1. Julia R.
“Julia was terrific! She showed up for a last minute request. She was friendly, prompt and flexible. My dog was very comfortable with her at the outset. I was so impressed that since she needed to address something at home she offered to take my dog with her rather than give me less than the full hour walk.”
2. Anastasia A.
“Anastasia did a fantastic job caring for both Sammy and Sadie while I was away. Provided them with long walks, food and fresh water. She was attentive to the pets and owners needs, schedules and requirements. I would highly recommend her again”
3. Carmen M.
“Carmen goes above and beyond for my dog Holly! She sends me so many pictures and videos of her while I’m at work and it makes my day! She stays late and always offers to come again if I get stuck at work late. I think she genuinely enjoys walking my dog and it makes me so happy.”
4. Christine T.
“I have worked with Christine in the veterinary field and have also been the caretaker of her pets and in both scenarios have come to know her as a responsible and compassionate pet lover. She is always concerned about the quality of life and wellness of the pets that she cares for. She has had several pets live into their senior years and is very attentive to the subtle changes that might indicate illness - such as weight fluctuations and changes in mobility and always addresses these changes quickly.”
5. Angela G.
“Angela is a true pet lover! She is super attentive and caring. I am a dog mom of 2 and there are not many people I trust with my babies. When I need someone to take care of them, I know I don't have to worry with Angela looking after them.”

About: I usually work with shy, aggressive or fearful dogs or cats. It can take weeks, months or years to befriend them but when you do it's extremely rewarding, especially when an animal someone deems "dangerous" comes out to be the biggest sweetheart. I have tons of patience and I believe every species of animal deserves love and respect. As humans, it's our duty to be the voices and guardians of the animals in our care. They look to us for comfort, guidance, love and peace. That's why I do anything in my power to donate or volunteer at animal shelters because every animal should know that there's humans out there that actually care about their well being. Working with animals is a great career for me. Update; 8/2020 I’ve been volunteering and working with pets as a professional pet care provider for five years now. Through my journey I’ve learned pet CPR and gained dog training knowledge through Poochpals llc as well as worked as a dog handler at walterspetstyles. I’m currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer and furthering my knowledge on Pet care. At Poochpals we believe in being a friend for life so I’m definitely bringing our motto into the field and looking to become a furever friend for your pets. If you’re ever in need of an actual PROFESSIONAL pet care provider, look no further! I also have basic training knowledge so don’t be surprised if your pup or cat comes back knowing a few new tricks 😂 I have open availability Monday-Sunday. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! My dog, Odin, loves to make new friends of all species. We have multiple fences in house and around the property. Pups are also supervised 24/7 and we have a designated dog room just for them. Back porch is also secured with gates. Dogs aren’t allowed on the lawn without human supervision and a 20ft leash. Lawn is fenced. We have strict safety procedures when it comes down to pets and children.

About: I am in the Middletown- goshen area of Orange County and can’t board any animals at our new home. I prefer a meet and greet before booking and have excellent references. I can walk, spend time with , and play with your dogs and/or cats. I’m experienced with administering medications to both. I have references from my customers in Sullivan county where I used to live if needed . Recently retired I now have a very open schedule for your vacations or weekend needs. I have been an Eagle nest monitor for the NYDEC from 2011 - 2019 on the Delaware River and on Yankee Lake NY 2013- 2022 and have been involved in animal rescue . *That means I have both domestic animal and wildlife experience. I have been a local volunteer and continue to involved in my community. I am newly retired and can come anytime that fits into your schedule . Hopefully I can be the person you call for your vacation or special occasions. Sadly, I no longer have a place to board any animals. But I do have some great references and would provide them upon request. I do have a medium size pup of my own I can bring if you have a friendly dog.

13. David P.
About: I’ve volunteered at pets alive animals shelter and have family who currently work in the cat house. They’ve taken in a number of loving rescue animals and I’ve helped them take care of them watching them and walking them. I run about a 5k a day so I’m always active. Getting a chance to take a loving friendly pet out and enjoy being outside would work perfect for me. I’ve taken care of two yorkie poodles training them and watching them grow from puppy’s. I love them as they are huge part of the family.
14. Sydny Y.
“Sydny is fantastic with all animals! She has had many different pets of her own growing up and has shown true dedication to them all. She is patient, loving and attentive. I would highly recommend her to care for any loved pet and you won’t be disappointed!”

I’ve had multiple dogs including my 3 now, Lyla, Magnolia & Petunia. I have experience with rabbits, guinea pigs and birds. I would love to help anyone out that needs watching during a vacation or just walks in general ! I am available 7 days a week for walks and check-ins! Accepting new clients and would love to keep your fur baby company at any time! I have a fenced in yard, 3 fur babies to keep yours company. They will have access to plenty of water and treats if allowed. If you need me to crate your dog I can as well.
16. Kira & Brian M.
“Kira would be a perfect new pal for your four-legged friends! She is so amazing with my 60lb shepherd/husky mix - he didn’t want to come home after staying with her for a few days! We got updates and pictures during his stay, which put us at ease. He was fed appropriately (he has food allergies) and given his nutritional supplements. He was taken on long daily walks and was even allowed to sleep in her bed! We will always recommend Kira and have her pet sit for us when needed!🥰”
17. Sahdya C.
About: I am 25 years old. I have a tuxedo cat and a plot hound pet mix and take care of a senior Chihuahua. I’m great with dietary restrictions and medication‘s as mine have both as well as behavioral issues as I used to have a Maltese with those issues. I love animals of all sizes As mine range from Maltese to an 80 pound pitbull. I have a super soft spot for all animals as mine are also from either the pounds or I picked them up from the street. I’m available for same-day bookings as well. I go to school full-time, but most of my days are free and I know what it’s like to need someone to sit or walk your dog on short notice which is what I had problems with because things come up so that’s what I want to be able to help with. I am also able to accept days that I’m not available before 8 AM and after 3 PM I have a fence yard and my dogs are on a feeding schedule and walking schedule as my plot needs a lot of care and attention. We’re out most of the day taking walks are going to the park or running and my kitty Is currently being trained to go outside on a leash as he’s very curious and has been loving it I take into account their body language, and if they seem nervous or excited if they are apprehensive with. My biggest concern on walks is to make sure that they’re getting enough exercise. We’re not pushing them too hard and making sure that we’re aware of our surroundings just in case there are other dogs nearby.
18. Elizabeth G.
“Elizabeth G is wonderful with my dog Sherman. He was a rescue, so he doesn’t do well with strangers at first but I was amazed at how quickly he warmed up to her. Elizabeth is a kind caring but most importantly patient. She is always available when I need her the most and I know when I leave my dog with her he’s in safe hands.”
