“Robert, Laura & family are fantastic!! 100% recommended. We boarded our 6 month old labradoodle for 4 days with this great family. Communication was easy and informative. A big plus was them having children and another puppy themselves. Our pup loves our kids and we didn't want him to be lonely in a completely quiet house. It turned out perfectly because he made a friend in their little furball, Oreo, and enjoyed the kids attention as well. We have a really great vet with kenneling we could've used but didn't like the idea of Olaf being boxed-in with dozens of other sweet, but barking dogs 24/7. (I did the tour to see what it would be like.) Rob & Laura sent us several pictures and even video clips while we were gone. They were very thoughtful! We had no regrets and actual enjoyed boarding him. Thanks so much guys!! We hope to board him with you again next time!”

“Allison and her husband are great!! I am so thankful I found them. Every time I take my dogs to her they run up to the house and are so excited to be there. They send updates and pictures throughout the stay and I love it! They always look so relaxed and happy!!”

“Julie was so awesome! Sent regular pictures and made sure to take care of our dog. She was easy to communicate with and coordinate. The backyard was fenced and perfect for our dog to play. Thanks Julie!”

“Shuga was very excited at the meet and greet. Glad we did that first to make us both more comfortable before the Vacay. Nancy's home is very pet friendly and u can tell she likes her guests. Good to see the pictures while I was gone. Shuga must have really enjoyed her pawsome new friends because she has rested a lot since she got home. I would recommend Nancy and I will use her again.”

“Susan was so good with Homer! From the initial meet and greet through the first time sitting. If Homer is happy, we are happy. Communicates very well and is understanding when our travel plans adjust.”

About: I have had 5+ dogs in my home since growing up. I love all animals, and love the craziness they bring! Dogs and cats bring so much joy and I will treat your animals like my own. My calendar is updated and I am available at those times. The weekends I am fully available and during the week animals will not go more than 4 hours between potty breaks! I have a fenced in yard and 2 dogs that are very friendly! My golden retriever loves all animals and is looking to play with anyone! Both dogs are up to date on their vaccines and are both neutered.
“Carlie was awesome for our dog- he was happy and well cared for while we were away. Really appreciated the pictures Carlie sent us each day as a check in! Would highly recommend Carlie to others!”

“This was the first time I left my pup with someone outside of family, Erica eased the anxiety that came with the new situation. Erica sent pictures and texts to keep me posted on how my pup adjusted. I would gladly trust Erica and family with her again.”

About: I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I have been caring for pets my entire life and have a lot of experience with dogs. I work from home and I’m available to give your pet the attention they deserve while you are away. My home can be their home away from home. I care for all visitors like they are my own and spend tons of quality time with them. I love to take walks and I include at least 2 20-minute walks for each day your pet stays with me.
“Great communication during booking and boarding. They have a wonderful home and shaded yard for dogs to live their best lives. My dog Bella was well taken care of.”

About: I have a handful of experience with animals. I have myself in my lifetime have had nine dogs and 10 cats that I along with my family members took care of throughout my entire life. I now currently have a golden retriever and a massive grey cat. I love animals always have and was the neighborhood pet sitter throughout middle school high school and even college. I treat pets like people and we love the opportunity to be trusted with something you love. I am almost always free. As I am in between jobs. I have a good deal of time on my plate and am happy to help. At my place with my pets, I walk my golden 3 miles a day. We also have enrichment toys inside the house and for the cat. We play with cat toys for about an hour a day, but allow her lots of mental stimulation with birdfeeders near windows that she can watch. I also take my dog to the park to throw the tennis ball with him as his favorite thing to do is play catch. Our walks consist from neighborhood walks to nature hikes whatever the location allows.
“Nicole did an amazing job watching Mocha while we were traveling out of state. It was the first time both my husband and I would be away from her for longer than a day and we certainly had some worries. Nicole eased all our concerns and treated mocha like she was one of her own pups from the second she met her. Nicole kept us updated daily on how Mocha was doing which certainly comforted my dog mom heart. I HIGHLY recommend Nicole to everyone! She knows what she’s doing and gives unlimited amounts of love to your fur babies when you can’t be there to do it yourself”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - LaGrange
Absolutely fabulous experience! So welcoming, kind, and so experienced with how to handle different dogs! My two medium to large dogs had an absolute blast for two weeks. And Jennifer is so knowledgeable! She pointed out a few things she noticed with my dogs that as a new dog owner I don’t think I’d have identified nearly as quickly. And to top it all off, she’s a fabulous communicator. 10/10 best Rover experience I’ve ever had!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
