About: I've adored dogs since I was a kid, and have years of experience providing them with loving care. My heart belongs to senior dogs – my current two were adopted in their golden years. Previously, I had the joy of raising a large breed from puppyhood (she lived to be 17!) and a small breed I adopted at age 10 who reached 20. About: I am fully insured for services provided using PCI and I also have a fingerprint clearance with the Arizona DPS. I’m a volunteer with Hope of Deliverance dog rescue and I work with them to foster, train, and adopt out dogs. I am also a member of the Tucson Action Team. Formerly, I was a trainer for Petco but I have branched out on my own. I have been training for two years now. I focus on nervous system resets and teaching animals to regulate their emotions combined with essential obedience cues for safety. I’m happy to assist with trick training and heelwork as well. I am also able to train cats. I’m happy to walk and run with high energy dogs, dogs who pull, and dogs who struggle with behavioral issues as well as do drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and some exotic animals. About: I grew up in Florida surrounded by reptiles of all kinds, lots and lots of dogs, a couple cats, and other assorted pawed and clawed friends. I've had dogs in my family since I was a little kid. I have a particular soft spot for small dogs and grumpy elderly dogs who just want to relax. About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. When I was about 11 or 12, my parents started asking me to walk our two dogs, which I did happily. Around that time, I started advertising myself as a dog walker and started getting paid jobs as a dog and house sitter. Since then, I have stayed in several client's homes while taking care of 1-4 dogs, cats (and chinchillas!) at a time. I enjoy taking long walks and can be counted on to give each dog I take care of the care, attention, and exercise they deserve. I am responsible and can be relied on to be on time and to not cancel at the last minute. I have a good attention to detail and can be trusted to do as the dog owner wants for their dog, however specific the request. I have experience administering medication as well as caring for senior pets and pets with diabetes. I work part time and have a very flexible schedule so I am easily able to fit pet care and house sitting into my daily and weekly routine. While I cannot board pets in my home, I can be trusted to treat pets just as their owners would while staying in their home. I can commit to going on walks when dogs are used to taking walks, feeding at the same time, etc.

Alyssa is absolutely wonderful 10/10! I had her help with dog walks and feeding for my two pups while I was working long shifts. My dog loves Brittany and I love her too. She communicates well. She let me know my dog had an upset stomach - I had no idea he was feeling bad! Thanks to her we were able to adjust his food till he felt better. Every time we leave town we use Brittany to do daily walks. (relatives keep dog but don’t walk him- he needs his exercise!)
