“Katherine was wonderful! She stayed overnight to watch our two pups and took such great care of them. She was respectful of our home and communicated with us throughout her stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Most importantly, our dogs loved her and were happy and well-cared for when we got home. We would absolutely book with Katherine again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

“David, we felt an immediate calm when we met you and saw you with Harry. Our snowboarding trip was a blast and we did not worry about our boy. We hope you will be willing for more stays…we want to snowboard more!”

“Emily and Sarah were amazing with our dogs while we were away for the week. They not only cared for our pups with love and attention, but also kept the house spotless and treated our home with respect. We especially appreciated the daily photo updates—they gave us such peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“Kathryn is awesome!!!! My husband and I had a bad experience with Rover last June with another sitter and haven’t traveled since. After moving to Connecticut, we decided to give it a shot and test it out again for one night. Kathryn was so kind, polite and reassuring that all will be well after listening to our horrid experience last year. She offered two visits before the actual sitting just to get to know our Pep and us. She always showed up the time she said she would. Pep warmed up to her quickly. Dogs know :) During the sitting, she sent multiple updates and went above and beyond. She did everything she could to make sure pep was accommodated and comfortable! She also respected our home and left it as she found it. Will definitely be booking Kathryn again. We can’t thank you enough”

“We were able to have a worry-free get away because Christopher was taking care of the homefront. He was very reliable and was great at communicating with us the whole time and he clearly took great care of our boy, Domino. Thank you Christopher. We will certainly call on you again!”

“Brittany is fantastic! I am so at ease when we travel knowing she's caring for our two dogs. She walks them and makes sure they go out regularly, keeps their water bowls stocked, and gives them all the cuddles they demand. Looking forward to our next trip knowing Brittany can be with them :)”

“Carolyn was amazing - again!! This was her second time taking care of our dog, Roxy. She took her on so many walks and hikes and just took amazing care of her.🩷 We are so appreciative of how kind and communicative Carolyn is when we're away.”

About: With years of hands-on experience interacting with dogs of all breeds and temperament, I’ve developed a deep understanding and genuine passion for canine care. From working closely with shelter dogs to supervising group play sessions of up to 60 dogs, I’ve learned to manage pet dynamics with patience, awareness and confidence. My background is supported by numerous courses in canine safety, behavior, communication and proper interaction techniques. I’m also trained in administering medications and handling special care needs, ensuring every dog - whether in a home or social setting - receives the attention, respect and care they deserve. I currently work at a dog care facility part time. My schedule varies by day but I remain committed to accommodating my clients whenever possible. When I take care of dogs in a client’s home, I try to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for both the dog and the owner. I stick to the dog’s usual routine- feeding, walks, playtime, and any meds they might need- so they feel comfortable and at home. I also send updates and photos to reassure my clients’ that their pets are happy and doing well.

“Sara took such amazing care of our dog while we were away!! She stayed at our house with Roxy and took care of her for 6 days. Sara sent us lots of pictures and updates throughout the week. She took Roxy on walks, played ball with her in our backyard, gave her lots of love and made sure she was okay during the holiday neighborhood fireworks and in the summer heat. We were so happy with Sara that we already booked her to stay with Roxy for our next vacation in a few weeks!”

About: I always been around dogs and animals my whole life and since I was really young I’ve owned a dog and have been taught how to take care of them. I’ve taken care of dogs of friends and family including dogs as young as a new puppy and as old as 13 years old. I would take close attention if there were any special details aswell. I am currently in college studying business and marketing. I am usually available most days a week and will always put animals before myself. I am trying to get more of a solid job soon, so availability may change soon. I always make sure that there is nothing of danger laying around in my house and in close reach of the dogs. And I would take the same care for another persons house as I would with my own, including keeping it clean and safe.

About: I currently volunteer at an animal shelter and love working with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and demeanors! I also have some basic training experience through my dog trainer, who also specializes in service work and behavioral training. My personal dog, Toffee (basset hound!), lived to be 16, and my favorite time with her was the patient walks and TLC needed as she got older--happy to support your senior animals too:) A couple other tidbits: I have experience working with farm animals (chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas!) and majored in Environmental Science in college. Looking forward to meeting your furry ones! I currently work part-time remotely, so my schedule has lots of flexibility. I will balance my time with pet care through Rover and at the animal shelter, so I am happy to work with you to find good times (evenings and weekends included, depending on when). I prefer to meet or provide care at your home, but I also live in a very walkable neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. I currently live in an apartment, but have access to a fenced-in yard and a sprinkler for the hotter days. While I do not currently have a crate in my personal vehicle, I am happy to get one if you are more comfortable. I also have close friends with dogs and cats if play dates are helpful too!

About: I have experience with fish, reptiles, small critters like rabbits/mice. I also have owned cats and dogs my entire life so caring for four legged fur balls is close to home! I’ll work with any pet any temperament! I’m currently available at all times, so I can work around any schedule! I’ve owned lots of small critters like bearded dragons, rabbits and fish! I also love furry friends like pups and kittens! Care and maintenance of any animal is relatively simplistic as i’ve cared for animals my whole life! I can offer a variety of services such as walks, feeding/watering, brushing! I am very religious about leads/leashes and would not take any pet anywhere without them! If we have a fenced in area such as a home or park with permission only would I remove leads!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family and friends, including reactive/difficult dogs. I grew up with big dogs and now have a fur baby of my own. I will treat your dogs with as much patience and care as I do my own! I work until 3 in New Haven so I am free for afternoon walks/drop ins. I can also watch your pets while you are away! I cannot care for dog’s in my home as my dog does not do well with other dogs. However, I am more than happy to come to your house and help however is needed!

About: Every person is unique, and the same is true of every pet. For this reason, I'm determined to provide your pet with the care they deserve. Long walks, hugs, play time, and plenty of snacks are not off limits for me unless instructed otherwise. I work a full-time shift. However, I am accessible anytime thereafter. Weekends, I am available for whatever surprise you may have in your busy schedule. I do have a mini golden doodle which may or may not scare you into boarding with me. However, if your pet is uncomfortable I will move her to a different floor. There is a small dog park at my apartment that is fenced in. My apartment is always nice and tidy leaving nothing lying around to prevent chocking hazards.

Michael D.
“I volunteered with Michael at a no kill shelter for over a year. We have had to deal with some very volatile hard to manage type dogs. He has had his own loving dog for almost ten years and has a lot of experience with high energy dogs.He has taken care of my dog over the years when I have had to travel, and he would be my first pick for a dog sitter. I think Michael would be perfect for this line of work, not only because of his experience, but also because he understands that dogs are an extension of family. He's responsible for himself and his own but he'll be responsible for your beloved pet as well.”

Grace H.
“Grace has a natural connection with animals that's clear whenever you see them interact. They treat every animal as if he/she was their own, and in the time I have known Grace they have always remembered feeding schedules, bathroom times, and play time with the animal they are taking care of. They also pay attention to specific traits of the animal, such as their favorite treats, favorite toys, things they like to do and don't like to do. I would trust Grace to take care of my pet for any amount of time.”

Alex K.

“Alex is a wonderful sitter. Our dogs and cat love her and she took such fantastic care of our home. We feel very lucky to have her as our walker and sitter!”

Angelina D.
