Amy was great! She was very attentive to my pet cat. I gave her a walk through the day before and introduced her to my cat. So while I was away, Amy would take the time to pet and provide comfort to my cat as best she could. She was always great about keeping me updated which I greatly appreciated! Overall I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter that will do their absolute best to care for you furry loved one.

I contacted Maria late on the evening before we were leaving for a last minute weekend away. This was our first time to use her. She responded and was so sweet to come for a quick meet and greet before we left. We knew right away that she had a special love for cats. She and our Mac connected right away. We loved that she shared many photos with us and let us know what she did on each visit. Maria gave us peace of mind that our boy was being well cared for while we were gone. She also kindly watered my flower pots for me. We highly recommend Maria.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and have been pet sitting since the age of 13. I grew up with cats and dogs, and I currently have three senior cats and a rabbit, who I love to spend my free time with. I am comfortable and have experience with administering medications to cats and dogs, walking dogs, caring for older pets, and working early mornings or late evenings. I would love to meet you and your pet! As a recent college graduate, I currently have full availability and a flexible schedule. This allows me to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve! I believe that every pet is different, and deserves individualized care based on their personal routine, personality, and needs. Before booking, I take time to learn about feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medications, favorite activities, etc., in order to provide the best care possible for your pets. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention and playtime, while also keeping their environment clean and safe. I am also more than happy to provide regular updates, such as texts and photos to the owners, so that they can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: Hi! I’m Addy — a lifelong dog lover who recently moved to Freeland, MI. I share my home with Kahlua, my sweet and friendly Pomsky, who loves making new dog friends. I know how stressful it can feel to leave your pup with someone new, and my goal is always to give your dog a safe, calm, and happy experience — full of warmth, playtime, and love. Whether you need a walk, a drop-in visit, or a cozy place for boarding, your dog will be treated like family. I’m patient, responsible, and very attentive to each dog’s personality. I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and honest communication. Hablo español también, si prefieres comunicarte en tu idioma. ❤️ Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m currently working only Thursdays and Sundays afternoons, which allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, and consistent supervision. I build my schedule around the dogs I care for, making sure they get attention, potty breaks, and exercise at the times they need it. For boarding or drop-in visits, I’m very flexible and can adjust to your dog’s normal routine — whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. Your pup will never feel rushed or left waiting. My goal is to keep your dog’s day feeling predictable, calm, and comfortable. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, dogs are always supervised and kept in a calm, clean, and secure environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. I provide fresh water at all times, regular potty breaks, safe playtime, and a cozy place to rest. I make sure doors are always closed, and I only introduce dogs to my Pomsky, Kahlua, if both pets are comfortable and it’s a good match. For walks and drop-in visits, I use secure harnesses or leashes, stay alert to surroundings, and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I keep a slow, steady pace and avoid unsafe areas or interactions with unfamiliar dogs. Whether in my home or yours, I care for every dog with patience, structure, and attention. My goal is for your pup to feel safe, loved, and relaxed — and for you to feel fully confident while they’re in my care.

About: I'm a dedicated animal lover with a proven track record in the pet care industry. My diverse experience includes owning and operating a successful pet training and boarding facility, as well as consulting for a renowned service dog training organization. As a lifelong pet parent myself, I understand the unique bond between humans and animals. My personal "zoo" includes three beloved dogs and a menagerie of other species, reflecting my passion for all creatures great and small. I actively contribute to my community by working with local rescues and animal welfare organizations. My expertise extends beyond dogs to a wide array of animals, from hamsters to horses, with a special affinity for exotic pets. I'm known for my professionalism, flexibility, and genuine love for animals, which consistently earns the trust and affection of both pets and their owners. As an overly attached pet parent myself, I empathize with the worries that come with leaving your furry (or scaly!) family members in someone else's care. That's why I go above and beyond to provide frequent updates and personalized attention, ensuring your peace of mind. When I ran my own facility, I even created individual "blog" pages for each dog, allowing owners to stay connected with their pets daily. I'm thrilled to offer that same level of care and transparency to my current clients. Let me bring my expertise and passion to your pet care needs – your furry, feathered, or scaly friends will thank you! For an extra fee, I can tack on training to daycare or boarding My routine is pet care centric, whether I'm pet sitting or not. I'm almost always doing something with my many pets, particularly the two dogs. I follow strict safety protocols. If needed, I can crate your dog, use double leashes etc. Whatever is necessary for your pet to have the safest environment

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Midland stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Midland choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
