She has a nice-sized fenced backyard where all the dogs could run and play together, which Indy really seemed to enjoy. Elizabeth was caring for four other dogs during Indy's stay, and it was great to see how well they all interacted. She also sent daily videos of Indy playing with the other dogs, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Overall, I appreciated Elizabeth's communication and the care she provided. We did a meet and greet before boarding to make sure everything was a good fit, and Lady, who is normally a very anxious dog, seemed super comfortable right away and immediately started exploring the space. Arlen sent daily pictures and was very accommodating throughout the stay. My flight was canceled the day I was supposed to pick Lady up, and Arlen truly saved the day by being flexible and able to continue accommodating her. Words can't express the love and care my Sami gets when she stays with Marta and Jorge. We get lots of photos and stories about what she's done, how she's helping in the office, or on walks, or in her bed - and not only that, when we went to pick Sami up after her stay, yes she was super excited to see us through the glass door, but then she kind of flopped down in place, next to Marta, as if to say she would be happy and relaxed to stay on. She's NEVER done that before - always wants to bolt out the door and jump into our car! But her state of mind and relaxed and comfortable attitude just showed us how at home she was and what good care they took of her. Mafalda has the magic! Kenzie was a little shy at first, but now she and Mafalda are completely inseparable. Mafalda took the time to meet Kenzie at the dog park before her boarding stay, and I truly think that made all the difference. Meeting in a neutral environment gave Kenzie a chance to get comfortable with her before being in a new setting.
