I currently work as a Shift Leader at a very busy dog boarding and daycare facility, where I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, temperaments, and personalities. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend(s)! ❤️ My work schedule at my kennel job is posted 1–3 weeks in advance, which makes it easy for me to plan around bookings and provide reliable care. Whenever I’m not at work, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and other pet care needs. On my days off, I have extra flexibility and can spend more one-on-one time with your pup, whether that means longer walks, extra playtime, or simply giving them ALL of the attention and companionship they deserve. Overnight stays are accepted on a case by case basis depending on my work schedule. During walks and drop-in visits, my focus is on safety, enrichment, quality of care, and making sure your pet gets the attention they need. Whether that means a long walk, playtime in the yard with some toys, or a good cuddle session, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. I always aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. Before each booking, I’ll get to know their schedule, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications (if applicable), and any behavioral quirks or preferences. I’m trained in canine first aid and CPR, and my experience in a busy boarding and daycare facility has taught me how to stay calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations.

She is so amazing with my dog reactive Great Dane, she always takes extra precautions and steps necessary to make sure their walks are a success and as low stress for both of them as possible. Today, with less than an hour before Harley’s scheduled walk, I threw Daisy for a loop and asked her if she could go to a different house that she’s never been to before to pick Harley up and on top of that, asked if she would mind bringing a friend to walk my stepsister‘s dog who was there with Harley. She had no issue accommodating to these plans and did not even expect to get compensated for the additional time and effort (which I absolutely did anyways). About: I’ve always loved being around animas, I have experience of animal care of well over 10 years. From horses, to dogs, cats, to rabbits. I am very comfortable being around big and small animals! I am currently babysitting a few days during the week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (rarely Wednesdays) from 1-6pm. I am usually very flexible with my schedule and always make an attempt to work things out! I will always make sure your pet has fresh, clean water and always goes potty! I always clean up after myself, and I put everything back where I found it.

When I personally am trusted to stay in someone's home, I usually stick around the same area of the house out of habit. I keep food where it belongs to prevent mishaps, and keep things off the floor to prevent injuries of their me or pets. When going for walks I like to stick to trails or sidewalked areas that have decent cell reception, just in case. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.

About: Hi there! I have had animals at home my whole 30 years of life! From cats to dogs to rabbits & chickens! I have been professionally watching peoples pets for the last 5 years. I did attend a vet tech program in 2018. I have experience with puppies, all the way to senior care. I am comfortable and experienced at administering meds as well! I am a stay at home mom to a school aged boy. I am home pretty much all day every day. Making my availability extremely flexible. All pets will be at the main floor of our home, we do have a basement. We are not fenced in but are completely surrounded by woods on our 5 acres of land! Most of the dogs I watch will be put on a leash outside unless I am told they won't run away! Also, will crate if that is what they are used to!
