfless person who will care for your animals as she would want you caring for hers. (She has 2 cats and a dog who she loves endlessly!) Hire her!”

Victoria G.

“Victoria is a wonderful pet caregiver. She has cared for my dogs time and time again with love. Whether it’s for a free hour or a few nights. She sends me updates and pictures, especially when they are being silly. My dogs love running to her door when being dropped off. They just can’t wait to see her dogs. Her dogs are great with other dogs. Would highly recommend.”

Aleni A.

“Great job! Arrived on time and spent the whole time with my pup, even when he didn’t want to go on a walk! Sent lots of pictures and really cared for my pup.”

Elisa L.
“Elisa is awesome! She’s watched my cat Xena multiple times and has given her medication that’s rather hard to give to her by mouth. She always takes the best care of her and gives her lots of treats and love :) She also is an excellent listener and always communicates with me too, for not only update pictures but any potential concerns. Would highly recommend!”

Ava B.

“Took Vito to the park and he had a blast! Takes very good care of my boy, love her service!”

Jacob L.
“I have known Jacob for over 20 years. He is a truly great human - kind, compassionate, devoted to doing his best to make the world a better place. He has the kind of playful vibe to which dogs are naturally attracted. I know several lucky humans call him friend (I am one of them), but I truly believe his best friend is his dog, Apollo. He has had a long-time interest in dogs, their behaviors, their emotional and physical health, and the gift they are to our lives. He has cared for friends and family members’ dogs on many occasions. Any dog would be fortunate to be nurtured by him.”

Ben V.
“I very much trust Ben as my cat sitter for my slightly chaotic and finicky cat Turnip. Ben is reliable and communicative and considerate of my pet and home and I can travel easy knowing my cat is in good hands. He checked in with me and gave updates on how turnip was doing, played with turnip (as much as he’d allow) and just hung around the house to make my cat feel more comfy. I highly recommend Ben for your pet sitting needs!”

Barbara W.

“Barbara is the best ever! The dogs are always so happy when I get home after a play date with her. She always makes the best rover cards and makes sure they have water, treats and love! I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I have been dog walking in NYC, when I lived there. So I interacted with all types of dogs & ages. I have also had my own rescue dog for a little over 3 years now. Gosh I love her. We do a lot of running for the ball and pets. I also give her short sessions of massage. I am a singer & love to sing for my pets. It usually calms them down if they are agitated or hyper. I don't have another job at the moment so I am pretty flexible. If you want me to stay over at your house, not just walk the fur baby, I'd like to come by and say hi prior to booking. Nina, my 4 year old border collie/blue heeler rescue, is generally a loner. She tolerates other dogs as long as they don't try to hump her :) - but she doesn’t play a lot. She only plays with humans & balls. Another dog is welcome here, but if it is aggressive that could cause issues. We do have a big fenced in yard and a doggie door so dogs here can go in and out as they please. We also have 2 chickens, but they have their own fence around. They're used to dogs. So dogs here would be free to roam in/out as well as chill on the inside floor or dog bed. If I sit at your house, I will make sure to know your routines so I can try to do the same for your pet that you do. I hope to be able to give them lots of pets & cuddles. If they are allowed on the couch I will gladly nap with them. Or we can play with toys or do some simple training.

Nancy M.

“Nancy is the most caring, compassionate, and trustworthy person I know. My fur babies are safely in her care often! You can’t do better than Nancy for your petsitting needs.”

Logan M.

“Logan is so attentive to your pet! He trimmed my dogs nails when they were too long and I really appreciated him going out of his way to make sure my baby was comfortable while I was away.”
