“Shaylin did an excellent job taking care of my dogs and ensuring all of my care instructions were understood and followed. She provided regular updates and was responsive whenever I reached out. I’d definitely recommend!”

“Rhianna is fantastic! She stayed with our dog overnight and took great care of him! She was timely to both our initial meeting and to her stay at the house. We greatly appreciate the care she gave our pets while we were away. We will definitely be using Rhianna again when we need a pet sitter!”

“We had a great experience with Amy! She watched our two dogs, Zed and Bow, for the day. It was clear from the moment she arrived that she’s experienced and truly enjoys being around animals. She was attentive to their needs and communicated with us to let us know everything was going well. She sent us photos of them relaxing throughout the day, which helped give us peace of mind. Both pups were happy and relaxed when we got home, always a great sign! We’d absolutely recommend Amy and hope to book with her again in the future.”

“Emma is fantastic! It was my first time leaving Jade home for an overnight. I was concerned Jade might not sleep or eat while I was gone. She not only slept and ate, but showed Emma her fun personality (which Jade often makes strangers earn over time, lol) Emma was here with Jade two weekends in a row. By the time the second weekend rolled around, Jade was thrilled to see Emma again. I was able to leave with a sense of ease knowing my baby girl was being so lovingly cared for. Thank you Emma!”

“Again if we could leave 10 stars, we would. Max is the perfect house and dog sitter. We highly recommend, as long as we get first dibs!!! Our dogs are all rescues and have significant trauma. Max is so patient and compassionate with them. He has become their friend and they remembered him right away. Our dogs that usually bark so bad people refuse to come back were calm when max came back. He sent many pictures and updates, we were able to relax on our trip which we’ve never been able to do before. We appreciate so much and recognize the skill and talent he has with dogs, he’s not the average dog sitter. He has a background as a vet tech which gives us more peace of mind as we have a senior who is on medication. He is able to handle our complex dog home with ease so we can relax. Thank you Max. We can’t wait to have you back!”

“Annika was so good with our difficult fur baby! She was able to get him to eat (he gets anxious easily) and to take his pills (he has an intense pill schedule!) House was still clean when we got home. She sent pictures and an update every couple of days like we discussed. Very happy with our first Rover experience and so was our dog! :)”

“Highly recommend. She was prompt, sent regular updates and took great care of our pets. The dogs were happy and well cared for when we arrived back home. Will use her services again.”

“Aria took diligent care of our pup Ellie while we were both away on work trips. When Ellie wasn't feeling well Aria kept me up to date the whole time, which made me feel comfortable in what could otherwise be a very concerning situation. She even gave Ellie a bath when she rolled around in the mud! Thanks Aria for all your help 🙏”

“Both of our animals warmed right up to Candice as soon as she came in for our meet and greet. My dog usually barks at strangers but didn't this time. Candice was friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to leave our home for a few days feeling comfortable with the booking knowing our animals were in good hands. She also sent plenty of updates and photos and left our home cleaner than we left it.”

“Jennifer takes such good care of our pets and even spends some time on training. She was especially helpful this past time as we’re dealing with some home issues and she was able to let our plumber in to deal with it. Definitely will be using her again. Thanks!”

About: Hello, my name is Angela and I'm 23 years old. I’ve always had dogs and cats all my life. Recently my dog had diabetes, so I was able to give insulin to him when he needed it. My parents also relied on me whenever they went on vacations, I was always taken care of their cats for them. Right now I’m currently unemployed at the moment. So, I’m available at anytime at the day. I’m currently doing DoorDash at the moment. But, I can do walk in, drop in visits, and house sitting at anytime or any day! I do currently have a dog of my own, so if I were to do house sitting, I can for sure work around that, just please let me know ahead of time. At my house I do have a small backyard with a fence all around, but inside I do have a cat, but she is super shy and may get scared around other male dogs and cats. I also have a dog of my own and her name is Bear and she’s a chocolate lab/pit bull mix

“Neive was great with our dog Coors. We got picture and videos update which we really appreciated. Her communication was fantastic. When we got home from our trip the house was it great shape, it was like no one was here. We will definitely use her again.”

“Shannon came over and spent some time with our two Siberian huskies while we were out for a long evening. She came over earlier in the week for a meet and greet as well. She was wonderful! She sent pictures and updates and took excellent care of our fur kids!”

About: To me, pet care doesn’t feel like a hassle or a “job”. I enjoy spending time with all kinds of animals because they don’t deserve humans. Pet care allows me to learn about the kindness and life experiences of our furry companions. Whether that’s a dog or cat, guinea pig or bunny! If we give a little extra time to those that rely on us and learn about WHO they are, we can maybe reflect on ourselves a little, too. I’m currently a sophomore at Delta College and I only attend Tuesdays and Thursdays (9am-2:30pm). On Mondays and Wednesdays I work from 8am-1pm. Fridays and weekends are usually best for those that need full-time care, but otherwise my schooling and job don’t interfere with many pet-related activities. I am flexible with mornings if needed! My dog, Copper, is getting older and needs more attention. He gets one long walk a day only due to the fact that his hips are causing him pain. Before this, however, he got a morning walk and a night walk (1mi each) while also playing indoor/outdoor games like catch, tug-of-war, hide-and-seek w/ his toys, etc. He gets brushed everyday (he’s an Aussie) and LOTS of snuggles! I’d get in trouble if he was sitting alone. I have a grand amount of experience with long-haired animals and I understand the attention needed with their coats. In MI, snow is no-fun for long-haired dogs and cats. But, as dogs require, outdoor time leads to mats. I’m gentle with dogs of all ages and exercise and a healthy diet is very important no matter the breed. While I love to cuddle as much as the next furry-friend, play time is just as fun and can help maintain a healthy lifestyle.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was born! I raised a puppy when I was 15 as well. I love all animals, big or small, and I have experience taking care of cats as well I have an 8-4 right now, but I will be available after that to help out in any way I am needed on the weekdays! I would love to play with any dog, I love playing fetch and tug of war with my own pup and yours as well! I also love dog walking.

“Riley took the dogs for a run. She provided some photos and updates while she was at the house. She responded quickly. I'd definitely recommend her to care for your animals. She provided a great experience.”

“Rachel was an amazing dogsitter. Her communication season point and I loved that she sent us photos throughout the days we had to be gone. We found her in a pinch last minute and will now be using her regularly when we have to leave town.”

Midland pet parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She was incredibly communicative—easy to reach and quick to respond. The picture updates she sent were not only reassuring but totally adorable and clearly showed my pet was happy and well cared for. It was such a relief to know everything was going smoothly while I was away. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring!

We've used Mikayla as our pet sitter and house sitter any time we go on vacation for the last several years! She is so good with our animals. On our most recent vacation, we had a 3 month old puppy and Mikayla did so well with her! Mikayla continued the training we had been working on with her and sent us pictures while we were away. Mikayla is kind and responsible, we would recommend her to anyone!
