I currently work as a Shift Leader at a very busy dog boarding and daycare facility, where I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, temperaments, and personalities. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend(s)! ❤️ My work schedule at my kennel job is posted 1–3 weeks in advance, which makes it easy for me to plan around bookings and provide reliable care. Whenever I’m not at work, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and other pet care needs. On my days off, I have extra flexibility and can spend more one-on-one time with your pup, whether that means longer walks, extra playtime, or simply giving them ALL of the attention and companionship they deserve. Overnight stays are accepted on a case by case basis depending on my work schedule. During walks and drop-in visits, my focus is on safety, enrichment, quality of care, and making sure your pet gets the attention they need. Whether that means a long walk, playtime in the yard with some toys, or a good cuddle session, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. I always aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. Before each booking, I’ll get to know their schedule, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications (if applicable), and any behavioral quirks or preferences. I’m trained in canine first aid and CPR, and my experience in a busy boarding and daycare facility has taught me how to stay calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations.

About: I have worked with many different dogs including dogs who require medication, dogs with anxiety, dogs who are slow to warm up to people and dogs with energetic personalities. I also work very well with cats and have a lot of experience caring for both indoor and outdoor cats. My family has owned pets ever since I was a kid so I have grown up with animals and am very comfortable around them. As an entrepreneur I have a very open schedule. I am available all times of day on weekdays and frequently have availability for weekends. I have some availability for Holliday’s. I closely follow the owners instructions for how they want their house and pets treated while I’m there. If you do not have a yard to let your pets roam free in I am able to take them on walks as often as needed. I follow feeding instructions and I am extra careful to make sure that dogs with special diets get what is needed and don’t receive what they can’t have.

About: I have had a 4 legged companion nearly my entire life. Dogs and I tend to have a mutual understanding and respect for each other. I have worked with teacup sized all the way to extra large dogs with complete comfort in my ability to communicate with and manage dogs. Most clients decide to keep coming back even if it's just to have a play date in the fenced in yard. I work from home currently with my own attention seeking dog, he would love a friend and I may as well take care of more dogs since it's second nature to me. Depends on what the client wants. I play chase, tug, fetch, "what's that" with my dog. If the weather is nice I will leave the back door open so he can come in and go out as he pleases. Water is always down, treats and food are given by me. I don't have a kennel but if you want your dog to have one I welcome them in my home.

“I'm truly thankful to have met and hired Yushonda. I have watched over 100 dogs, and I mean it when I say she is a step above everyone else. Mara is dog aggressive and dismissive of people and very slow to build trust. Yushonda would not settle for good enough or merely being present in the house. She strived and worked hard to build that trust, working with Mara, making her presence known, and building trust at Mara's pace. I was shocked to hear Mara got comfortable enough to jump right in bed on the first night. I had expected at the end of the stay for our dog to maybe allow pets, instead she made a great new friend by the first day and asked for belly rubs, something she only does for 3 people. Yushonda instilled trust not only in Mara but also us. Without her, we would have not been able to have gone on our trip and been able to see family, relax, and be at ease.
