About: I take pride in my work and strive to treat each and every animal I care for as I would my own personal pets. I personally understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your furry family members and do my best to make the experience as amazing as possible for both pets and pet parents. I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. Since then I have also branched out into working in animal rescue as well. I also am currently pursuing a certification in dog training. I currently work for myself so my hours are flexible. I can accommodate dog walking most mornings, afternoons and nights. I currently offer in home boarding but limit it to three dogs per night to ensure the best quality of care. In both cases, I make sure to follow pet parents’ instructions very carefully. I will ensure that all areas that we are playing or walking in are either fenced in or they are always leashed. When I’m away, they can be crated if needed and I will ensure they are let out before I leave. Pets in my care are always supervised. I make sure to regularly check on them when things seem too quiet, and am attentive to food, water, and potty needs. I provide a comfortable and familiar environment for your pet, sticking to their regular routines. I also give lots of attention and love to keep them feeling safe and happy. After years of house sitting, I am also used to existing respectfully in someone else’s space. I am tidy and always try to make your home as clean as it was when you left before I leave. I am a quiet neighbor and will ensure that all doors are locked/security systems are set when needed. About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals around. I have had many dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits, rats, and horses over the years. I have a degree in Equestrian Science and have taken care of animals my entire adult life. I have always been an avid hiker as well and love to take the pups on walks around the area. I currently own 3 dogs, a parrot, and 2 chickens and will give your animals the same love and attention that I give my own! I'm currently working part time and so have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I am currently available for house sitting, drop in visits and dog walking. If your dogs get along with mine I might be able to do boarding as well. I have a dog door at my house with a fenced in yard along with 5 acres of fields to walk in.
