From working closely with shelter dogs to supervising group play sessions of up to 60 dogs, I’ve learned to manage pet dynamics with patience, awareness and confidence. My background is supported by numerous courses in canine safety, behavior, communication and proper interaction techniques. I’m also trained in administering medications and handling special care needs, ensuring every dog - whether in a home or social setting - receives the attention, respect and care they deserve. I currently work at a dog care facility part time. My schedule varies by day but I remain committed to accommodating my clients whenever possible. When I take care of dogs in a client’s home, I try to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for both the dog and the owner. I stick to the dog’s usual routine- feeding, walks, playtime, and any meds they might need- so they feel comfortable and at home. I also send updates and photos to reassure my clients’ that their pets are happy and doing well.

About: I always been around dogs and animals my whole life and since I was really young I’ve owned a dog and have been taught how to take care of them. I’ve taken care of dogs of friends and family including dogs as young as a new puppy and as old as 13 years old. I would take close attention if there were any special details aswell. I am currently in college studying business and marketing. I am usually available most days a week and will always put animals before myself. I am trying to get more of a solid job soon, so availability may change soon. I always make sure that there is nothing of danger laying around in my house and in close reach of the dogs. And I would take the same care for another persons house as I would with my own, including keeping it clean and safe.

About: I currently volunteer at an animal shelter and love working with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and demeanors! I also have some basic training experience through my dog trainer, who also specializes in service work and behavioral training. My personal dog, Toffee (basset hound!), lived to be 16, and my favorite time with her was the patient walks and TLC needed as she got older--happy to support your senior animals too:) A couple other tidbits: I have experience working with farm animals (chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas!) and majored in Environmental Science in college. Looking forward to meeting your furry ones! I currently work part-time remotely, so my schedule has lots of flexibility. I will balance my time with pet care through Rover and at the animal shelter, so I am happy to work with you to find good times (evenings and weekends included, depending on when). I prefer to meet or provide care at your home, but I also live in a very walkable neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. I currently live in an apartment, but have access to a fenced-in yard and a sprinkler for the hotter days. While I do not currently have a crate in my personal vehicle, I am happy to get one if you are more comfortable. I also have close friends with dogs and cats if play dates are helpful too!

About: I have experience with fish, reptiles, small critters like rabbits/mice. I also have owned cats and dogs my entire life so caring for four legged fur balls is close to home! I’ll work with any pet any temperament! I’m currently available at all times, so I can work around any schedule! I’ve owned lots of small critters like bearded dragons, rabbits and fish! I also love furry friends like pups and kittens! Care and maintenance of any animal is relatively simplistic as i’ve cared for animals my whole life! I can offer a variety of services such as walks, feeding/watering, brushing! I am very religious about leads/leashes and would not take any pet anywhere without them! If we have a fenced in area such as a home or park with permission only would I remove leads!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family and friends, including reactive/difficult dogs. I grew up with big dogs and now have a fur baby of my own. I will treat your dogs with as much patience and care as I do my own! I work until 3 in New Haven so I am free for afternoon walks/drop ins. I can also watch your pets while you are away! I cannot care for dog’s in my home as my dog does not do well with other dogs. However, I am more than happy to come to your house and help however is needed!

About: Every person is unique, and the same is true of every pet. For this reason, I'm determined to provide your pet with the care they deserve. Long walks, hugs, play time, and plenty of snacks are not off limits for me unless instructed otherwise. I work a full-time shift. However, I am accessible anytime thereafter. Weekends, I am available for whatever surprise you may have in your busy schedule. I do have a mini golden doodle which may or may not scare you into boarding with me. However, if your pet is uncomfortable I will move her to a different floor. There is a small dog park at my apartment that is fenced in. My apartment is always nice and tidy leaving nothing lying around to prevent chocking hazards.
