About: I grew up having dogs, cats, chickens, a turtle and a mouse and always wished to have more! And then started pet sitting for other people’s furry babies. I have experience with the most active and excited, as well as shy and quiet souls. I’ve learned how to take care of puppies and senior dogs. I’ve taken some classes for my mom’s dog to train him which gave me even more of an understanding of their behavior. But most of all, I truly love each pet I meet! My morning shifts start between 7AM and 9AM and end anywhere between 1PM and 5PM. My afternoon shifts start at 2PM and end around 9PM. Some days I work all day between both of my jobs. On these days I am able to conduct drop-in visits and/or walks on my break. I can easily stop in for morning, afternoon, or evening walks and check-ins based on my availability. I just recently got a furry friend of my own so I am unable to provide overnight stays. I have extensive experience with caring for both large and small breeds. Most of my skillset is catered toward dogs, however, I have had experience with cat sitting. I can walk, feed, and care for all breeds. I am a huge animal lover and do not have any preferences when it comes to breed type or size. I absolutely love playing with animals or simply just relaxing with them. I own a hatchback vehicle, so if the animal requires a transport I can provide that service.

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was a little girl, for as long as I can remember I have never been scared of them no matter how big or active they are. My first dog outside of my parents how was a husky (crazy decision I know), but training her and seeing her grow has been amazing! I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, shy dogs as well as very active dogs. I’m currently doing Rover as a side job, therefore whenever I’m taking a client I will be home with your dog the entire day except to take the dogs to the park or on walks! I live in an apartment so I don’t have a fence yard, however I live on the first floor and there’s a big yard where I can take the dogs out and play with them. I’m also 5min away from Maple Hill dog park.

“I was so nervous about hiring a cat sitter as I’ve never used a cat sitter before but Jeannie assuaged all my fears. She did a complimentary meet and greet visit a week before I needed her services to meet my kitty and talk over specifics and that really helped. She listened to my concerns and made me feel better about everything. During the week when I was gone Jeannie messaged me as soon as she arrived at my home and sent 6 pictures of him every day with updates about how he was doing. From the pictures I could tell my cat really liked Jeannie. He’s the type of cat who normally runs every time anyone comes through the front door but from the first visit with Jeannie he was out and about when she arrived rubbing on her. She didn’t even have to look for him LOL She played with him and gave him the pets he needed to feel comfortable and happy without me home. By the end of the week he was sitting on her lap which was great to see. He really enjoyed her visits and I was happy to know he had pets and cuddles and loving care while I was gone. All of his dishes were clean and his feeding area was spotless and neat when I returned as if I had never left. I will definitely have Jeannie be my cat sitter the next time I take a trip and I would recommend her to any cat or pet owner that is nervous about leaving their cat alone for a few days. Me and my boyfriend Jerry just started rover together ( i have had an account with rover for a little over 5 years i did rover on a side years ago and also worked for my sisters dog walking business in the city as well!! ) We’re a reliable, animal loving couple with years of experience caring for pets. We both grew up with family dogs and currently have two cats together ! ( no dogs yet unfortunately until we move into an apartment that allows us to 😔) one we’ve had for over two years and another we recently fostered and welcomed into our home a little over 3 months ago .
