“My boy Chauncey stayed with Dan and Clare for three nights four days. I was sent multiple forgraphs to show how he was faring including him eating and sleeping. I had a GPS collar on him which showed the amount of play time and rest time he was given. (A LOT)!! Their yard is huge and fenced. Unfortunately my dog has learning to jump over cyclone fencing the week before staying with Dan and Clare; therefore, I put his GPS collar on him. They watched my sweet naughty (sporting dog - very concentrated on looking for creatures and can lose his mind by only having those thoughts in his head ;-) ) and I could tell much attention was given to watching out for him and guaranteeing he was safe. Their three dogs - after they bark upon your arrival - are very sweet and very accepting of newcomers. I would use them again in a heart beat. I travel on the road with my dog and also spend time in Texas so it will be hit and miss when the need arrives. However, should you want a safe, clean, dog "resort" for your pup go here. Lots of new smells, critters to chase and great hosts for your four legged family member, Thank you Dan and Clare!”

Having two frenchies, we know how high maintenance some dogs can be, that’s why it’s important to us to provide the best experience for you and your fur baby. During Monday-Friday I work 8-5. However, Matt does work from home so will be able to give your fur baby all the love and attention!( if Matt does have to step out it’s typically no longer than 2 hours but not often ) If you have any questions regarding our schedule, please feel free to reach out. If for some reason Matt does have to leave for more than a couple hours, we will block that day off as we do not believe in leaving fur babies alone for long periods. We are homebodies on the weekends as well. So someone will always be with your fur baby. We will make sure your fur baby gets plenty of walks and outside time. We live in a nice/quiet neighborhood. When the weather is nice, our frenchies love to sun bathe, play fetch, we also set up their splash pad, so we spend lots of time outside. We do allow dogs on our bed and furniture( if you allow it) we will not crate your dog unless we do have to step out ( which again is not often). During the night, we will not crate unless you prefer them in a crate. Please let us know if there is any special request and we can accommodate. We do ask for a meet n greet for any boarding to make sure your dogs and our two frenchies get along. Your fur baby’s safety and comfortability will always be our priority as well as our babies. We know how it feels leaving your fur baby and you might get anxious so we will make sure to send a daily update. *Please note we are happy to accommodate large dogs, they MUST get along with little dogs. We do only accept one large dog at a time. Please be sure to look at our pics as we do have a short fence, if your dog is known for jumping we may have to utilize a leash* **DROP OFFS/PICK UP- Please do not show up early without talking to us prior, If you are going to be late, please let us know asap, we operate around your guys times selected and scheduling other bookings/meet n greets around drop off and pick up ***

I keep food where it belongs to prevent mishaps, and keep things off the floor to prevent injuries of their me or pets. When going for walks I like to stick to trails or sidewalked areas that have decent cell reception, just in case. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.

About: I have a considerable amount of experience working with dogs on the personal and professional level. Being a dog groomer for over ten years has given me the opportunity to get accustomed to all different breeds and ages of dogs. I've worked with everything from five pounds on up. I have also owned and trained three dogs of my own. I enjoy being active with my dogs. We've done obedience classes, agility, dock diving, and fly ball together, as well as hiking trails or just walking around the neighborhood. I would love the opportunity to get to know your dog. At this time, I only offer day visits in my home. I would be able to provide full grooming services for dogs up to 50 pounds. Rates starting at $25. I do require that you sign a pet care agreement form for day visits and a grooming consent form if you would like your dog groomed. I have a fenced in yard where your dog can explore freely, supervised of course. During the day your dog would have freedom to roam around the house. I do require that your dogs be up to date on their rabies vaccination (need to show proof) and on a flea preventative. I will not book without doing a meet and greet first. We need to make sure this is the best possible environment for your dog and for mine. I am certified in dog first aid and CPR should a situation arise. If I have to leave the house for any unforeseen reason your dog will be crated. This is for your and my dog's safety.
About: Hi there! I have had animals at home my whole 30 years of life! From cats to dogs to rabbits & chickens! I have been professionally watching peoples pets for the last 5 years. I did attend a vet tech program in 2018. I have experience with puppies, all the way to senior care. I am comfortable and experienced at administering meds as well! I am a stay at home mom to a school aged boy. I am home pretty much all day every day. Making my availability extremely flexible. All pets will be at the main floor of our home, we do have a basement. We are not fenced in but are completely surrounded by woods on our 5 acres of land! Most of the dogs I watch will be put on a leash outside unless I am told they won't run away! Also, will crate if that is what they are used to!

She sent us daily updates from their walks to the lake, so our dogs got really good exercise while with Laura. “My boy Chauncey stayed with Dan and Clare for three nights four days. I was sent multiple forgraphs to show how he was faring including him eating and sleeping. I had a GPS collar on him which showed the amount of play time and rest time he was given. (A LOT)!! Their yard is huge and fenced. Unfortunately my dog has learning to jump over cyclone fencing the week before staying with Dan and Clare; therefore, I put his GPS collar on him. They watched my sweet naughty (sporting dog - very concentrated on looking for creatures and can lose his mind by only having those thoughts in his head ;-) ) and I could tell much attention was given to watching out for him and guaranteeing he was safe. Their three dogs - after they bark upon your arrival - are very sweet and very accepting of newcomers. I would use them again in a heart beat. I travel on the road with my dog and also spend time in Texas so it will be hit and miss when the need arrives. However, should you want a safe, clean, dog "resort" for your pup go here. Lots of new smells, critters to chase and great hosts for your four legged family member, Thank you Dan and Clare!”
