“Highly recommend, I know that Carly took such great care of our girls while we were out of town. Great communication before and during their visit which is honestly so refreshing! I know we would love to use Carly again in the future!”

“Gloria was wonderful with our senior dog. She is warm and friendly and very caring to my furbaby sending multiple photos during her stay. Highly recommend and will book with her again!”

“Kristina took excellent care of Skyy along with beautiful pictures sent daily of my fur baby which was a total plus! I will definitely be calling her again for pup care, thank you Kristina 🐶!”

“Brian, his wife, and his home are the perfect place to board your dog. My dog Cali has felt right at home and couldn't be any more spoiled. The attention, energy, and love she recieved while staying with them couldn't have been more perfect. Their house was immaculate, the yard, and location is perfect. Brian is easy to communicate with and responsive and very flexible. I was going out of town for work and needed a place for my dog and wasn't sure how long I'd be gone. They were helpful and extending was easy. If you're looking for a loving home away from home you don't need to look any farther.”

“I was able to book with Casey last minute and she took great care of my Sweetie. When my cousin picked my dog up she said my dog was walking around like she was home and comfortable. I would definitely rebook and you should too.”

“I always feel comfortable leaving Whiskey with Samantha while I’m gone. I was away in the mountains for 5 days and wasn’t worried a bit because she takes such great care of dogs!”

“Alona is absolutely amazing!! Very attentive and detailed. She communicates well with updates and she really put my mind at ease when I needed a dog sitter in a clutch. About: Here to make sure your 4 legged family feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and always do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel as comfortable and loved as possible. I work Monday–Friday, but my schedule can be flexible at times. If you need pet care but aren’t sure whether my schedule will fit your needs, feel free to message me! I’m always happy to help whenever I’m able. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups. I crate trained both of my dogs while they were potty training, so I also have a large crate available if that fits your pet’s needs.
“Marianne and Ginger 🐾 watched my boys for 2 solid weeks while I had surgery and recovered. My boys are incredibly anxious and clingy about me, and one of them has a history of not eating while I’m gone. This is the longest I’ve ever been away from them in their 11 and 1/2 years. I think they would have been happy to stay longer. They were totally fine, no issues, and I received regular updates. Both Marianne and Ginger have incredible patience for my bossy boys. ❤️”
“Alex and his wife took such great care of our Pico! They were more than accommodating with his puppy nature and potty training schedule and they sent us regular updates and lots of pictures. If we ever need to use a sitter again we will definitely come back to Alex, they treated Pico like their own! Such kind and caring sitters that I would recommend to anyone!”

“Ashley has been absolutely fantastic throughout the boarding process! We really appreciate the communication, photos, and help Ashley has been able to provide. Went above and beyond with last minute reservations, extensions, and bathing requesting for our dog. Overall perfect experience, thanks for everything!”

“Stephanie did an awesome job looking after our Scooter who is 17 years old this month. She provided daily updates and photos. Would recommend using Stephanie if you are in the area.”

“There are not enough words to express how wonderful Veronica and her family cared for our lab mix puppy (5 months). Our dog was tired when she returned home, which told me she had the best time. Just two examples of the excellent care she provided...Veronica sent photo updates and she was willing to help our puppy meet other dogs (She had asked beforehand - again, just how thoughtful she is). The other example was our puppy came home not really caring for the food or water I placed down the moment we came home, which told me she was well fed and cared for. 10/10 would recommend and go with her again. Our puppy was so happy to be home, but she was sad on the car ride home because was leaving her new friends that took such wonderful care of her. Thank you so much!”

“OMG! I cannot express how thankful I am Awy & Stephanie. They were able to watch Jrako on a very short notice, made it no hassle at all. They gave Jrako everything he needed with no hesitation at all. Updated me throughout the day, and you can tell Jrako had a good time because he went back to get a hug before leaving. Will definitely be bringing jrako back!”

Will and his sons took such great care of our dog, Sammy Bean! She had so much fun during her stay that she needed a few days to rest and recover when she got home Will was extremely responsive throughout the entire process and kept us updated with pictures, messages, and even a drawing—which was such a thoughtful touch. It really gave us peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. The drop-off and pick-up process was smooth and easy, and both Will and his sons were incredibly kind and professional. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for loving and reliable care for their pet!

Aspen took really good care of my sweet girl while I was out of town. She made sure to communicate with me while my girl was with her. I felt comfortable leaving Finlea with her, knowing that she would be taken care of. I could tell that she loves here job, and caring for others babies! I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is needing to find someone trustworthy for watch their fur baby!

Debbie was great....she gave us regular updates on Roodles. She took very care of our dog....we were very impressed. She even had a meet and greet in the beginning to meet roodles....we felt very comfortable leaving Roodles with her. Our dog is scared of fireworks and Debbie comforted her and got her through it on NY eve

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
